I got chickens about two years ago. At age 75 I learned how to build three lovely chicken houses with runs. I had never done any building before. My husband showed me how to use the tools but I did all the building myself. He did help me attach the metal roof to the first home. I love you and your lovely family. Go girl.
That is awesome! You go girl:) 3 of our kids have chickens and have built chicken taj mahal's for them!!!! :)
Your fabric stash is phenomenal
Aw thanks so much! Been collecting for YEARS:)
Great Job❤
My daughter started working at the zoo in the City close to our little town. They had to close the zoo area to large crowds, only guided tours (3-6 people) with masks, and able to tolerate a Covid quick test. She was checked every 4-7 days! Then, she was required to get vaccinated, and boosters. I was that one in a million that had an adverse reaction. No one would take responsibility for me to get the second shot. My daughter and I had the original strain of Covid 19. So, we had some immunity. The reason for the precautions is because they have not found a vaccine for animals yet. About 6 months ago (just before Thanksgiving 2023), they stopped the testing. Off and on, if there's an outbreak of bird flu, we are not able to consume fowl! She likes this job for now, as she got her Master's Degree in Fine Arts. This enables her to teach, even college level. In a few months, she will be attending Old Dominion to receive her Doctorate in History. So, she will be in Virginia for a few years. I was struggling when she was only 2 hours away! She will also return to Ireland to study abroad. I will be binge watching your videos Jean. You so like me. Sometimes you want to make something different. I have only 1 child. This transition will be difficult, but I'm so proud and excited for her. She will be teaching while studying! ❤😊
Hi Jean, you made a super tutorial. Thank you very much. I just meet you today (of course online) and just clicked an Abonnement button. 10 kids, whow, and you are such a pretty young locking beautiful woman, I am so impressed. I am a woman with lipoedema too, with one child only, but I don't look half as beautiful and pretty as you. You impressed me and I look forward to seeing more films from you. Thank you so much. Greetings from Germany, Britta
Aw thanks you so much Britta:) You are very kind:) Sometimes I feel 100!!! LOL LOL! Bless you:) Take care:)
Such a fun tutorial. I love that you go step by step. So many do not. I also love that when you make a mistake you don't edit it out and that you take the time to explain it where we do not make the same mistake. You would have made a great teacher. Oh, wait you were with 10 children. It shows that you were great, just look at your wonderful loving children. Let me say today you look so beautiful, RED is sure your color. I love the blouse you were wearing in the first clip. I have got all my pieces cut out and so excited to get started. Thanks for all the tutorials, I appreciate them all. Hugs from Western PA.
Aw thank you! And to think I flunked out of high school ~ because I pretty much 'fell through the cracks' and no one really cared! A 'teacher' ~ go figure!! LOL LOL! I 'teach' the way I would like to be shown; step by step by step by error by fixing by step by step...etc!!! And really though.....who DOESN'T love red!!?!?! LOL!
@@jeantruelovetruelovequiltsfory Your the best.
I feel the same esp the mistakes x
HEY JEAN

Aw thanks Pat! That is very kind of you! Rude people are just out to bring others DOWN to their level!! But lovely folks like you keep me going:)
I mostly catch them and report them and they are gone. Sorry if some get through and you see them, ignore, always sad people that have no life and tried to wreck yours xxxxx
I love this way you did the top closure. Excellent job Jean.
Thank you Christina:)
Excellent!! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful Paddy Anne:) Thank you:)

NOW I understand zipper installation! I want to make reusable grocery bags that zip so things by don't roll around the car - this was do helpful.
Now I understand Zipper Installation too!! LOL! Considering this was just the second one I've done, I'm pretty darned proud!! :)
Great tutorial on putting in the zip section Jean - gives me confidence to try this myself, thank you.
You can do it!
Wow Jean that is gorgeous, never knew how to do that and I'm sure takes practice. Thank you for showing us ☘️
Thanks! This was only the 2nd time I've done one! But I think I've got it down now!! :)
Love your specs!!! Looking good!
Thanks Kim! I like them too:)

