Thought I would try a new format of videos as in these short lore questions. Do let me know what you guys think. Also if you haven't checked out the second channel already we've released a video on the Vikings and their history. ua-cam.com/video/zRqYz70BhJw/v-deo.html
Really appreciate the coverage on ogres. They have always been my favourite race and I love getting into on them. I honestly didn't know that ogres were responsible for so much of the hordes naval prosperity that was super cool to hear
Thank you so much, I've actually wondered how ogres got all over the place and was going to go searching, then your video pops up and it's just like, wow, perfect timing.
Goblin and Ogre were supposed to play a much bigger role in Vanilla and there was supposed to be a South Sea expansion right after Vanilla but because of technical limitations we were send to Outland.
Dude I legit thought they hid in barrels like rats. Like the Horde were unloading their ships when they first got off and when the barrel broke, like 15 ogres scattered.
Great video!! I love the way you edit your visuals :) I hope one day we get playable Ogres or Mok'Nathal I actually didn't know too much about their navy so that was pretty cool
this current expansion is literally the best time to implement them. Sylvanas could easily use the Stonemauls or. Her banshees to take over any of the clans they have access to. Beefy warriors and with some capable of necessary ship building skills, Sylvanas needs to do this
...The better question is, where the HELL did their remaining dreadnoughts go AFTER the 2nd War? Did they disassemble them to form their new strongholds? The ONLY one I can account for is sitting in a Defias run cave...
@@devincampbell5007 Possible, yeah. But we never see ANY hint of their old ships, let alone any newer or updated versions from Classic to at the EARLIEST either WoD or BFA (again, sans the *one* the Defias Brotherhood has been working on and think can, alone, pose a serious threat to a major city). The bigger mystery than how a naval *power* managed to get across the ocean is just what the hell happened to the ships they used to get there..
@@Recoil1808 Other than in WoD ogres were never really a big threat, so I think them not being used as a big Azerothian threat is a good reason we haven't seen their behind the screens navy. The Venture Co (which at this point might have the largest navy on Azeroth) we don't ever see much of either but they might have a few ogre Dreadnoughts since there are ogres in the Venture Co
@@devincampbell5007 It's more that we see their strongholds basically EVERYWHERE... Granted we MOSTLY encounter inland ogre clans, so coastal ones may not have even settled down in the same way...
I would say the ogres faced a decision: Stay and get hunted like game by the Alliance or sail westward with the hope they hit land We can assume which choice they went with
Can you make a video about map and actual scales of islands? Current map looks so bad that if it were actual sizes of islands then it would be impossible for ogres to reach kalimdor just randomly cause islands fill too much of The Great Sea.
Mr. Doron, can you please make a video about what happened with the Draenor after we defeat Archimonde? I just done the Mag'har orcs scenario and I heard that Garrosh died, and I'm not sure. Btw, I'm really curious what happened in Draenor, and if Garrosh truly died.
Definitely although the question of the video was how did so many ogres establish a presence in Kalimdor. The Eastern Kingdoms aren't really a mystery as they arrived with the orcs.

You should find a different sponsor, or atleast read up on g2a.
Dude I legit thought they hid in barrels like rats. Like the Horde were unloading their ships when they first got off and when the barrel broke, like 15 ogres scattered.
The imagery of that is absolutely hilarious.
I would love an uncut version of draenor with the ogre continent and all the other thing they wanted to do like the black temple as an alliance city
G2A are scumbags, bro. Good video, terrible sponsor.
Hm, I did always wonder how they did get OGRE here.
Ogres as allied race, please blizz. Instead of those furrie's dream vulvar or whatever they are called
Been fighting for ogres since Cataclysm when they originally were supposed to be added.
TheTrueFeleas they were considered. Worgen and Goblins were always going to be the ones who got implemented.
Doron really enjoyed this video! hope you have a great day!! :D
Please make a video about the Scarlet Crusade.

Oh yeah, no explanation on the Stonemaul Clan? They had a big part on the Siege of Theramore Isle
I really wish the Stormreaver clan was fleshed out. They had Ogres and some of them could have survived. The Horde could use some new Necrolytes.
Since ogres are a naval race it would make sense for them to have sailed to quite a few of the continents
Make ogres a playable race please!
Keep up the good work Dorons!
Thank you. Yeah I'd love to see ogres as playable.
@@Doronsmovies would've been good having Ogres for Horde and High-Elves for the Alliance. but we got the Draenei

Comrades, Rexar's ogres after the events of Warcraft 3 did they somehow participate in the life of the Horde? Did they help the Horde afterwards?
They have helped the Horde throughout the expansions although their contribution is quite limited.

G2A.🤬
This shady code seller is so bad even developers want you to torrent their games rather than buy them from G2A.
I see ogres and I slam the play button
Once we get playable ogres I'm instantly going to make an ogre fire mage without second thought
@Doron, make a lore video about Shen'dralar Highborne Night Elves, in ruins of Eldre'thalas (DIRE MAUL) in Feralas
Will consider it, thank you for the suggestion.
Don’t take G2A’s money, that’s low
Ogres got to Kalimdor because they were part of the Horde and some followed Cho'gal after Warcraft 2. He had recruited many to follow him to Feralas.

*it's not ogres*

@@dror843 what's wrong with Asmongold?
Did they also come through the Dark Portal to Azeroth? Could you also talk about how they got to Azeroth in the first place?
They came exactly the same way the orcs did, I believe!

They have their importance for f*** sake !

They sailed with the goblin carters maybe.

The choice to make ogres knowledgeable at sea could be influenced by the fact that in Greek mythology giants are the son of pseidon god of the sea.

Garrosh was killd by thrall in makgora
I just want to know how they repopulate . Havnt seen any lady Ogres yet
I could say the same about Worgen before Cataclysm. The Blood Troll Matron models would make perfect female Ogre models
