For a taunt, a fucking taunt...good. Old comment, but yes, many veterans of DMC have said 5's BP is a joke, lol. But I will say, in my own experience as a skilled casual player, it is challenging. I've made it as far as stage 88. But in DMC4, I could only make it as far as stage 62 as Nero on a good day. 4's BP is a lot harder than 5's, imo.
I guess he's more used to rebellion's mid-air skill/combo, which is same as DMC4 and requires a SM style switch. I personally struggled with the 3rd sword a lot and went back to rebellion/sword of sparda.
@@aarongonzalez4 Was a wave of "empty" energy. This means that wave just you knockback or "light stun" you but doesn't do damage and parry it on separacted frames gives at you SSS rank. Kinda weird and pretty new mechanic on DMC saga but it's cool and very useful in order to active quadruple S skill and deal with it. Works on all bosses (Urizen for example) and even the hurricane of Golitah himself.

Since when royal block an explosion isnt fancy enough in a showcase. You have to royal release even at empty gauge.
Royal release is possible at any amount of gauge charge, it just depends on it for the damage dealt.
You just have to time it right.

In the next time, try to use more the SSS+ Attacks(FREE SIN DT) in combos...will make the fights a lot faster

Obviously gives at you the advantage to get not stunned and while there's the animation, you can deal some damage.
