Sherry here: Andy, you did it again! you never fail to deliver... a fun story and a beautiful transformation. BRAVO!
Hey Sherry - thank you so so much!! So awesome to hear from a fellow furn-artist!! 😊❤️
This channel is the absolute best for satisfying both the “word nerd” and “diy-er” in me. Thank you for the MOST entertaining videos on the interwebs!
Wow, thank you Kimmie!! So happy to hear this is coming through for you on both those fantastically awesome levels. 😊❤️
I greatly enjoy your furniture fables. It's like therapy for me.
Oh wow, thank you so much Rachel! That makes my heart happy to hear. 😊❤️
It turned out Amazing. I love the back story on it too. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 😊
I love your channel because I love your sense of humor. And I do love your stories LOL this piece turned out beautifully and I wouldn't mind having it in my home
You are so clever and entertaining that I watch your shows even though I have no desire to refinish any furniture. But you make it so interesting and thoughtful.
Thank you Christine - that means so much to hear that!! My goal is definitely to be a fun, entertaining creator, whose content can appeal to folks just like you - not necessary into refinishing furniture! Truly appreciate your comment. 😊❤️
Wonderful! A beautiful outcome and a delightful tale. You are my new Saturday morning rendezvous.
I'm always happy when I see that you've put out a new video. I really love your style. ❤️
Andy! You’re the whole package. Wonderfully instructive and highly entertaining. Amazing imagination on ALL levels! I love watching your videos…they make me smile. Thanks 😊
Wow, thank you so much Rebecca! I'm so grateful for you comment - what a wonderful thing to get to hear. 😊❤️
You crack me up!! I love your original twist on video. Great flip and great story. 😍
You are THE most entertaining furniture flipper on UA-cam!!
Wow, thank you so much! That's really great to hear - I didn't know if folks would enjoy the lean-into-the-story-telling aspect, but I've been so happy and overwhelmed with the positive response so far! Looking forward to bringing more... 😊
I love your concept! You are so amusing, whimsical, and fun to watch! I am looking forward to part 2.
Hooray! Thanks so much, Cherilyn - that's so wonderful to hear! Can't wait to bring you Pt. 2...
Beautiful makeover! Ball worthy indeed! Thanks for the explanations and the cost breakdown that included your time.
Absolutely stunning!!!!! I love how you kept the integrity of the wood with a wash. Such a smart idea . Your voice is so soooooothing, that I could listen to you narrate for hours! 🥰
Best cleaning job I've seen on furniture yet, good job! Generally you don't need to be afraid of water & wood, and totally clean is so important. I love this piece, I could see why you might not want to part with it.
LOL, thank you!! Yes - if nothing else, the dang thing was clean! 😂👍🧼
That’s how I want to clean my pieces. Now that I see I can, I will. Most definitely wipe dry, in the sun. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
LOL I thought I was the only one who soaked everything in sight when I cleaning a piece.
I LOVE your music choices! So fun with the fairytale style 😊
Thank you!! That means a lot to hear - I really care about the music! 😊
It's so fun when a well-built piece like this comes your way either for free or pennies on the dollar. :) Their 'bones' are so solid, and ANYBODY can do the technique you just presented. Such a marvelous way to give new life to an old beauty.
Not only do I love your pieces, but as a theatre person, I enjoy your production values~! It would appear you have had some stage experience here and there...:) P.S. Your enunciation makes me swoon.
Wow, thank you! Ah yes - theater folk recognize theater folk, right?? And many thanks for the shout out for enunciation! 😊❤️
I'm redoing my 1st piece at 70 yrs old. It's a 100 yr old dresser. I'm sanding now but I'll be painting the drawers in a Rose Blush chalk paint & the top & base in the Rose Blush wash. I've already spray painted the ceramic ball pulls a Metallic Rose Gold. Depending on how well I do, the piece will either come into the house or stay in the garage. Wish me luck!
Wow Charlotte, that's awesome! Your design sounds like it will be beautiful...I'm betting in the house over the garage. 😊 Best of luck! 👍
I just love your story's and your furniture flipping also, your so entertaining in every way. Thank you for making me smile.
I'm so glad! Thank YOU June, for watching and for sharing such a lovely comment! 😊
What a wonderfully clever Fairy Godmother you are! The fable of the transformed princess is not only informative but ever so charming 😉
YAY! Fables aside, the color very much shines like a glass slipper.
Lovely. XXX
I can’t imagine moving from San Francisco to Arkansas. When I visited the US I loved San Francisco. Why would you want to live anywhere else especially because it is so diverse and interesting not to mention close to wine country. Excellent job on the table too.
Thanks Chanda! I believe cost of living was his main reason. I too love the Bay Area, however I think mentioned his new home he had just purchased in AK, which was large, new, in a lovely neighborhood, was about 1/10th of what he had just sold his house for here. 😅 And of course being close to family is priceless. ❤️
@@FurnitureFablesbyAndy oh yes, San Francisco is certainly expensive as I remember it but so lovely.
Very pretty piece! You have an excellent eye for choosing colors and finishes.
Your filming is so great. Thank you for taking your time and talking us through the process.
Love it! I think I will go to pickup this color for a table I am redoing!
Wonderful! Thanks so much for watching, and best of luck with your table!
My compliments to your director, producer, writer and above all your sound engineer. Really! Aside from your great craftsmanship, you have the best video production value on UA-cam. Thank you.