Of course you can Doras....if I can do it, SO CAN YOU!!! LOL!
Melhor explicação que vi
Não vi nem uma brasileira dar uma aula tão perfeita
Thank you so much;)
This is superb, Jean, you made it work! Seems everyone has those little buggers this time of year. I sprayed the outside of the house, then had to spray the baseboards inside...finally gone. We want out, have to stay in, they want in, we want them out...squirrelly, huh. I do the same as you, when I saw one, would squash it with my finger. 👉🏻🐜
Perhaps I should have edited that out!! LOL! LOL! Probably freaked out some people!! LOL!
Lovely to see you this morning. It’s a sunny bank holiday here in Wales but the builders are working today so I have to stay inside. It gives me chance to catch up with your tutorials so that’s a good thing. Take care and be safe.
It's a 'holiday' here also...'Memorial Da'y. So everybody is at home......wait.....Everybody has BEEN at HOME for the last three months!! LOL!!! (but with the 'virus', it certainly did not feel like a 'holiday'.....:/) Keep healthy!!
Hi Jean, still enjoying all you do, endeavouring to finish my scrabble quilt before I try this project, just takes me time to get the goodies together and follow you! Need to get the bosal or interfacing for my lining, my local shop is closed, but they deliver, isn’t that great. Also , sat on my reading glasses that I need to sew, mmm, blooming things to try us, but , like you, planning soon to see children/grandchildren, social distancing picnic. Thank you for keeping me sane, that’s a laugh in these awful times eh? Love, laughs and friendship from Kris, ex Norwich, now Lymington England.
Oh, did you get the scrabble letters that I used? How wonderful! (I bet you don't have as many names as I did!!!LOL!) Did your glasses break from your **sses?!?! LOL! I'm sorry about that! Can't wait to have a big Truelove gathering (we USED to have many!!!) as soon as 'normal' resumes!!! All the best to ex-Norwich Kris:)
Great tutorial and this makes perfect sense and will be a great bag to make. Thank you.
Thanks Nanci:) You are most welcome;)
Very good tutorial. I really like this zipper. Must try. Love watching. Keep up the good work and please stay safe.
Thank you! You too Grace:)
Thank you so much for the excellent detailed instructions and taking the time to film it. So helpful.
You are welcome Heather! Glad they are useful:)
Gorgeous bag! Love your fabric choice!
Thank you! Cheers Angela;)
Jean I was trying to replace my needle threader on my brother v5 using a tutorial. It was hard for me. I told myself ‘it’s not hard it’s fiddly you can do it’ you’ve given me courage as I did your recessed zipper on my bag when you say that. I applied it to something else! Thank you. Needle threader fixed! I’ve done lovely bag but can’t attach! Love Julia. Hope yr house ready soon
Good for you! 'Fiddly' is NOT 'hard', just, well, Fiddly!! LOL! I would love to see a pic...please send one to me at: Truelovequiltsforyou@gmail.com! :) Thanks Julia:)
Awesome! Beautiful job. I can’t wait to try this. Thank you
Thanks Verna! This was a proud moment of mine! :)
This was great! I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks Jean!
Please do!
AWESOME!!! Can you do a video abut a bag with zippered pocket divider in the middle please??
Hi Jean, You’ve done a beautiful job !!! My compliments to you on this technique, this is turning out beautifully. Hi to Ian and Maxwell. And if you think of it, say hello to Jen. 💖 Have a great weekend, ❤️ Chris-Raleigh NC
Thank you so much Chris! I'll pass on your regards to Jen:)
That was really, really useful Jean, thank you. I was a little worried that you did not have the zip opened enough! I kept saying to the screen 'open the zip, open the zip'! Great looking bag .
Don't worry, I heard you!! And opened up the zip that much more!! LOL!
Превосходно, спасибо
Great 👍, thank you for your video
Thank you Rose!
Hi, just what I was looking for,I really love it when some explains the "science of it".I was wondering why you drew the line at 3 inches at the triangle portion for recessed section? Is this standard or it depends on some other measurement?
Thank you
You are most welcome;)
Hi Jean! Wow, you really helped me! I have a hate affair with zippers haha! Love to watch your videos. Hope all is well with you and your brood! xo
Thank you Sue! Yes, we are well.....well....haven't seen hardly anyone in almost 3 months, but physically well!! :)
@@jeantruelovetruelovequiltsfory I hear ya. We have a new granddaughter and can only see her on Facetime but grateful for that. And she's our first! Boo hoo
♥️😄😄😄
Nice
Thank you Sylvia!
I can't find part 4 !!!!!! And at last I know how to put a recessed zip !!
LOL! You can't find Part 4 because I've not uploaded it yet!! I will be soon ~ showing how I put in the lining and finish the bag
Where did you get the LED light strip that’s on the underside of the longarm of your Juki?

Is any of this written down. I sometimes do better with written tutorials.
Sorry, my visual tutorials are just that...to watch and learn. I don't write down my projects/patterns...so maybe you will want to check out the dozens and dozens of UA-camrs who provide written patterns.
You are not long winded. You explain how and what the tutorial is about. You give the book version of how it should be done. Then you show how and why you're doing everything. I've watched this with other people. They tell you, but don't show anything. You showed it could be fiddly and it could feel like you're wrestling an anaconda. But, if you know where you are on the bag, you'll know if everything is going okay or not. Another channel attached the zip section and the lining all at the same time. But, they didn't show how!
