What we learned from this video: 1. Tyr is less the honorable warrior of the titans we thought he was, and more a scientist in personality. 2. He fucked around and found out.
I wouldn't be surprised that what happened to Galakrond becoming the monster he ended up being, is what caused the elemental dragons to hate the titans.
Dragonflight Lore is so far amazing. Definitely making up for lackluster Shadowlands lore (which I didn't actually hate). Very Exciting! Thanks Dorons for making so AMAZING lore videos! Keep up the good work
Yeah this is what I've been saying. It feels like it's setting up even that we could be fighting the titans eventually. I mean blizzard straight out said the Jailer was stronger than the Titans.. and we beat him powered up with the sigils. So... Like we might as well be stronger than them now lol. Definitely feels like we're on the wrong side.
I want to see alexstrazsas brother being some sort of sentient zombie dragon in stasis, thats stable. A product of tyrs remorse/guilt and curiousity. He does state that it seems any proto can absorb any energy given enough time. Or he can be galakrond 2.0 and id still be happy.
@@laertesindeed The Old Gods are evil, yes. But the Titans quite often make mistakes that can lead to dire situations. Like how they created the Old God G'huun...
If we think of the incarnates as counterparts to the aspects and that galakrond was an incarnate, they intended to make an aspect and try and failed. Maybe he was the primal incarnate equivalent of Alexstraza
Decay... the one the dragons were not able to be infused with as they are living creatures? Nefarian was just trying to continue Tyr's work like maybe his father was?
Think Thyr went to make the first aspects with elemental magic to follow up the elemental lords. Since Azaroth consumed the element of spirit he used Wind, Fire, Earth, Water and Decay, but Decay went wrong in the form of Galakhrond. The others tried to stop him first but were driven mad in the fight and that's when the aspects came in and stopped him and they were given the power. I think he made Galakhrond to get balance cause the Elemental Lords had none cause there was no element of Decay lord.

You know at this point I no longer want to bring Tyr back. The guy is definitely evil for experimenting on proto-drakes and creating the incarnates in the first place. Maybe the infinite dragonflight is correct, and doing the right thing by hiding Tyrs' memories away from us.

I thought raffam was the one who revived the galakrond in decent of dragons expansion in hearthstone. and certainly destroy Azeroth. And now where doing this again? Lol 😂 we already heard about it long ago.
Tyr infuse the dragons with different energy. Galakrond with decay and goes wrong. But maybe not. He kinda became an aspect of death. What if the one that didn't really work is light?? Kinda never see anything about a light blessed dragon.
I've made the prediction before but I feel like there will be revelation that old Gods were created by the Titans, in a way. Like Greek gods. The newer generation of gods and goddess were born stronger and more beautiful compared to their older generation. To include kill off the older generation for their seat of power.
No. Unless they ret-con it again, there's already established lore for the origin of the Old Gods. The only one that was artificially created by the Titans was G'huun
Galakrond tricked all of the proto-aspects into giving him all their power and he became deathwing 1.0. The new aspects are created and destroy deathwing 1.0 with the help of stone Jesus's glowing disc
Your mother and father created you if you did go off and make Frankenstein's monster in other horrible things does that mean it's your parents fault. All these things were finding out that the Titans creations did after the Titans left why are we then saying it's the Titans fault can we found one shred of evidence or the Titans told them to do these things or hide these things not that I've heard or red so why is everyone blaming to Titans it's their creations they're doing these things or did these things
not really, it's adding context to missing information in the original story, which is generally good writing, since making bit historical events vague in the first place is so you can elaborate on them later generally. You can argue retcon, but nothing has been directly contradicted yet, which is much better than previous retcons with the titans, old gods etc. What we have primarily so far is the idea of 'unreliable narator' since the events were only witnessed by very few, they can chose what to omit or play up the role of. Also I think this makes the titans much more interesting, a god like race with good aims but also basically disregarding the effects they have on 'lesser' species, I mean Algalon was gonna destroy all life on Azaroth just because it wasn't to plan at one point xD

I really love the design of raszageth and his elemental sibilings. They really look like primal forces of nature. Dinosaurs with powers
@@notyourdaughter666 sure. Did I say the contrary?
I think what would make the most sense is that Galakrond was the primal incarnate of decay or a dragon experimented using the element of decay.
Makes sense thematically considering leatherworkers use an altar of rot to make certain items (some professions might also)

Who wants to bet that Tyr will be the REAL end boss of the expansion?
Idk maybe. I do hope we go back in time and fight galakrond for an encounter
They told us we would know who the end boss is by like the end of this patch, so I dunno

So tyr is not the same baddass honorable hero that inspired the silverhand anymore, cool
Tyr just wanted that sick Dragon Mount - he just needed to find the right combo to get one big enough for him to ride.
Mark my words fellas
yogg is gonna revive Galakrond and eventually he will be the expansion's last boss
But Malygos and the Blues are arcane. If mixing Gala with arcane was the problem why would he do it again with Malygos?
Oh, another spit of new lore... We can basically throw out our Chronicles books to the trash, I guess.... yeayy 🥲
Well he's got the time scale off there were no apescts when galakron happened only after
Do you have video where do dragons go if they die ? Cuz Ysera only got there cuz of Elune so I wonder if Alextrasza would die or Neltharion or Malygos
This is good, I hope they keep it up.
Galakrond was merely a setback.
