Not to mention Instacart is taking our tips. I tell the customers i will not refund many items because they reduce our tips per item. I simply tell them whatever I don't ring up at checkout is what they WON'T GET CHARGED FOR, basically it's refunded. QUIT TAKING OUR FREAKING TIPS. I BELIEVE THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL BECAUSE IT IS NOT OUR FAULT THE STORE IS OUT OR THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T WANT THE REPLACEMENT
They are not taking tips away bud that's called tip% based on groceries cost it's a customer chosen tip option it sucks when u refund and you see that number drop but that's how % works you could always ask them to consider a flat rate tip but tread lightly if it's someone who offers 15% + on tips Some customers are pretty good at increasing tip post delivery if they seen you had trouble with the order
They been doing this since they started requiring shoppers to be in the parking lot the only difference is more people were ordering then. This year has been super slow basically forcing you to take trash but i multi app instead i wont take trash ever under any condition.
My thought is it's probably an algorithm that caps your weekly earnings and sees if you hit a certain amount it will give it to other shoppers who don't work as much or don't have that much money yet. I myself am getting uncomfortable and starting to move to other areas where rich people live. You have to go where the money is. I'm doing research to find the richest houses in a specific place 1m+. None of this 350k below house bullshit cause those people don't tip much. Most orders from them will be around 20-25 dollars. I'm hunting for 30-100+ consistently. So far I went to this new place and was getting +40 dollars 4 orders in a row so that's an improvement, was making 31 an hour from 3-7pm. But yeah probably the app is capping you so you don't make that much money so you can continue working for Instacart like a fucking slave. The same thing happens to me in my previous area. No orders for like 2-3 hours and than a like 70 dollar order drops. It always averages to 20 an hour, fucking evil people at the top of the food chain who have all the money.
I'm telling you, I'm feeling your pain. Not only does it get stupid slow sometimes but, even when there is orders customers are either out of their mind's or straight up taking advantage of shoppers with their 50 item 10 mile delivery thinking tipping 2 $ is o.k. like that shit ain't funny. I don't take shh like that but, you see them. Sometimes though I'll be sitting too long with no batches and, I'll take like a 20 item 2.5 mile delivery batch for like 10.50 THATS still BS like a mutha! I don't understand why anyone thinks it's o.k. to give someone 5$ to shop their damn 20 item food order and, use your gas to bring it to them. When you step in that store, unless it's 5 items or under , it's taking you 45 min. 20 items, shopping, checking out, bagging and, delivering is an hour of your time all together. Don't care how fast one can be; most of the time at least 4 of those 20 items ain't gonna be in stock so, now your stopping, texting the cust, waiting for response for replacement 4 times at least. So, it's gonna be an hour all together of your time. These people know it takes an hour on the average to do just smedium food order. So, if your a customer and, you think 5$ is o.k. for all that service your straight up taking advantage. Instacart only be paying 4$ and, shhh so, with your 5$ dudes working an hour for you for 9$. You want to work for 9$/hr? You don't go out to eat and, tip your server 5$ right? You be tipping the flipping pizza man 5$ right? So, why would you do it to insta shoppers who provide way more of a service. Shh just boils me. Sorry for the rant but, instacart is getting to be so not worth it. Their taking advantage of shoppers as well with their 4$ BS. With that and, custs on that slave dollar shhh it's getting ridiculous.
How long do you wait around on batches before moving to a suggested location? Because when I moved from one location to another once I get to this location it tells me that the other one is the hot spot!!! 😂
I’ve been considering doing Instacart, but I’m a little hesitant because of the insurance requirements now requiring commercial coverage. Any advice on working around that?
I’m in NC and the orders have been ridiculous lately, driving me nuts. I thought it was just me or my phone , kind of funny they do this after having us sign the new rules!
I would love to know how yall are getting these types of orders. I’ve been a shopper (on & off) since 08/2016. The only time it was amazing was when I first started. I’m now “Diamond” and I’m still getting the shitty ass orders as I did when I wasn’t diamond. I’ve NEVER seen more than $175 in one day and that’s working 14 hours. It’s disgusting!!!

