My guess is that the video is using small unit size which would explain the abysmall health of all single entity dinos and the weird unit size (3 and 4) on some of them. Doesnt explain the rest of the stats though
@@hydramasher6965 i dont know why CA does this, for most of the monstrous or wild factions stats for their melee units are just abysmal even though they should absolutely destroy most if not all the other infantry. Especially after WH3 brought in demons, all the WH2 factions were just underpowered. And because of. this modders try to follow the horrendous statlines CA created in their own units, its not their fault, but I wish they would understand. Kislev and cathay mods are great statwise, but most of the beastmen, lizardmen, greenskin etc mods are underpowered. And its all because CA made these factions way less powerful than they should be. Black orcs, bestigors and temple guard should be way superior to other elite infantry, with their melee atttack and defence in the mid 30s they get bodied in so many stat check fights. but look at them. they are insane. thats why like the SFO mod. Anyway... dont listen to me im just ranting.

Fortunately with the SFO mod, the landmark spawnings should become very powerful, since the mod buffs the Temple Guard substantially. SFO + Lustria Rises + Landmark spawnings + Coatl redesing + Arcanadon should be the ultimate form of the Lizardmen, and honestly, it's better than whatever CA could add to them

CA and games workshop creators of the lore and the ones who envisioned the lizard men to begin with somehow managed to disrespect their own creations give them lacklustre stats and a limited roster. It’s despicable especially with their majestic and powerful place in the lore it’s truly barbaric what they have done. Being the true good guys and the protectors of the world of sigmar and yet the elite of the lizard men temple guard lose to most of other factions equivalent units to them. With everything taken into accounts I think even with all the mods you mentioned with their image it still falls slightly short although being so so much better. The only faction that I think has truly been done justice through mods is Cathay partially through all the Chinese modders in particular deer24 who is an absolute beast. It’s just such a shame that each faction has so much potential and it is all neglected in the standard game, in particular beast men, lizard men and greenskins…

3:12 Is the single coolest thing I have seen in Total War, it looks like the animations were made to perfectly match one another. Now if they'd fix the small units swinging at air most of the time, and make synchronize the attack with stagger animations at least a little bit it would have been great.
I love these mods! I just wish the Lost Calm mod had a few creatures available as separate downloads. More than a few of the dinos feel a little redundant or look more than a little derpy. But I want that Thunder Lizard so baaaaaad x_X
@@Calm-n-NormalTime The Xholadocus' stance and animations make it look kinda wonky. Same with the Makopleuridon The Nautls are cute and I love them but they are kind of distracting to see among the other models. And the gekolo units and the units that are just regular dinosaurs like the t. rex, parasaurs, and raptors just don't really do it for me. And of course I can just not use them in battle mode. But in campaign I'm going to have to deal with other factions using them even if I don't.
I had been working on a new animation set for the xholadocus, but lost interest and momentum. As for the dinos you don't like being recruited by the ai, it doesn't sound like a big problem to me, not enough for me to change anything, just ignore them@@mechanicobra
I love every single creature, but the Gekolos, way too alien and weird looking for the Lizardmen. They would fit better into a fantasy offshoot of the Tyranids.
I think the Gekolos fit. Imagine them as the thunderwarriors of the Lizardmen. The Old ones prototypes to combat the worst that chaos had to offer, but stopped being useful so the newer Lizardmen took over.
It would have been quite interesting if he had been summoned by the slanns and his lore Let the protectors of the pyramids be something like the guards of the emperor of mankind and let it be a very select group of super Elite
Lustria Rises looks brilliant! I love that it fills in the more obscure parts of the Lizardmen roster. I especially like the Great Wyrm as an aerial dueling specialist!

First of all, that cinematic scene was so...(tears up still smiling) so beautiful! And it was also nostalgic as well! At first, when I saw those 3 Dwarf gyrocopters, I thought the Dwarfs were invading Lustria! But then, when I saw Gotrek and Felix (AN ICONIC DUO BY THE WAY!!!!) as well as all the big dinosaurs, I realized that those 3 Dwarf gyrocopters were just dropping off Gotrek and Felix to Lustria! I see that the beginning of the cinematic scene is an "allusion" to Jurassic Park. Also, allusion is a new word for you. I learned this word in English class. Have you? But then, I wondered "If the Dwarfs aren't invading, then who is?". And then, out of the bloom, I saw SKAVEN!!!! (screams of joy and excitement). I'm sorry about that. It's just that I love the Skaven as much as the Lizardmen, and that made me realize "OF COURSE! If this video is about the Lizardmen, then their enemies, the Skaven, should be in this video as well!". When the other Lizardmen units came into the battlefield, I shouted "CHARGEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" to the Lizardmen army. Man, what such imagination I have. Now, for the mods. And let me hands down just say that I was very shocked, surprised, and wasn't expecting some of this. Firstly, the number of mods, which is 7, is a lucky number if you ask me, but would've liked it (and not entirely) better if it was 8 and not 7, and there is a specific reason why, but I'll explain later. Second, the Snakes mod from 10:55 to 11:54 was really surprising, and intriguing. I mean, for Lustria, they have dinos, lizards, and even salamanders, but snakes?! That is quite odd, but it's a really good type of animal for a place called Lustria. You know, the Tomb Kings' snake units are big and can destroy any infantry unit, but these snakes are smaller and are more like swarm unit rather than just big monstrous units. If you like to make mods, you can probably make an overhaul faction mod with more Lizardmen units, but these units aren't lizards nor dinos, but they are these other types of amphibians and reptiles: crocodiles, alligators, turtles, python snakes, geckos, horned lizards, anoles, iguanas, Gila monsters, thorny devils (monster unit), monitor lizards, scaled reptiles, Komodo dragons, chameleons (MY PERSONAL INTERESTING FAVORITE REPTILE TO USE!!!), frogs (MY PERSONAL INTERESTING FAVORITE AMPHIBIAN TO USE!!!!), toads, newts, and caecilians. These are all good reptiles and amphibians to use. And finally, third, that mistake you just mentioned. I found it. It's your #4 mod on the list of mods you listed. In the video (and I counted as well), you had 30 units shown from the mod, but in the mod itself, the description said it actually had a number of 37 units, so you were just 7 units missing from the list of units shown in that mod. As for the listing of mods, that was an impressive display of mods listed here. But however, as I said in my last comment, I will make some mod suggestions for you, and this is also why I wanted 8 mods instead of 7. By the way, I looked them up at the game's Steam Workshop. Was working for me when I made this, however as updates come out some mods may not stay updated. Youll have to do the testing yourself of removing certain mods to see whats causing a crash.
@@MLGodzilla oh yeah the gekolos are rare, while your expedition convoy is out you will occasionally be able to fight gekolos. When you win against them you can choose to either get a few gekolos for your convoy army or have them be added to your recruitment pool

Some of the ranged units are very useful. Unfortunately, they are worse than Zombies at auto resolve.

We need some of theses units in Warhammer, like Gekolo prime, and Makopleuridon.
Use the Coatl's Viper face on the Tomb King's Sepulchral Stalker unit body, and you could make a whole mod for Snake Men/Naga of Khuresh!

Those you get either occasionally (like the gekolos) or via hitting certain goals (like doing enough live capture missions)
