I started watching this channel yesterday, and I'm favorably impressed. It's so generous with useful information while being entertaining. Paolo is so enthusiastic. I do wish he'd stand up straight for the introductions. I quickly subscribed. Keep up the great work.
Went to the #4 ramen place mentioned in the video, the food was great. Paolo's recommendations for food have so far been 2 for 2, some of the best meals I've had.The videos are great, especially the fact that he shows the entrance so I know where I'm looking for when getting dropped off. Please keep up the good work
I just wanted to say you are great. I love the way you break things down, Give price ranges and just always stay positive. Keep being awesome buddy. Cheers from America.
I was actually planning a trip to korea next year. But after seeing your videos... i really want to explore japan.. ur my inspiration for this tokyo trip.. thanks a ton paolo ..keep up the good work!
Paolo fromTOKYO Yes. In Paris, I go to Higuma and Saporo restaurants. But they are not specialized in ramen. But, those I saw in your video really make me want 😋👍🏻
Thanks for making videos like this Paolo, I've been spamming your videos since I'm heading to Japan end of May! And I really enjoy rewatching them as it helps me bring on the hype
Those were some very tasty looking ramen you had. I have never heard of the dipping style ramen, Tsukemen, before today, so I'll definately have to check out Tetsu. Thanks for sharing!
After visited Tokyo a month ago Im forever hooked to the ramens OMG :”) wanna go back and get my bowl of ramen, even the cup ramen/instant ramen tasted so delicious!!
Paolo fromTOKYO i would say the first ramen place nanashi but I’ve never had the dipping style ramen either so I’d def have to try that out. I love spicy so anywhere I can get spicy in general is great! Would love you to do top curry places!
do not eat pork ramen. pork will kill you. seafood beef or chicken. dont do it or fall for FAT pork. the white stuff is called pork fat. FAT white pork soooo FAT
They all look so good! I always wonder if you film on different days or if your stomach has no limit XD I love rice bowl dishes like Katsudon. Would you do a top 5/ top 10 video of those some time? :)
I love all your food videos. I've been preparing for our family trip to Tokyo next week. Do these ramen places accomodate a family of 6 with a one year old? Thank you for the super creative, fun, interesting and informative videos. They helped me with making trip plans.
Paolo fromTOKYO I like both with a slight preference for the hand drawn maps because that’s what I’m use to seeing in all your older videos but I can see myself also enjoying the digital drawn maps. The maps adds a touch of character to your videos and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Keep them! :)
Paolo, will you please consider showing us some of the sources of the local specialized foods & ingredients?!?! Like old school Bonito! The farms that have developed their own unique techniques to make their crops extra special! ALSO ask and find out what the employees eat food lunch everyday! My love of Japanese food, culture, travel, etc got started by randomly finding videos titled Lunch On! On UA-cam, and they stopped filming episodes years ago! You and your girlfriend are so cute and amazing together! I'd love to see you guys take inspiration from the best parts of other shows and incorporate those ideas into your own unique style! Keep up the great job guys! I can't wait to see what you'll come up with next ! Love and Best Wishes!
Hey Paolo, do you think you could do a guide for vegetarians and vegans visiting Tokyo? My husband and I are vegetarian and would love to know some of the good spots as we are coming to Tokyo in June! 😁
Been following you for awhile and wanted to know if you have any places that I can eat Ramen with a vegetable broth. Can't eat pork for religious reasons and I'm gonna be in Tokyo for a week.
I once had a surprisingly good vegetable tsukemen near Shinagawa station. I can’t recall the shop’s name (locals only joint-no English menu) but it is s few steps away from a small shrine/temple. Never thought veggies would be good for tsukemen but I was pleasantly surprised.
Not sure if you had the top/best ramen in shinjuku. I've seen your videos already and are very helpful considering one's itenerary when visiting tokyo. Will be visiting this March. Hope to try these recommended ramen reataurants in shibuya. 👍🏻
your videos are super helpful! i’m going to tokyo in july and i’ve been binge watching your videos and writing down all the places you recommend :D can you do a video about places to eat that are foreign friendly? as in, easy to order for someone who doesn’t speak the language because that would be awesome
Fot those who wanting an iekei ramen, Machida Shoten near Tokyu Hands is also pretty good. Also it is worth trying Chibakara near the Bunkamura Museum if you are a tonkotsu ramen lover.
Hi Paolo, thanks for this video, you just gave us more options to choose from. but just want to ask you, where did you buy your cool jacket? I love it! hehe
Your ramen videos make me really want to try ramen. :) How difficult is it for non-Japanese speakers to find ramen that isn't made with pork (or beef)? I've made a note of the vegetarian ramen at Afuri(?) but would love to know about some places where we can get really good ramen that is chicken or fish based. Thanks again for your helpful videos!
Paolo, have you ever been to Kasumicho Suetomi? :D was recommended that place, so I'm very curious, maybe you could make a video about it? It's in Tokyo :)
It's a bit bittersweet to watch these videos so long after they were made. I'm preparing a trip to Japan now and started checking these suggested restaurants and so many of them are not open anymore. I guess the pandemic was not kind to them...
Thanks Paolo, your videos are great, we are planning our first trip to Japan. Tetsu Ramen is so big, but it looks so tasty... it is polite if two people share just one?
You can download the map from my site www.tokyozebra.com/maps
I was wondering for Nanashi Restaurant, do they serve different meat options other than pork?

Runway Miyagi Try "Afuri". There are several places in Tokyo and they serve vegan ramen with seasonal veggies. ;)
Vanessa Hunnius thank you I'll check it out.
I once had a surprisingly good vegetable tsukemen near Shinagawa station. I can’t recall the shop’s name (locals only joint-no English menu) but it is s few steps away from a small shrine/temple. Never thought veggies would be good for tsukemen but I was pleasantly surprised.

Hi Paolo, thanks for this video, you just gave us more options to choose from. but just want to ask you, where did you buy your cool jacket? I love it! hehe
“Mmmm!! A mouth full of love!!”
Tetsu ramen was excellent too... it would be difficult to choose between it or kindenmaru. Even my boyfriend says thanks!! :)
Awesome! Glad you found the info useful Andrea Barcia! Also, cool that you were able to check out both spots.
please make more ramen vids :D
Your ramen videos make me really want to try ramen. :) How difficult is it for non-Japanese speakers to find ramen that isn't made with pork (or beef)? I've made a note of the vegetarian ramen at Afuri(?) but would love to know about some places where we can get really good ramen that is chicken or fish based. Thanks again for your helpful videos!
it is sad to know that some of them are permanently closed by now (Tetsu and Nanashi). Can you make the latest one? Thank youu!
Craving ramen now 😅
I am so hungryyy now 😢😢
Can you make a video recommending chicken based ramen instead of the usual with pork based broths?

same feeling
🔥🔥🔥
Paolo, have you ever been to Kasumicho Suetomi? :D was recommended that place, so I'm very curious, maybe you could make a video about it? It's in Tokyo :)

Thanks Paolo, your videos are great, we are planning our first trip to Japan.
Tetsu Ramen is so big, but it looks so tasty... it is polite if two people share just one?
Usually it's frowned upon, especially during busy hours as it takes a seat away from a paying customer.
Thanks, then we will try to go very hungry
