Would be cool to see his hover chair too (although that was exclusive to the first game) *-* The commander battle droid needs the head with yellow printing *-* The droideka should be remade with dark blueish gray and reddish brown pieces as the version in-game uses those colors instead of the originals (this will also apply to the phase 1 clone trooper torso which uses the older gray colors in its print) *-* The characters should have their in-game weapons instead of being completely disarmed *-* The clone swamp trooper could have a blue variant as an homage to the original game. I actually own a printed copy if you are interested in it (I'm also looking to liquidate my old LEGO collection if you want to purchase anything) Also to make the display even better, it would be cool to see custom printed circle tiles with each of their character icons. Great job so far! I can't wait to see the finished project :)
The game almost entirely used real life models for reference. Some exceptions. Fun fact qui gon and obi wans and a few other main characters figures are ripped direct from sets just white a white pigmentation instead of the old school lego yellow
On ebay right now theres a seller who has all the complete saga characters little icon pictures (when you go to select your character in game) on round 2x2 smooth pieces
han solo with black jacket and blue pants would be a great addition, i see the old style of printing with the normal blue or the dark blue color as well to be good fits
My favorite definently has to be Boss Nass. He looks staright out of the game, pure perfection. This is a really cool idea which i believe no one elsehas done. Where is the display case from? I'll be looking forward to seeing the final results
I've been doing this a little with lego battles :) so far I've got the: Imperial - Rifleman, Governer Broadside Pirates - Captain Brickbeard Wizard Castle - Crossbow Skeleton Alien Mars - Alien Commander, Laser Trooper, Drone Earth Mars - Gemma, Biff, Trooper, Commando, Gripley Pilot, Space Police, Space Police Captain The mars mission and brickbeard were the hardest, brickbeard features a grey hook which are apparently rare. And the mars mission figs all had to be made of mixed parts off bricklink as almost none of them had any official prints besides the white mars mission torso and the heads for everyone but gemma. I even got a few of the mars mission vehicles like clawtank (actually the reaper irl) and the switch fighter, hoping to get the transport ship in a bid tomorrow. My favorite part of assembling the mars figs was finding the trans orange visors that don't exist on bricklink and of the "heroes" the space poilce captain came out the best looking
Two of your battle droids are off. Security needs the older version with the red back of the head and the body piece that was paritally coloured the same as the limbs. Commander will need the old orange rear head piece and a custom torso akin to the security droid, but orange.
Good luck with the Christo figs if you need anymore. For some reason a lot of his figures are stupidly overpriced on the after market for designs that are super simplistic or designs he didn’t even make (like recolors)
It’ll be really nice to see this display progress! Do you plan on adding accessories to the figs in the future? I think it would make things look a bit more lively.
