Former presidential candidate and celebrated consumer advocate Ralph Nader discusses Israel's war on Gaza, the U.S. presidential election and more. Nader's latest article, "Exposing the Gaza Death Undercount," can be read in the Capitol Hill Citizen, which he also founded. The official death toll in Gaza has been suspended at around 40,000 for months, as Israel's devastation of the territory makes it increasingly difficult to properly recover and identify the dead. Nader says that the true cost in Palestinian lives could already be "well over 300,000," and that "if the true count was known, it would devastate the mythology that the Biden administration and Congress are furthering, that the Israeli government does not purposely target civilian populations."

Israel still hasn't shown any real evidence thst hamas used hospitals as bases. Allegedly finding a couple rifles in a back room is not evidence of this. If those rifles were really found there, it just shows an injured hamas fighter went to the hospital at one point. Israel had control of the hospitals after executing doctors and staff, and never showed any entrance to any tunnels or base that was in the hospital. If hamas had these big command centers under the hospital, there would be entrances around the hospital. Smh. Israel accused hamas of this, because this is probably what Israel does over in there hospitals. Usually, the one blaming the other is guilty of the exact thing they accused others of doing

On the 7th, it is crucial to understand that there were no direct attacks on civilians, only collateral damage. Out of the 1148 total names on haaret dataset, 473 military and 675 were civilians.

When including all casualties, not just deaths, the collateral damage ratio of the "mowing" operations is a staggering 162:1

The 473 are - 55 soldiers, 13 privates, 59 corporals, 200 sergeants (45 of whom were sergeant majors), 48 commanders, 32 lieutenants, 5 lieutenant colonels, 6 colonels, 37 officers, 10 inspectors, 6 intendents, and 2 Lance Corp. This was a military defeat, and they are taking it out on the rest.
