Been shopping for nine months and haven't done one triple batch. They just don't make sense to me.
Excellent, excellent video! I remember my first double batch. I thought weโll darn, I could have shopped them separately and got done faster. After watching this, Iโm gonna shop the 2 smallest orders first, then do the larger order last. I tend to take way longer to shop if Iโm doing a triple and then trying to keep everything straight in a crowded cart. Personally, I wish IC would do away with triples. They can be a real time drain, especially if you have to go 10 miles, letโs say. I had stopped taking triples but lately I had to start accepting them again bc there just isnโt enough work otherwise. Thanks again for the excellent video!

I actually found this video oddly entertaining. I wouldn't watch a bunch like this, but it was nice to see what goes into an instacart batch. I think because I haven't done shopping apps before that's why I liked it. When I first started driving, I watched a bunch of DD/UE/GH ridealongs at first then stopped once I felt comfortable and learned what I thought I could from the ridealongs
You should try it. You make more money and drive less miles. ๐๐๐ป
@@GigTube yeah I've been seriously debating it. The hardest part in the city will be parking. On a quick delivery pickup I just put my flashers on in the middle of the street, but that doesn't work for a 45 minute shopping trip. It would be a bit of work up front to figure out which stores have parking, and also to learn the layout of each store. Might be worth it in the long run though
I think this is ideal on non high rise areas and only home deliveries.

I never do triples unless itโs 16 items or less. However, after watching this I will definitely try this. It never crossed my mind to shop each customer separatelyโฆthat way looks easier. When I have done a triple and shop everyone at once thatโs when things get confusing. Thanks for the tipโฆ..I enjoyed this.

I am going to use your tutorial on what to leave in the comments for customers to give five stars starting tomorrow and see how that goes it seems pretty cool how you did that. I have my own it's only about four lines long it's not near as long and as detailed but it's somewhat similar in a shorter fashion but to be honest yours is much better so I'm going to give it a try. The one I used I took off Google found it randomly LOL and it seemed to give me a lot of five stars and keep me there for the most part. With the exception of a few jerks. But I think that might actually do me even better
This is the first time I've heard of or seen anyone do a triple batch by doing one whole order by itself after finishing the others. I guess nothing wrong with that to reach the wrong but I just don't know about that. I do all three at one time what I do is put the biggest order in the big area get one of those little carts put it inside the big area use the top and the cart for overflow for batch B and get a whole another car to pull it behind me for the other batch if it's a big one too. If I have two small batches let's say A and B are small batches I can put one in the child part another one in the basket inside the main part and use the main part for the other one. But I've never thought about stopping and doing a whole shot by yourself seems like that would take a minute. But, I've gotten pretty quick at this I've been doing a 6 months and I've gotten my speed as low as 85
Did you have to scan or take a picture of the receipts? I'm asking because I have trouble with that. Every time it says the button for inter receipt I press the button and it goes straight to start delivering and I cannot take a picture of the receipts I'm wondering if you have to or not.
I don't have to take pictures of the receipts at Publix, but pretty much every other store i do. Try deleting your app and re-installing.

Itโs just a text replacement. Both iOS and android have these keyboard shortcuts. Google how to do it for your phone type.

It refers to delivery-only batches where there's a barcode on the bag. That way I don't have to have separate messages.
Hi Chad this is a good video on a triple order. Seems lot of work and pain in the ass. But you are a professinal in doing this so you kept your cool. I will be freaking out. Also customers would be upset on waiting so long that it is batched together on a triple order.
Not really. When they place their order they pick a delivery window not an exact time. Even on doubles and triples that took me an hour to shop I've beaten the customers home.

Today is my second day ,there's actually a few things I need to do before taking multiple orders , yesterday 1 got 1 customer ๐ and they had 24 items some items were heavy and multiple, which I was fine with but I was notified when I pressed start shopping by instacart that this was a online order and not under instacart๐คทidk !!
Anyway it mentioned I would scan a code and wouldn't be using my credit card from instacart so I was very confused๐
I definitely and very quickly learned a few things about the aisles and found myself going all the way back for other bottled multi pack drinks ๐ฎ
So lesson learned pay attention to the aisles lol and products ๐

So I got everything done and kept a good contact with my customer during shopping ,however I was told by instacart I didn't alert the customer when I started shopping๐ฎ which I thought when I hit begin shopping it automatically alerted the customer ๐คท so I learned that lesson and need to be sure I do that
When I went to check out I had everything very organized and noticed the cashier ringing up the items ๐ฎ ๐ณ so I said I'm so sorry I didn't mention this is instacart and there is a code I'm supposed to scan ๐๐ณ thank goodness it was just a couple items and they just started over ๐
Well the next problem was I had no idea where to find this code and I did have to exchange a item which I scanned and thought was already credited for 10lb bag potatoes wasn't available but was 1 5lb bag and only bag left which the customer wanted !!
So I scanned it as a replacement and moved on ๐
When I was trying to figure out how to get to this code that needed scanned I couldn't for the life of me figure it out๐ฎ thankfully a person that was working walked me through abd I noticed that the replacement item wasn't counted for some reason ,even though I thought I did what was needed ๐ also I still need to figure out how to get to the code as the person who helped me just zoomed right through which I appreciated ,but would love to know exactly how I get to these codes you use when not using the actual credit card supplied to you๐
When I got to what I thought was a house which was apartments instead๐ฎ I literally had to make 3 trips up 3 flights of stairs ๐ณ which wasn't easy on me ๐ฎ I took timed stamped photos of each load as the customer was taking them in after I got a pic then notified him by knocking on his door as I didn't want to just leave them while I was getting the rest of his groceries and let him know that I had at least 2 more trips to take ๐ฎ
That's really really rough and I do feel that the customer should have to meet you downstairs at the apartment entrance and help take their groceries to the apartment get a pic ,which with this order I didn't even see where I needed to take a photo but like is I said I did anyway with all 3 rounds just because !!
