His opponents shot 39% FG when Joker guarding them in playoffs. He is doing his best on defense, it's just that he can't jump so he can't be shotblocker but jumping is not a skill, it's a gift.

Bill Walton certainly had his moments, and so did bill Russell. Not quite the same way because of the expectations of the eras that they played in but they were certainly capable of operating offense in similar ways. Where jokic is unique is that he is the first center to combine ALL of the aspects of the best playmaking, scoring and ball handling bigs besides him not being and explosive athlete or vertical threat. He’s taken a bit from moses, Duncan, and dirk as a scorer, a bit from bird as a initiator and creative playmaker in the full court and off the dribble, a bit from Sabonis/divac and Walton as a passer in the post. He’s fused all of their primary skills together to make the ultimate offensive big. The league is lucky he wasn’t blessed with the body, defensive iq, and athleticism of David Robinson or we may have a new goat on our hands. Lol.
