As a veteran with friends still in the military I can tell you that folks not getting the shot are being kicked out. We served to protect people's freedom but aren't allowed freedom of choice ourselves. Very sad.

My step-son served 6 years in the Marines and then has spent the last 10 years in the Air National Gaurd and was let go for refusing the jab. He now has a better paying job and a lot less stress. He would have liked to stay in the military but when one door closes, another opens. Let's go Brandon!

Are they showing data like my son who is now applying for disability due to the damage the vaccine did to him? He had the covid and had done fine.. but the vaccine basically paralyzed him for over a month and he still has difficulty walking more than a block. #FJB

Im so sorry to hear this. I pray he gets better soon. I took a new tetanus shot in the hospital after my daughter was born, they just gave it to me, I didn’t even know it until later and it took years to prove that I got damaged. I suffered the same long term consequences that many women suffered in that group and they where heartbreaking. At least I already had my daughter. I got a normal Tetanus shot later and that was completely fine.
I’d trust this vaccine much more if they wouldn’t act like this is the first medical treatment in history that’s right for everybody and has not a single contraindication but severe allergy. Although I already had a doctor suggest that I should still get the shot, just in the hospital, so they can immediately intubate.
Funnny how they think taking the dislike button away from showing the stats they think you will stop pushing it. Funny how there are a bunch of google extensions now to bring that back.

Great point ! Looking at the 500 pages of recently released research data that the FDA used to approve the vaccine there is obviously a good number of individuals that would have suffered serious adverse health conditions directly related to getting the mandated vaccine.

I'm pretty sure joining the military means consenting to all manner of coercion.
On the whole, I think this is a personal decision, but joining the military limits some of those decisions. I always took whatever shots were required including a plague vaccination for deployment to the Philippines and Anthrax for Iraq.

When I was a 1st Sergeant I explained to my Soldiers that they did not have to follow any orders I gave them, they just had to be willing to suffer the consequences for disobeying those orders. Nobody took me up on that offer because you learn better when you are in basic.

Anyone who’s served knows many of them are not getting this willingly but are being coerced. What choice do you have if you signed up to serve to start a better life, to gain citizenship, to get healthcare for your spouse or children, to learn a trade and start a better life? Many join for honorable reasons and the military has done a lot to take away people’s individual sense of dignity, but this is absurd.
They are being lawfully ordered to. That's what happens when you sign up for the military, you lose individual rights. It's how it always has been, and how it always will be. If you don't like it you shouldn't have signed up.

We have safeguards in place to protect soldiers in the event they feel they need to disobey an order. Throughout my 28-year Navy/Marine career, we were all vaccinated. We have an all-volunteer force, one joins the military, not a country club or a union. I have been through three wars and have operated in very nasty environments - I could not conceive letting any of my men operating in contaminated/infected areas without all the available protection, gear, medication, vaccination(s) etc. included. A serviceman that contracts yellow fever because he "avoided" vaccination becomes a liability for his entire unit. When one joins the military, there is always the risk that one will be exposed to a lot of "bad things", most of which very bad for your health, including war, vaccination should be the least of their problem(s). I cant agree with you more. But those tablets, shots and AO specific required medical actions work. My experience proved to me this is not effective. Took me down getting the shot and still went down when I ended up catching it a few months later for just as long as it did from the shot. And I ain't felt 100 since I got the shot.

No vaccine is "fool-proof" even the smallpox vaccine which led to the eradication of smallpox disease in the world. Take the vaccines that we give children "DTap/DTP" (and others); these vaccines are given at regular interval with booster(s) years later. Tetanus "booster" is given every 5~10 years depending on how "contaminated" a wound is. Other vaccines are not 100% effective, either because the bacteria (pneumonia bacteria) and/or the virus mutates/varies (influenza, ...). Some vaccines are "improved" over the years as we find out more about a specific disease/virus/vector. Polio (infantile paralysis) is/was one of those - this illness is what handicapped president Roosevelt who developed poliomyelitis at age 40. Depending on the CoVid vaccine, their effectiveness is 65~85% because the virus mutates (variants as you know). Some people have poor defenses (immunity) to start with, some people have received a dose of vaccine that had not been properly preserved/reconstituted, etc. Even if one is "immune", your immunity requires energy on the part of your body's defenses - your body cannot be at "General Quarters" all the time so with time, your antibody levels decrease until you get re-exposed to the "bug" in which case your body goes "GQ" and mass-produces the antibodies you need quickly since it already has the pattern in "memory". Also even with good antibody levels, you may be exposed to a massive dose of the viruses (say someones spits on you). Thiw viral load that you receive may overwhelmed the amount of antibodies you have in stock, usually for a short time while your body gears up - during that time though, you may get the disease (some of it) but bottom-line, you get it in a less severe form than if you had not had any exposure (disease and/or vaccine) prior. Finally, when dealing with live organisms (humans being one of those), there are always exceptions. I had mumps as a child - which was one of those childhood diseases that gave life-long immunity. Ten years later, I got it again! It took local doctors by surprise and I was referred to a university medical center. And yes, I found out it was rare but still possible to get it twice - I was one of those.
With the knowledge that we have so far (understand that this is a "new" disease like HIV/AIDS was back in the eighties), for most people, the vaccine is safer than to get the actual disease, especially if you are a person at risk. In Southeast Asia, I caught yellow fever despite receiving a vaccine that was not 100% effective - I got pretty sick (actually I thought that I would die) but I recovered while some civilian "advisors" who us, military people, had no control over, got yellow fever all the way to full liver failure and died!
Chances are that the vaccine did not get you sick per se, but even so, it is very likely that without the vaccine, under the same conditions, you may have been someone who would have been very sick or requiring a respirator.