Learn the store layout! Pick a store you feel comfortable at. Take your time at first, over time with more & more experience you’ll start remembering where things are & it gets easier ☺️.
Trying to be a shopper, but have an genuine question that as shown if you are being picky with the orders, and later pointing out for being in the bad shoppers list, as I know we all have to make a living with the money, but the shoppers who are having consistent orders could be possible that they are not picky with such. Correct me if you feel otherwise?
It’s just cause your account is new! Take orders that are low miles & a decent amount of items and climb up the tiers to diamond. Once you’re diamond you’ll have a better perspective of what orders are like in your area!
hello, i admire u as one of the shoppers doing instacart. i worked as a support, i would hirely suggest that you should put a goal like complete 70-100 batches (not order but batches) a week so that you'll become a diamond cart shopper and receives batches that has high batch like over $30 and above for just 1 order in a batch. i feel sorry for those shoppers since instacart keeps on changing the process, as much as i love to give all of you an extra bump but i cannot since i am just working also, it might lead to termination if i do that, sorry
I’m so glad that you also experienced the same exact things that I do. I don’t feel so bad now I’m sorry that you can do that have to go through that, but I started to think that maybe it was me but now I understand that it is shady shit that they do
I got a sturdy foldable cart at costco for 70$ like 3 weeks ago, makes all the difference on my time when i get bulky orders like those, or when i have to drag around cat litter 😅 Also, i got tip baited for the first time this week!! Always awesome to be abused like that by dishonest people

I wish u and Var weren’t just gig channels and do more stuff together like a couples channel with more stuff like: cooking, traveling, vlogs, pranks, gamings, Instacart funnyVid/Reddit reactions, hauls, workouts, mukbangs, storytimes, challenges etc that way we’d at least get more uploads🥲
Big Bells...ok, its bitter sweet to see that your area can actually be normal. i thought that yall was just in bliss over there with those good orders yall usually get. on the topic of the video, yes, they throttle folks and there's no real rationale behind it. now im between 2 wegmans. 1 where they allegedly use bots (i dont know how) and the other has teams of people working together and each of them have 2 to 3 phones. its a cold world over here

What is your star rating and shopping tier, speed and cancellation rate? Hiding/declining and not_responding/availability/inactivity hidden rate which will also go into their algorithm for their bot to process which ultimately will result in shoppers not getting orders or slave offers. A lot of hidden or nondisclosed factors that you do while logged in goes into what you get.
yeah i got myself banned from all apps once i sucked them dry out of all the money they had. Once there was no more money to be made i auto banned myself lol and moved on to another app out of anger and frusteration. I started with ubereats than hopped too doordash than after that slowed down and went from making 300 a day to 50 a day i hopped to spark now that's fucking dead. and by a miracle once i got banned on that my brother reminded me of instacart. That saved my ass especially in my state since the stores it uses are very popular.

Technically thats discrimination and these apps aren't bound to equal opportunity rights clauses.Everyone within an acceptable distance of the store should get the same orders and like you said first come first serve. And as we are using our time devices equipment and vehicles not to mention our own bodies for labour. We should have the right to cancel what ever we see fit without being rated. The gig app rating system is quite ridiculous. For example if they see many people cancelling for the same reason improve on the issue. Or if they see orders not being accepted within a dollar , mile , or quantity of item range. We are adults not kids. Is simply a form of control. Happy Driver/ Shopper, Happy Customer, Profitable company

My mom did shipt and the highest she seen was a damn $25 order, AND THAT WAS DURING COVID, does Connecticut really just have the worst luck with these apps??
The stores in my city have their own pick up and delivery service now. I see u we coming to just pick up groceries that the store already got ready. Instacart is slowly being pushed out of their own idea that made stores so much money
At least with DD you get consistent orders (even if the orders might be trash) On Instacart sometimes you'll be chilling in a parking lot for awhile waiting for an order to drop.
Everything seems to be the same for me….$300 per day avg. BUT you must change with the times. If you expect the same thing as 2020 before inflation you WILL feel a slowdown… I hope things pick up for you….good luck
That's not how the app supposed to go, the courtesy clerk supposed to fulfill the order. Your just supposed to pick up and deliver. They f***** my s*** up
Getting someone to help you with shops is against company policies. You re an INDEPENDANT Contractor and anyone helping you shop wasn't cleared by Instacart with a background check. Its not fair to the rest of us that play by the rules and do the big batches solo like we re supposed to
Not worth it you have to pay a lot in taxes. They do not pay for your parking tickets if you get a parking ticket. The most they try to compensate you with five or $10 which is not nothing. do not work for this company waste of your time and trust me a lot of wear and tear on your vehicle they contradict themselves. They do not have a stable, organized structure, unprofessional unorganized