Wow, thank you again Mario - especially since all of those people are me. 😀
I did indeed enjoy both the story and the very happy ending!!! A masterful (or should I say mistressful) production!!😊😁
I do love your expert tutorials channeled through that dinner theater vibe. 👍
You’re fantastic. Love the table! ❤️
Great painting and beautiful results and very clever entertaining script, thanks Andy.
Shared on my Facebook page...
I enjoy watching all your videos while I am at home sick.
You make me feel better 😁🌻🌻
Oh wow, thanks so much for sharing that Kristen!! That makes me so happy if I helped in any way with the healing process! 🤒And many thanks for sharing on your Facebook page! ❤️😊
Oh my goodness! I could watch you all day ❤️❤️❤️. This piece is exactly what I need for our new 1989 home that is all peanut orange 😩🙄. That color will be perfect with the new walls. I can’t wait until part 2❣️
Is it wrong to watch these wonderful furniture fables first thing in the morning?
Absolutely not! - in fact, I believe the Fairy Godmother~Furniture ~Flipper would agree that would be a very sound and wise way to start one's day. 🪄🏰😊
An awesome exposure to, for many of us, the parallel universe of neutral color nuance. Not even aware of that universe I’d have noticed the cute pumpkin feet and painted them orange! Just what you’d expect from a former high school knuckle dragging corner back. The unit would then have sold for $1.45! Great Job!
😂😂😂 Thanks so much! And hey - don't sell those corner backs short...I hear some of them were actually "college material" after all. 😊🎓👍
I love that color! It goes so well with other Fusion colors. Beautiful job, Andi!
I agree you did it again, great job I love the table and your story that went along great job 👏
I so love the way you rescue these pieces, this one is so beautiful! You are my inspiration, I just got a mahogany side table and maybe I'll do this technique with it. Depends on how bad the finish is. Thank you for the time you take to save these amazing pieces and share their stories with us.
Wow, thank you Karen, what a lovely comment! And best of luck with your mahogany side table!
Hello from Georgian Bay, Ontario Andy! Just dropping in to say I enjoyed this table fable and well done lass! :-) Very nice result! Cheers! Mary-Kate
Just found you and love your videos so much I went back to binge watch from the beginning. You're so entertaining that even if I never do anything I love watching! 😂😂
Yay! Thank you so much Consuelo!! Such an awesome thing to hear - always an honor to be "binged"!! 😊
Wonderful actress with great woodworking techniques.
@@FurnitureFablesbyAndy you're most welcome. Always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Several times I’ve started watching one of your furniture flips and thought you were making a mistake. I’ve been wrong every time. I would never have chosen a console like that for my home, but your efforts made it so much better than I thought it could be. It’s quite beautiful and the pumpkin feet, which I heartily disliked, now look good!
I’ve noticed that your subscriptions are beginning to pick up - congratulations 🎉🎈!
Hey, that's fantastic to hear! Truly appreciate you taking the time to share that. And yes, I've been so blown away by the positive response to my approach! Many thanks for the congratulations. 😊❤️
What a lovely story, of a table's transformation by magical two toned paint! Super concept I am sure to use. Thank you.
Andy you are a one of a kind genuine talent! 👍👍👍👍👍. Thank you!
Oh my goodness, thank you so very much Candice!! Incredible to hear that, I truly appreciate your kindness! 😊🙏❤️
Wonderful! What a cute piece -- I loved the pumpkin feet! And the glass slipper!!! 😄
Hooray, you caught that!! Thanks so much, I loved those feet too! 😊🎃
I just found an 80's orange oak coffee table on the side of the road. I am definitely going to try this! Thanks for the lesson!
Oh that's fantastic! You are so welcome, thank you for watching, and best of luck!
Hi Andy this piece came up beautifully I love the one medium look and that particular colour is gorgeous, we have that exact paint the fusion is a lovely paint to work with too thanks for sharing all the best Mary in Australia 🌻
Thanks so much Mary! So nice to hear. Big wave hello back from California! 😊
So beautiful and simple! So...have you ever/ is it possible to alter the color of a stone table top similar to the paint wash, not using a solid paint cover? I think if anyone can do it, you could 😃
Thank you Liz!! I have never attempted altering the color of stone - although I'd imagine there are ways to do that. In theory, a paint wash could work....
Absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much for the inspiration and on-point instruction!
This piece came out beautiful good job can't wait to see you the next one
(fade in)...I absolutely love the "opening scene" of this video. The table is beautiful. Salagadoola mechicka boola...until next time. (fade out)
Very nice! Your skills, that tiny lip just under the tabletop, spot on! The Fable was great, too. I always look forward to seeing you pop up. 💕
Haha you’re so fun to watch. That was a really pretty finish. Loved it!!
What fun to watch. Your voice is very soothing. Loved your story and you did an amazing job. I would have thought that making that piece attractive was pretty well impossible
I can't believe someone have that away ,I wish I could get all this furniture U get for free .I love to bring it back from the brick of death .I really hate the idea of these beautiful pieces being thrown in the trash .This is one of my favs of your for sure .
Hooray, so glad you liked this one Aleisa!! Pieces like this are out there for sure!
Lovely! I love the lighter color so much more than that weird yellow’y oak.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS TABLE! I WANT IT! UGGGHHHHH MUST TRY AND GET INTO GEAR AND HUNT ONE DOWN AND PAINT IT UP!
It's 230 am. But I just had to watch your video before falling asleep. A nice bed time story. Thank you.
