There's this awful stigma around psychiatric meds that people who use them are "crazy." People can't physically see the physiology behind mental illnesses the way they do with medical illnesses, even though there's a ton of brain chemistry that plays a huge role in a lot of mental illnesses. Lol, people’s misery bring joy. That’s why people watch dramas and wants the tea. I dislike my neighbors being able to look at me while I’m relaxing on my couch so I’d just close the shade all day long. I’m a day-walker. 🧛♀️
So proud of you Feii! I know how difficult it is to talk about being on medication for mental health reasons. There's still duch a stigma about it. It's so refreshing to hear you say that you are doing better on medication and there's no shame in that. Been on meds for a long time now and I can honestly say the same. I'm better on meds and there's nothing wrong with that ❤
Listen a few years ago my next-door neighbors who we were friends with were going through a divorce and we didn’t know it. My mom lives kitty corner across the street from me and I was coming home from her house and all of a sudden we hear yelling and just nasty speaking to each other and I am looking at my mom as I’m walking across the street like a oh what did we walk into here. The next thing you know it he gets in his damn car starts chasing her down with it and he stopped abruptly so then she starts chasing him in the car and he had enough of it so he starts chasing her with the car again all the way into my front yard in like a big half circle shape she is now screaming at the top of her lungs, we have an electrical box in our front yard and at this point my kids which were 17 and 18 at that time so they weren’t young but we’re all watching from our front porch because holy shit they’re ruining my lawn. He knocked her over with his car and she jumped up on the electrical box screaming and calling the police. The screaming went on for quite a while until the police showed up but wow was that an interesting afternoon. Yes he paid to fix our lawn without even asking.
We recently picked up goat cheese from Costco and have been so obsessed. We add it to a spinach salad with strawberries, almond slices and poppy seed dressing. It's so good.
