Really hate the hpally changes. They felt like they were in a really good spot. Gameplay is fun and the abilities feel impactful without being overpowered. If anything we need a bit of a buff in M+. Then Blizz nerfs us despite us being middle of the pack at best
Resto druid feels so weird. All your hots are meaningless but you still need them to buff your regrowth. You spend a lot of time maintaining those worthless hots just for its mastery effect to make regrowth more powerful.
feel the same way. I feel like there should be more interesting hot mechanics. Rshaman has riptide + 2 talents that interact with it for more effect. Monk has renewing mists which jump around, apply the talent buff, interacts with Vivify. Meanwhile rdruid is ramping for 10 GCDs with hots only to do less healing than reactive healers like rshaman/hpriest. I wanna see more cleaving of hots (like Archdruid talent) and more interaction between your hots other than mastery. It has to feel good to apply and spread hots on itself, not just as a mechanism to do semi-good healing with Regrowth. The coolest hot mechanic was Adaptive Swarm imo, and they got rid of that for fun but kinda dead talents in serious difficulty. Other than that you have 1 or 2 CDs and they feel kinda bad in M+ compared to Monk/rShaman CDs.

Right now there's no reward and everyone just plays Shaman instead. Players should be rewarded for playing the game proactively. It's stupid we Resto Druids put in so much effort and doesn't even heal half as much as reactive healers with robot gameplay.
Huh? LOL. Are you talking about M+? RDruids playstyle has remained the same forever, you spam rejuv on everyone and soul of the forest wild growth + flourish on aoe mechanics. They just gutted it by removing photosynthesis and trying to make it more of a swiftmend spot healer. The entire class tree is a mess and RDruid will never be good.
You seen their plans for anniversary though? There's quite a few nice things but they're taking our talent that let us get a bunch of RSK resets away, they're toeing the cast-weaver line again.

I think the CJL and node changes are more meant for PVP players, but we'll see what it does to playstyles in pve. There are still those who insist on caster playstyle, for sure, which I don't quite understand cause there are better caster style healers than monk lol
As a Disc Oracle i am very disappointed, we clearly need some more AoE healing capabilities It's nice to put 5 to 7M shields until you have to press Flash Heal all the time to reset your Shield ...and see your mana bar going to ruin ^^" Definitely hit the wall with the 10 keys

I deeply regret maining Hpal. The game just punishes you for not playing the strongest meta healer (Rsham). The dungeons are already hard enough and we get 5% healing nerf? Rshaman is outperforming every single healing spec by a mile and they receive a slap on the wrist. Absolutely disgusiting. After these changes went live, I checked the overall ranking and damn, the highest Hpal is Ellesmere, barely hitting top 50 (~rank 43). Meanwhile, in top 20 there are like 16 Rshams. Good job Blizz! You are killing it as usual.
I mean, the most hilarious thing though is that the slap on the wrist on resto shamans, which it is, is ironically hitting where shamans ain't even at their strongest, making the minuscule nerf both a joke but at the same a potential annoyance in very specific circumstances, since it hits exactly the spec's weak spots rather than its strongest (this is especially true for the Earthen Harmony nerf)
Agreed hardcore on druid; has been my main for a long time now and it has gotten so burdensome to maintain when compared to other healing classes where it’s so much easier.
I really like the playstyle of rdruid too and started this expansion on it. But, doesnt matter how good you are, you will not be accepted into higher keys. Switched to rsham and my god is it easy to play in comparison, just drop some totems and spam chain lightning = win ....
So anoyed at more nerfs to Hpal, I stoped playing my paly after cata until legion and then again until now, i hate using your whole toolkit and barely keeping your party alive.
Aoe healing just feels like so incredibly op during cooldowns. I can heal the party's or the raids health multiple times in a few seconds with my cooldowns up. And you have to, because the damage intake is that way. And without the cooldowns, you're useless.
I was in this season too, because the shaman gave me advantages in the raid. But I'm crying over my paladin. It's just that he just feels bad in m+. At first I thought I'd give him a chance, collect equipment and especially haste, because I had really bad stats, but it just doesn't get any better...😢
I reckon that priest needs some pretty fundamental reworking. All 3 specs have just so many dead talent nodes, or talents that really should just be in by default imo. But I swear theres some determined anti priest conspiracy at blizz lol

as a high end resto dru....."No"...catweaving ???what is that??we are so GCD lockt and we don't have on demand HPS...all we do is run around spamming EVERYTHING just to have more hots up and play around with our mastery....and is stupid....i can output about 1.5 mil HPS during some long fights like NW second and 3rd boss...but ppl get clapped in 1 GCD,I don't have HP bars to push that amount of HPS...I just watch ppl die left and right from 100 to zero in 1 GCD...
Very happy to see them not do an aura hit on Pres as I've been loving Chrono but this is such a heavy handed hit to Consume I wonder if Flameshaper is even playable after this.

