That was the best , cleanest , and creative way to demo anything . He played a few constant melodies at each setting , very briefly for me to get and understand what is the effect. I loved to rock hand for changing the setting to metal
@squirttilithurts yes, you're right, but don't speak about Diezel amps because it's just another level (and price is 4x higher). Line6 is just perfect solution to people who don't want to spend 2000$ on amp and have good tone and versatility. I wrote that they sound awesowe, but I don't expect highest quality of tone, because of price of this amp! For me Line6 Spider Valve is a leader in medium class amps.
man,go into the edit settings and set the vol on each one you use to halfway.once u set it,whichever channel button is lit up just hold it down an that stores that vol preset, simple as.just adjust the master for vol when you play an dont touch the channel vol.You will get any channel you use then at the same vol level, hope that helps
hi i am having a problem with my spider valve 112 when i have a preset or an amp model and i want to change to something else like (from blues to crunch or from the sweet child to sultans of swing ) the amp gets very loud so when i want to change something do i have to put master at 0 and then fix the channel volume ?
My amps not working!!!! I just got it today but no sound comes out! I tried the tuner, and it works. So my guitar is connected. But no sound comes out of the speakers. Why? please help
I have this amp and have never been able to figure out why the amp squeals unbelievably loud when I switch channels. I have to turn both volume knobs down all the way, and then slowly turn them up master before channel. If I leave them turned up and turn the amp off, the thing will squeal insanely loud the next time I turn it on. Any ideas?
My best guess is that after you turned both the master and the channel volumes down then adjust both volumes to a level that does not feedback , you then before shutting off amp will have to save the changes to the preset by press and holding it for a few seconds so that The changes are saved.
Hey bro, this sounds great. And I especially love ur devil's horn when switching the channel. I'm using a Bogner Alchemist and kinda tempted to get this instead since the Bogner is not my sound (too smooth and creamy, I need more grind!!!). And yes, I'm low on budget.
thinking about trading in my flextone iii in for either this or the HD100. not sure which one though. how loud does this thing get? like would you still be able to hear it in a jam sesh? my flextone is a 75 watt solid state and it could never scream loud enough with the jamming.
Nice practice amps, does it give you a nice tube tone? I have the regular one, all solid state for a practice amp when i can't play my MESA TRIPLE REC or warming up before a show! I think I like this one better cause it has tubes!
lol idk. I was just wondering if carpet make amps sound like crap lol. Oh and do u have to replace the tubes every month or so? how often? and which tubes do you recommend? Should i change the tubes myself or take the amp to a technician? please help. im new to tube amps and i just bought this same exact amp off the internet. thanks! im so confused xD
oh, but mine sounded reaally bassy and crappy right after i moved. Do amps sound worse as time passes by? I've had that amp for over a year. Would it be possible that the amp's sound got worse?
what was the volume to when u made this video lol. And does carpet change the sound of the amps? Does carpet make amps sound bassier? Because after i moved, my amp sounds like shit now. its so bassy. is it cause of the carpet or what?
Somone tell me some advice, Ok, so im 15, i play in my bedroom alot, but i also play stages differant places, So should i get this? OR the marshall MG 100 stack?
Lol, well it wouldn't matter anymore because I just bought a line 6 spider valve 112 lol. But I bought it online. It should be arriving within this week. Did u ever have to replace the tubes?
i have a line 6 spider valve and i have 2 complaints. 1: the amp is too clinically and lacks warmth 2: the way the volume jumps when you switch between presets is driving me insane. is there a cure for this problem?
Hello, I have the same amp as this and I never got the tone you got out of the clean channels ... how'd you make it sound that nice? how much drive, bass, mid, treble, presence, etc... did you put?
Try adjusting the channel knob. And i think its supposed to be like that. Some presets are really really quiet and some are really loud. It was like that for my spider 3. But I don't think the spider 4 has that problem. not sure.
@FREECHEESECOMPANY sure, there is a simple solution to problem 2: just set the presets in the memory of amp in the same volume level. Problem 1: use knobs :] Really, my blues channel is warm as real expensive tube amp without digital crap.
How do you play so good? how do you get those sounds? Are you one of those God like people like Eric Clapton? What kind of Veggies and meat do eat for dinner? Is this amp twice as good with 2 12's? And is it twice is good more by a factor of 4 would afford 12 cabinet? Tell me please !
Don't do that FYI. The circuit is tuned by Bogner for the 6L6 output pair. Messing with the design (unless you are skilled enough to know about impedances, loads, etc...) is likely to end up in a blown up amp.
As much as it is a good modelling amp, if on a budget look at stuff like the Blackstar ht series and ht metal series unless you go for the larger ones like the 50 and 100 most come in under 1000 for a head and cab or combo. Marshall and a few other Brit companies are the same. Worth checking out before buying a modelling amp if you want authentic tone.
I agree man,I got a line6,spider4/75 SS amp last year.It was what I could afford and I remember guys giving more cash, twenty years ago for a carlsbro glx80 which was a real piece of shit compared to my line6 spider. For the money, very hard to beat a line 6 for the amateur player.I really like the finish of them with the stainless pots.It does look like a more expensive amp than what it is although I prefer to make my own tone. Its a fun amp for amateurs like me.
no but it sounds a lot bassier now lol. I moved a while ago, and before i moved, my amp was on hardwood. now its on carpet and the sound is a LOT bassier. So yeah...I think carpet sucks lol.
Many just bash on Line 6 cause they've heard a couple of bad amps... I love the Spider Valve if you just sit a long time and play with it you can get really nice tones. Listen to my sound here, it's Insane Amber and I think it's awesome /watch?v=qLzeT7RWY6w
Blue Metal is the best for Metal/hardcore i have only one complaint about this amp in this chanel and any other with higher gain makes an annoying noise for 1 second in the end of any thing you are playing maybe whith a noise suppressor it leaves me play without complain sorry for my english i know im bad hahahaha
That was the best , cleanest , and creative way to demo anything . He played a few constant melodies at each setting , very briefly for me to get and understand what is the effect. I loved to rock hand for changing the setting to metal
this the best amp line 6 ever made!
@squirttilithurts yes, you're right, but don't speak about Diezel amps because it's just another level (and price is 4x higher). the metal and insane presets sounds surprisingly cool for a line 6 amp..
That's because it's not your average crappy Solidstate Spider amp this is a Valvestate.
I just bought this amp and have yet to try it out, but it sounds pretty good from this video....
You stated "Sorry for poor guitar playing" :) Dude your demo did showcase the various tone very well. Good job.
hi how to you set the volume to moderate volumes for the patches when i switch its very loud -thanks
man,go into the edit settings and set the vol on each one you use to halfway.once u set it,whichever channel button is lit up just hold it down an that stores that vol preset, simple as.just adjust the master for vol when you play an dont touch the channel vol.You will get any channel you use then at the same vol level, hope that helps
im thinkin to buy this amp, do you reccomend this amp, for a metal band, playin gigs up to 50 people?
looool awesome how you switch to metal ! ! ! :D
It's a Polish Jazz-Fusion band. Album is called "Time 52"

