Can't wait to go for a hunt soon! We've just had the most rainfall in 100 years here in NSW Australia... Should make for some newly shifted gold locations. Just need to wait for the rains to stop! haha. Thanks PJ!
Nice video Jess, this may help a lot, I was searching on google about where the coarse gold and flake gold are distributed along the paystreak, but I didn't get detail about it, i hope you could explain about it. Ty.
Great video. Question will gold be hold up on bedrock before a waterfall? There's a bottom of a (S) before the waterfall and bedrock on that bend. Or do you think it would just go over the falls down below somewhere? Tthanks.
I live in Georgia and I hunt often and take note of my creek. I went to my creek last week after a big flood and I didn't even recognize my own property. Now the creek is hard rock bed and with sandy shores and there are big quartz and many other colors of rocks. Also I now have a 1.5 feet tall natural waterfall. I'm about to go gold crazy
You can find an article I've written about prospecting by searching "What's the gold in my pan worth?" I'm the author, Russ Chadwell, an engineering student in Omaha Nebraska. I'd hoped it might be a worthwhile teaching tool, but it really needs the review of experts, like yourself. Thanks if you can help!
Yeah thanks, but why do we NOT shown the actual digging sights in a close up pix, (OK you don't want to give away your "hunting area" ) but instead of your drawings & profile picture the close up would be much more helpful......... ?

Nice video. Just found some between the layers in the quartz stringers. Well done! Thanks for the info
Great taking action and getting results (gold in crevices.) Keep it up!
Do you think gold would get caught before a waterfall on top?

I love sniping. I have found some great gold being a salamander and a heck of a sunburn wearing only 1/2 my wetsuit!
I member watching Flintstones was a fav show of mine, nice tips would like to try someday

One tool you can use is a hand dredge beside your tools you need to get into crevices
Hand dredge or even a power dredge will help. ;-)
I'm a sniper and metal detector user
But sniping is my normal I've opened up big holes to find nothing but have opened holes to find a nice lil bounty
is there a bedrock map per state?

Good point, have great bedrock pics for examples but need time to integrate into show.