They are not taking tips away bud that's called tip% based on groceries cost
it's a customer chosen tip option it sucks when u refund and you see that number drop but that's how % works
you could always ask them to consider a flat rate tip but tread lightly if it's someone who offers 15% + on tips
Some customers are pretty good at increasing tip post delivery if they seen you had trouble with the order
With that and, custs on that slave dollar shhh it's getting ridiculous.
bro.. just get your CDL..
@wealthylee9334 your right. I already stopped messing around with instacart but, that's a good 💡. Always in demand.
Don't tell them. It's only food or merchandise in your car. It's not ride share where you have human strangers in your car.
Yep I totally agree, you don’t need commercial coverage. It’s just groceries ☺️
I’m in NC and the orders have been ridiculous lately, driving me nuts. I thought it was just me or my phone , kind of funny they do this after having us sign the new rules!
Id assume there's an algorithm to which drivers are sent offers and which ones
I would love to know how yall are getting these types of orders. I’ve been a shopper (on & off) since 08/2016. The only time it was amazing was when I first started. I’m now “Diamond” and I’m still getting the shitty ass orders as I did when I wasn’t diamond. I’ve NEVER seen more than $175 in one day and that’s working 14 hours. It’s disgusting!!!
I love my foldable cart. Saves on your back. Trust me you'll feel the pain the harder you and older you are. Best investment ever!
Don’t show your phone anymore Bella Instacart been tryna take people vids down for copyright💯
What? For copyright? There own creators? There own drivers copyrighting them? That’s sounds off and stupid
@@thecurrencyacademylmao. It does sound stupid. 😂😂😂
😂
Instacart is wackkkkk
@@thecurrencyacademy Instacart sent out new terms and conditions that says they can deactivate drivers for showing anything in their app, I guess they've gotten tired of all the backlash they've gotten for those terrible batches they have.
we'll get these $60 ,triples [no-frills, loblaws] up here in canada. -makes u wanna tap
but then it gets up beyond 75, 80 85 items. a grinder, takes a chunk out of your mental~
by the time you first-click until the last final drop it would've chewed up 3 hours.. so netting below 20/hr m'eh. otherwise, it'll be these 9- 14$ ones but still not enough of them
I have never start instacart and never had grocery shopping experience.. how can i get better in grocery shopping when i start instacart in future any tips ? Honestly i dont have an job and dont know where to start
Learn the store layout! Pick a store you feel comfortable at. Take your time at first, over time with more & more experience you’ll start remembering where things are & it gets easier ☺️.
@@Bellpeppa thanks 😊❤️
What happened to tatvar?
Trying to be a shopper, but have an genuine question that as shown if you are being picky with the orders, and later pointing out for being in the bad shoppers list, as I know we all have to make a living with the money, but the shoppers who are having consistent orders could be possible that they are not picky with such. Correct me if you feel otherwise?
I find it interesting that comments are disabled on all their ads. What are they afraid of?
What type of iPhone and service provider you’re using?
14 pro max & Verizon
I usually restart my iPhone delete the instacart app and reinstall it every other day before starting my day work for me
What cameras are you using to film?
Go pro 9
I just started insta carting and I’m not seeing what you see. I’m in the Atlanta area it’s rough all I’ve seen has been $20 batches going 28 miles
How did you get the job in support?
I’m so glad that you also experienced the same exact things that I do. I don’t feel so bad now I’m sorry that you can do that have to go through that, but I started to think that maybe it was me but now I understand that it is shady shit that they do
I got a sturdy foldable cart at costco for 70$ like 3 weeks ago, makes all the difference on my time when i get bulky orders like those, or when i have to drag around cat litter 😅
Also, i got tip baited for the first time this week!! Always awesome to be abused like that by dishonest people
💯 the wife bought one and never used it... MINE! 😃 I only use for milti-cases of bottled water/sodas; everything else is bonus cardio 🤍 Tip baiting can make you lose faith on humankind, just don't internalize it....
Do you live somewhere where plastic bags are banned? or do you just prefer paper bags?
They banned them from the county I’m in!
I wish u and Var weren’t just gig channels and do more stuff together like a couples channel with more stuff like: cooking, traveling, vlogs, pranks, gamings, Instacart funnyVid/Reddit reactions, hauls, workouts, mukbangs, storytimes, challenges etc that way we’d at least get more uploads🥲
shut up
I’ve been shopping for Instacart for 4 years. I rarely see an order over $25. I’m in LA to
That’s crazyyy. I’m so tempted to go to cali & shop in different areas to see what it’s like.
If you're in LA and you rarely "see an order over $25" then it's probably your zone. LA is massive. Where are you working out of?
Big Bells...ok, its bitter sweet to see that your area can actually be normal. i thought that yall was just in bliss over there with those good orders yall usually get.
on the topic of the video, yes, they throttle folks and there's no real rationale behind it. now im between 2 wegmans. 1 where they allegedly use bots (i dont know how) and the other has teams of people working together and each of them have 2 to 3 phones. its a cold world over here
I will say I appreciate her showing her area does indeed have slow and low periods as well
Hi Bella, we appreciate your videos always quick question. Just wanted to know how Portsmouth Virginia is if you have any idea my stepdaughter just moved out there and was wondering how Instacart was thank you.
I’m not sure! I don’t know anybody there & haven’t been down there myself :(
Okay thank you
Hi there! I’m in Chesapeake just 10 minutes from Portsmouth! I don’t InstaCart out there… not great in my opinion.. Chesapeake, Va.Beach, and Costco in Norfolk is way better… in my opinion ❤
is this in florida?
In PA I’m lucky if I ever see batches above $50 few and far between and that’s even as a diamond cart chopper and I’ve been doing Instacart since 2016 and the same thing happened to me. I click it and I click it and I get it or at least I think I get it and it tells me I don’t,
Music taste is immaculate 🔥
Where you living..? What state?
What is your star rating and shopping tier, speed and cancellation rate? Hiding/declining and not_responding/availability/inactivity hidden rate which will also go into their algorithm for their bot to process which ultimately will result in shoppers not getting orders or slave offers. A lot of hidden or nondisclosed factors that you do while logged in goes into what you get.
Oh....that's just superstition 😆
This is why I multi app none of these apps Are the same anymore.
yeah i got myself banned from all apps once i sucked them dry out of all the money they had.
I click a good order and its immediately taken
Wow I wish I had seen this earlier cause I had the same issue, I didn’t see no batches pop up today and I’m sitting here thinking “What’s going on?” I removed the app from my phone, reinstalled it and viola batches pop up. Lol
Do you have a referral code?

