    What draws me into your channel are the simple yet effective animations. I'm a sucker for those. Regarding this video, I appreciate you all showing the different looks of each 50mm. It's more of an apples to apples to comparison regarding the look.

    Great Video! But one thing you didn't mention with the EF Lens is that it sharpens a lot if you just stop it down to F2 or F2.8. You still have a pretty shallow DOF but a much crispier image.

    Awesome video. Seriously great all around. I knew all this info already and yet I still stayed engaged right to the very end. Production from you channel is on point! New sub, keep it up!! p.s. that talk at the basketball court (6:25) looked too good, if you hadn't walked in with the wide shot and run back for the flashlight "bokeh" bit I would've guessed green screen.

    wow! Big anamorphic shooter. Never really have the interest in renting higher end spherical. Always wanted to see if there was a difference in look between them. Blown away with how much of a look the Arri provided. Love it😊

      @SyrpLab  Рік тому

      Truly! I've been trying to convince the team to let me hire them for every shoot in the future... no luck so far 😭

    A key factor in cine lenses is that the look is consistent from each focal length lens in the set. This was obviously a greater concern when shooting on film but is still a huge feature for cine lenses.

    Just create a new channel man idk the reason but surely UA-cam is limiting your views, i mean what's the issue? Why doesn't this video have millions of views!!!

    So, in other words, focus on the story, not the gear.

    Obviously great pacing and graphics. But you barely show any of the sample footage comparing the lenses, plus lenses perform different depending on the aperture.
    I don’t really get what your going for…You’re teaching basics much of the time that is preaching to the choir to anyone with experience, but if you do have a viewer that is a beginner- you’re blasting them with way to much information at once. Each chapter probably could have been a video within itself.