@TheeDevilWearsPrada did you plug the speaker on the back of the guitar? and did you try turninh the Master Volume up? and are the 2 switches on
WHAT?! I will replace the tubes after 2 years or sth. This amp is A LOT better than solid state spiders
Thanks for this video, sad the mic cam is bad.
lol idk. I was just wondering if carpet make amps sound like crap lol. Oh and do u have to replace the tubes every month or so? how often? and which tubes do you recommend? I have one of these amps my self but, Is there a place to use Jack headphones, i havent seen any so i doubt it is. :/
Were you playing a guitar with single coil pickups?
That's right! This video presents only the variety of presets, not the real sound.
oh, but mine sounded reaally bassy and crappy right after i moved. Do amps sound worse as time passes by? I've had that amp for over a year. Would it be possible that the amp's sound got worse?

Hello, I have the same amp as this and I never got the tone you got out of the clean channels ... how'd you make it sound that nice? how much drive, bass, mid, treble, presence, etc... did you put?
can anyone tell me whats better about the mkii(mk2) version of this amp?
cool, thanks a lot ! This intro is just awesome !!!
The sound from camera is crap, believe me - in real they sound AWESOME
lol nice. what does the presence knob do?
Try adjusting the channel knob. And i think its supposed to be like that. Some presets are really really quiet and some are really loud. It was like that for my spider 3. But I don't think the spider 4 has that problem. not sure.
Did you adjust the levels for each channel and save again?
what is the diference with the 212?
@kidrockyearrrh23 indeed you can, you can save up to thirty six of em
@FREECHEESECOMPANY sure, there is a simple solution to problem 2: just set the presets in the memory of amp in the same volume level.
Problem 1: use knobs :] Really, my blues channel is warm as real expensive tube amp without digital crap.
Is this amp good for home playing? Isn't it too loud?
I think about byuing it and it's important for me
I have this amp and love it...
Bonne vidéo sans blabla juste du concré bravo
HAHA, loved the horns when you turned to metal, Brilliant :')
did you play on insane some song of band pitch black?
Hi there,
the intro music is just awesome ! But i don't find nothing on internet on PiEr2 - Our Journey. Where can i buy this album ??
lol so ur never going to replace the tubes? xD Is this amp a lot better than the line 6 spider 3? or only better by a little bit
Funny :)
@@kamilkubik
Is there a list of artists presets?
Hello
Your video has a bit of noise, it is recording or amplifier?
Thanks
Yes i did all of that and still no sound. But im just going to go to a technician and have him find out wats wrong with my amp.
what does that mean? it mutes bass? it gets rid of bass? Does that mean it should be more treblier? lol xD
Hm, vol was about 3 i think.
Carpet?! What are you talking about? :P
have you tried different power tubes? looking to replace mine with 6CA7s
Don't do that FYI. The circuit is tuned by Bogner for the 6L6 output pair. Messing with the design (unless you are skilled enough to know about impedances, loads, etc...) is likely to end up in a blown up amp.
awesome !!

Blue Metal is the best for Metal/hardcore i have only one complaint about this amp

maybe whith a noise suppressor it leaves me play without complain
sorry for my english i know im bad hahahaha
@g14nnhs yes u should xD
6 old pence
This amp has "insane" for an overdrive setting. Lol.
my line 6 solid state is shit lol. maybe because its on carpet LOL!!
Yeah they suck if you want to sell yours get in touch with me on my email
Buy another amp
Amps the biggest piece of s ever. I own it... Dissatisfied customer.
why don't you like it?
Because he "thinks" it's digital... it is not
batmandeltaforce I like that amp, but it's a hybrid, still a tube or valve amplifier with digital effects that I don't mine, and saves me money.
No. Solid state amps sound like shit because they are shit :]
Bof...