They deactivated my account because the road to the woman was closed due to an earthquake and the road being closed off. And I sent them a bunch of proof of it and still deactivated. Joke of a company. Hope a better one comes out
Keep on emailing them over and over, keep sending proof if you have it. You just have to be persistent cause they’re annoying!
@@Bellpeppa oh I have trust me I’ve sent 40 emails, and with the proof and they said after review my account isn’t eligible for re activation.. did this for 4 years and over 5000 orders. That’s how they treat me smh
@@letsgomets07 look at the contract. you can file for arbitration
I notice the algorithm will show me orders I’m more likely to accept. Or similar orders I’ve already accepted for the day. Maybe you took some not so great orders now the algorithm is trying to feed you them batches. But I’ve been having instacart remove batches in my doubles and triples a lot. It helps cut down the time and not cater to non tippers.
listening to Var's music and i got the notification of your new vid 🫡
I love this comment 🥹🙏🏽
Can I use 2 accounts ? I wonder
You said you were on the app since early morning~3pm and on the screenshot says 3 hours on, also wtf 117 on tips but just 41 for batch… 😂😂
🗣️
Could you explain the numbers you keep mentioning as I’m thinking of becoming shopper. Thank you very informative otherwise ❤️
Hi bellpeppa. I got kicked of instacart for high rate of 16% cancelation. I reached out to TATVAR to see if he knows how to get reactivated but I haven't heard back from him. Do you have any advice? I'm Roderick or Rod from Richmond? Spoke to you one day up in sterling? TATVAR has my number if he has time to Holla. THANKS again and KEEP RUNNING IT UP! PEACE SISTA
Your best bet is to just keep emailing them! See what they say, if they don’t respond keep emailing!
@@Bellpeppa THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RESPONDING. YOU REAL KOOL
What car do you drive
2011 Prius!
I can’t believe what I’m hearing 😂 I just signed up for it and did my first order and it was like $10 😭 17 minute drive only 4 items tho, ik that’s bad but YALL ARE REALLY OUT HERE GETTING 40-100 dollar orders on a regular??? My mom did shipt and the highest she seen was a damn $25 order, AND THAT WAS DURING COVID, does Connecticut really just have the worst luck with these apps??
The stores in my city have their own pick up and delivery service now. I see u we coming to just pick up groceries that the store already got ready. Instacart is slowly being pushed out of their own idea that made stores so much money
The definition of insanity is working for Instacart. Best thing to do is cut your losses and let them go.
I'm a dasher. DD pays horribly. Thinking about doing instacart.
They f***** my s*** up
Not only are the offers crap, Instacart is using any excuse to short shopper's on payouts. They are constantly ripping me off, $2 here and $3 there.
Yea im finding out the hard way. I gave t been a shopper for two years n right now in may 2024 in nyc sucks
Getting someone to help you with shops is against company policies. You re an INDEPENDANT Contractor and anyone helping you shop wasn't cleared by Instacart with a background check. Its not fair to the rest of us that play by the rules and do the big batches solo like we re supposed to
😂 get a life
@@Jake-be9ji I have 1, I dont need to have people come help me with mine.
That's sad. I think all the customers should watch your video because I didn't realize it was a hassle for you all.
Some customers are super considerate 🫶 others not so much 😂
Not worth it you have to pay a lot in taxes.
I just got to diamond and I don’t see anything different. I made $12 last 6 hours. Smh all these ppl parked next to me nowadays
Some days I get orders from everywhere in a 10 mile radius, some days I don't see any the only thing that makes a difference is driving to hotspots or stores that use Instacart for delivery. Not to mention ive been signed out of my account since Sunday because of the outage they had and Driver support has done nothing but say "Sorry we'll forward it to our team" 😭
They are either hot or cold I swear 😣
Hey Bella You Should Try Shipt Or Roadie .. Shipt Pays You Like 10-20 And Roadie Pays You Like 25-45$
You should get a cart. It will save your back versus carrying those heavy IKEA bags.
It's been dead in my area for a year
I’ve been doing instacart for 7 years back in the days I used to make 1200 a month as my second job it was a good side gig. Now I get lucky if I make $400 a month.
They definitely make you work harder now a days! But any money on the side is good!!!
On wow. I make between 500 to 850 a week as a side gig.
I think with instacart they split the bangers that way everybody can see a banger sometimes.
No gig app is good since 2024

