It's not that they're not on because they will do normal content. Just extremes, savage, and ultimate slow tremendously. the tools arent moving your character around, you still need to remember where to go and when, i am not using any of these but seeing how large incoming aoes are is probably a huge help for bad players.

If anything checks out for me its getting kicked from this omega to p6 static when we see barely anything past p4 for a week straight. I got other shit to do than waste my time with half a group who is half asleep in prog. I thought you guys are cool though. Still doesnt check out for me why I get blacklisted by ppl like Ashley Ayane who make plenty of mistakes, make clear parties a week ago, and still havent cleared. I distinctly remember him saying something along the lines of "90% of savage raiders use splatoon" a statement that has bewildered me to this day. at least that top clip gave me some catharsis 🤣
Pretty sure that voice call was literally during the exact moment Larnce was streaming this clip in his Raid FC discord (where all users use plugins). Yes I do believe that 90% of PF ult raider use a trigger plugin. Just cus you arent using splatoon doesnt mean you dont use the exact same thing in a different form, similar to Larnce.
a lot of people do use plugins, that's not up for debate, but also to claim that 90% use splatoon? highly doubt it. generally it's just the more QoL plugins like extended pull timer (because why the fuck can't we see past 5 seconds) or something like that, plugins you can easily do without, but are just nice to have.

This is something I realized from WoW's over dependence on mods - they use this shit and the majority still can't clear a fight. It's because they don't really learn the mechanics, they learn to do what the mod tells them to do. Some say it helps with mechanics, but the majority are just using it to tell them what to do.

Idiotic take. XIV plugins are absurdly more powerful than WoW addons. WoW fights are also designed with addons in mind, and challenge a completely different skillset from XIV. WoW fights are much more reactive, the mechanics are more RNG reliant, and the DPS checks are way tighter than the average xiv fight. XIV tests your consistency and your ability to learn an encounter through time. WoW tests your reactivity and your ability to adapt to differences within a pull.
I'd love to see distance man. Even doing random dungeons and you wanna drop an aoe shield or heal, but that one black mage just standing all the way in the back, would be so nice to know when that player is also in range for the aoe.

Honestly, the guy is using some of the least offensive cheat plugins in that clip. Compared to what's shown here, cactbot is just as much cheating. That being said, all the plugins hes using here share repos/community with the big cheats like splatoon, rotation bots, autoduty, automaton, and much more. You can't install anything he has without having splatoon show up in you plugin list.
What is all of this "week 1 it doesn't work" bs about. Dalamud updates within 3 days max, has a testing beta prior to that and ACT/cactbot most of the time have beta versions 2h after the game goes live. If you think you can't cheat on day 1, I have very very bad news for you.
ACT and Memory reads both use the same injections, so until the day they ban ACT and all players using it, people are allowed to use whatever they want. Raiders just love to make up their own rules on what is ethical and what isn't. If the only premise for using ACT is not to talk about using it, then everyone should be able to use AOE indicators as long as they don't talk about it.
He might as well say he’s a badass since most people know the mechanics. The group just wipes because someone else fucks up. There’s no real measure of skill in raids on 14 and the ACT stats have plenty of variables behind them that don’t relate to your skill level.
@@IceboyMyName there’s other things you can do like auto retainers, auto market under cut, auto gathering, auto crafts and etc. this helps you to focus on the things that you want to do while ensuring that the things you don’t like to do still gets done. This type of bots aren’t exclusive to raid functionality. No idea why you think aoe indicators are the main problem here.
I mean, they /aren't/ allowed to xD it's against TOS. Doing it anyway is different than being allowed - XIV isn't going to hack into your computer to test for cheating mods. You get caught, you get the hammer.
