    12mm T2.2 Meike VS Canon 17-40mm f/4 L on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K
Today I took some time to compare the Meike 12mm T2.2 cinema lens with the Canon 17-40mm f/4 L using the Viltrox EF-M2 MFT to EF speedbooster. Here's some test footage to check out the difference.
The clips were cut and graded in Davinci Resolve, along with using some Bounce Color LUTs. You can check the LUTs out here: devowe.com/best-luts-bundle-bc

The Meike wins hands down, however I think the lack and sharpness and the chromatic aberration apparent in the Canon footage is probably due to the inferior Viltrox focal reducer. A matched Metabones speedbooster will give a better result but suspect the Meike still wins.

Absolutely, I completely agree. The results I've gotten from using the Canon L glass with the Viltrox speed booster has been really decent and I could never justify getting a metabones instead. Thanks for watching!

Man you saved me some money. I was about to purchase the Canon, but the CA in these clips is terrible.