160 under 4 hrs is pretty good. I did 8am to 8pm on a Saturday in NY and only made 102 smh so not worth it
Turning your phone off doesn’t do diddly. Gig apps want their shoppers to be part time. 15 hours a week for all
How does an instacart shopper see a 20 dollar tip for a 200 dollar order 4 miles away?
Tell the whole thing. What's ur rating? Are u 💎 what's ur score. U.know if ur cherry picking their not gonna favor u.

I agree in Regina SK is sucks wayyyyyy to many shoppers. I do not know why they need to have that many ? Its ridiculous. Having this exact day!!! Nah this job seems like hell on earth

I made 25k in a day doing IC. Got a batch 1 shop and deliver 10 items, 12 units , 2 miles and pay was $2500. 😂
🤯🤯🤯
So after u got paid 2,500 u bet it on fanduel and made 25 k?
Are you shopping for those items or are you just doing pick up?
Shop & deliver
No offense, but you and your buddies seem spoiled. My area, Miami, rarely sees IC orders over $25. Instead of complaining, maybe be more grateful that you can decline $40 orders and make $150 in a shorter time. Trust me, its ALOT HARDER in many places
It’s not complaining, when we used to swing only great orders and then they have you just sitting in the car w no order or just seeing 55 item 77 units for 12$ of course we have an opinion about it
I'm trying to figure that out... I'm in West Palm Beach and $30 is like.. tops
had almost 400 last week and this week only two days good, and the last two days just ghost town but with like ones that pop up and just poof vanish the moment i click them. Weekend arriving so lets see how it goes.
