Good looking SQ8 and comes with a punch; V8 suites it very well and I love what Audi is doing with the new lights design. Very nice review!
Thomas my friend, I realize you will never see this but I wanted to thank you for your great reviews. I just purchased a new 2021 sq8 because of your reviews! Having a choice of anything including the rsq8 I decided that at this point the sq8 offered the best of all worlds for me as I won’t drive it at ten tenths much and the rsq8 would never be driven to its full potential, hence the sq8 was the best for me. I hope Audi as well as the other manufacturers realize that you actually are influential in choosing a car. I am a long time Audi fan but have had many others including to range rovers and a monstrous Mercedes cl55 amg. All have their pluses and minuses but I keep coming back to Audi as the best all around performer, my new sq8 will be my 5th Audi, not a lot in the world of cars but as a real user I think that says something to Audi. Again thanks a lot and keep up the great reviews.

In my opinion, this is a sport version of Q8 and the rear seats design should be sport seats as in the front. Great video Thomas 👍🏻

Well, the car was already seen plenty of times on the roads by photographers, but maybe you're just not following such pages which are looking for prototypes on the roads

I'm looking forward to first of all the facelift Q7 and latter the SQ7. This SQ8 surprises with the diesel V8 taking the Diesel Gate criminal charges against board members in to perspective. It's a bold move. As long as they don't lie I guess. But great review Thomas as always.

My wife works for an audi dealership, the q8 has NOTHING but problems! Some customers have even handed cars back for full refund. Wouldn't touch one with a barge pole.

Ok, now the Lamborghini Urus looks like an overprized Audi SQ8 to me.
Lamborghini: "Can i copy your homework?"
Audi: "Yeah but change it up a bit so it isn't too obvious"
The fact that Audi owns Lamborghini is showing a bit too much.
The SQ8 looks better than the Urus for me its less fussy but I suppose the Lambo needs to be more Mad Max than Vorsprung Durch Technik. I don't see the problem with the Audi Lambo partnership though.
No question in my mind that SQ8 is the best looking SUV out there. I loved the SQ7 Engine, so much power and torque, it sounded great too so presumably it will suit the sporting aspirations of SQ8. Maybe they should try a version of brilliant V6 in the RS4. Maybe a step too far to think of using the RS6 V8 TFSI though.
The rsq8 will get the 4.0 tt v8

It is an attractive machine the Q8/SQ8. As you say perhaps a better choice than A6-8. Like the seat color.
The starship Enterprise on the inside for the driver. System overload. Looking good. The engine specs sound like this could pull a train. Great in-depth review as one can expect from Thomas and team. Why/How is it there aren’t 3 full seats in the second row? Most cars now only have 2.5 seats! I don’t understand except as a cost cutting exercise. Whereas the Peugeot 5008 has 5 full seats and 2 occasional seats that pull up from the boot. If Peugeot can design and build a car like this why don’t Audi etc do the same? I know we’re generally getting bigger but the 'average' family doesn’t warrant losing a rear seat. I have a Mazda CX-5 and I’ve sat in the middle seat just to get a different perspective and look at the layout from a different POV, when I was deciding whether to buy it or not and after 5 minutes my rear was feeling the pressure and was getting painful. I feel sorry for families with 3 children because one is going to lose a lot in comfort. Years ago I had ma Renault Grand Scénic 5 full seats and two occasional seats in boot floor. That was nearly 20 years ago...
So is it just money saving that isn’t passed on to the customer or is there another reason I’m not aware of please?

Great review autogefuel. Its surprises me that Audi keep pushing the diesel engines unlike other brands but it's good for costumers to have more options. It is healthier( economecally 😁)

The SQ8 is a beautiful car. I wish that it was made a bit more affordable.
4.0l TDI is strange to see in 2019. I am so curious how two turbos and a compressor will handle after mileage of 100k+ km. Would love to see 2.0l TFSI+power-full electric engine here. As per design looks stunning.

Now the q8/sq8, Audi over designed the taillight this time which ruins the rest of the car. The long taillight works best only with black car, ok on white car, looks very cheap on all other colors.

Fingerprints on the pianoblack decoration is not good but you have the same problem with the touchscreens? I don't get it
L the screens have a Fingerprint resistant coating, supposedly making them less grubby than the piano black trim. But I’m really not sure how that works in reality.
I don't like the vertical elements on the grill. Other than that it's the perfect Audi suv, doesn't look like a coupe suv or bigger wagon. And finally a v8 for the S.
Very nice review again - thank you. I’m so disappointed with the disaster that Audi engineering has become with the fake (you called it “cosmetic”) exhaust system. It is UGLY and not worth of a USD100K vehicle. We have a Q8 at home and I cant stop hating it. You mentioned @3:45 (that’s how manufacturers do it”) would you consider doing a video to name and shame those luxury vehicle manufacturers doing this aberration of engineering and design?

@Dario Varisco Not this one, in my opinion. It is the strongest engine ever produced by VW. Supercharged and twin turbo. VW is trying super hard to build cars that people really want. If only their reliability could be better. However I believe they are rapidly addressing that issue.

When the window is down completely, open the door the window will go up a little bit automatically and when you close the door the window will go down automatically. What is the logic behind? Could you help explain?
because it is frameless, it needs to move up a little bit to close it completely when the door is being shut. And it obviously does that in any situation of the window

They tried but they said that it was overweight which caused it to understeer.
I like it! But please!!! Dammit! Car makers! STOP with the fake exhausts!!!! The fake tips look Fake and cheap!!!! At no point does that look aggressive, especially when you can see the ground and the detached exhaust that is not connected! WTH is wrong with these companies? (I am blaming all of them, Ferrari included!!!)

I love the V8 engines ,but Audi should have two powerful diesels engines, a V 12 diesels & V8 concerning models of Audi versions of Q series, but for Europe, Australia,Africa, America, Caribbean,.

The Q8 Looks really good. But, how reliable is this car? I've driven two BMW's 325i and x5, both were a piece of shit. Both were always in the shop. It was a headache spending so much time to get it repaired. Ever since, I never trusted in buying any German made cars.

Is it just the white balance on your camera being off or does this car really have blue headlights LED's? In the US it is illegal to have any blue lights on your car because it is considered impersonating the police. This looks blue enough to where I could see someone getting pulled over for it.