They’ve had no clue how to properly balance flameshaper since its inception. They messed around with how many seconds of fire/dream breath it consumes and what % of the damage/healing it converts so many times in beta. And it ended up being insanely overturned for pres and undertuned for dev, unsurprising
These devs are really clueless when it comes to tuning, the biggest problem with shadow priest was their pitiful dot dmg, if you buffed shadow word pain by 50% it would do the same dmg as a guardian druids thrash with 3 stacks lmao

Im a tank, my friend heals on holy pally funnily enough, we just started farming 9s for crests and neither of us are having fun in m+ which is all we wanted to play and after these notes I think were just gonna pack it in, tanking is stressful, balance changes continually dont make sense, maybe well try next season.
Hopefully druid will not be dead last hps in raid... Been so dumpster. Bad design changes at the end of DF. My resto shaman is so much easier & more powerful, my disc priest is the most fun.
And here i was hoping for some changes to Priest AoE healing, it is in such a sad state... i mean, we got a bunch of spells for group healing, they just do piss poor healing, even Sanctify feels bad to press. But i guess ill keep spamming flash heal and heal.

The master of harmony buffs are cute but the hero talent is broken by design. It's a overheal nightmare and the fact that one singular talent transforms almost the entire tree into roughly pure DPS to the point where you double your damage output in exchange for some little hps loss is absolutely crazy. The buff to the amount of healing done when using it on an ally is nice but sadly I feel that the biggest buff is the huge 30% all heal buff when the effect is on an ally. It will make stuff like revival heals an insane amount. It's season 3 tier set all over again where everything about it sucks but there's one raw HPs buff that is insanely overturned slapped onto it to make it usable at all. We will interact even less with the vitality gimmick and just use the buff to boost the rest of the kit. It's a shame because this hero talent could be so much fun if it was properly designed but they failed miserably on a few key aspects making it borderline unplayable.
Not too surprising holy priest isn't seeing buffs with how it is performing in raid and being brought for most fights, although guess they could have buffed prayer of healing and circle of healing. Resto shaman nerfs make sense though, they don't need raid nerfs and these changes really don't affect them in raid. also while shaman isn't the highest on damage it is probably the easiest damage possible to get out as you just drop the totem you were going to drop anyway.
I have haplly and rsham, and when i'am playing hpally in keys compared to rsham i feel like i need to do 10 times more to do the same rsham can do with 2 buttons, and now it's going to be even worse, thats frustrating coz hpally is my main for 10 years by now and i'am trying so hard not to drop it....but blizzard is just killing it once again
I hope they genuinely watch this and take feedback from it. Very disheartening balancing over the last few weeks that's left a poor taste in my mouth after what was a pretty good launch. Especially considering there's still bugs with healer abilities that need addressing. (Ex. Acid Rain on Wake and Dawnbreaker.)
The resto shaman acid rain damage is worded weirdly. It says "Acid Raid". Should that be "Acid Rain" or does it mean that Acid Rain damage in raids will be nerfed 20%?
Man, I played Pres all of DF and wanted to try something new so learned HPal. They've given us nothing but nerfs since I chose this class. I must have pissed someone at Blizzard off somehow.
Flameshaper had their fun for two weeks. Now it will be completely dead. None's gonna play a harder throughput(lol) spec, when spot-healing specs will now surpass it. Kinda sad honestly. Parses showed us it was balanced right in the middle , as the 4th most used healer in Mythic with: Complexity vs Reward being equal. The very best could handle the complexity and so reap the reward, while most couldn't.
I guess nothing has changed what Blizzard. Devs showing they have no idea what they are doing. I guess the lfr raids and follower dungeons the devs are pushing they felt needed change.
I agree that they need to redesign resto druid in some way. Outside of soul of the forest Regrowths, NS regrowths and tree form, everything feels so bad and 5% isnt enough healing. I know it's easy to make druid to strong if the hots can combat with AoE damage but a lot of the times it feels like putting Hots on my party is actually reducing their health.
They need to rework the druid class tree so it isn’t necessary to waste points in talents we don’t use to get to important nodes. But yeah, I’d like my HoT class to be able to actually heal with my HoTs.
Are people really play Flameshaper? I see only Chronowarden Builds. And that Holypaladin got another nerf is ridiculous when all know that shaman dominates m+
This is frustrating. I stopped playing after season 1 in dragonflight partly due to the status of h paladin. Just came back to play war within and looks like we might have the same situation.
This is what I call lazy tuning. Esp the flat % buff or nerf. I am a main retro druid while I agree with the first 8% buff few weeks ago. This % buff just seem blizzard is really lazy, this will not fix anything.
Yeah I tried to main my HPal this expac, but I am done. Blizzard are morons, because I am definitely not doing things 11% more efficient than every other healer for no reason This is so stupid. That consume flame nerf just guts the spec. Braindead take from Blizzard yet again, cater to all of the bad players who got mad that their class wasn't top parsing. I played Evoker this season because my main (RDruid) was turned into pure shit and now my Evoker has been nerfed into the ground. I can play chronowarden in raids but I actually enjoyed being able to carry my raid for once. There are also some very important tools that Flameshaper brings to raids like the renewing blaze ability that meets a lot of ST heal checks and people wont want to run it anymore since they completely gutted the CORE ABILITY of the fucking HERO spec. BRAINDEADDDDDDDD
I play holy paladin lightsmith in dungeon and is really fun and good, herald produce a burst of healing but 60% goes to overhealing which is stupid in order to play it you need to pair it with avenger wrath which is 2 minutes uptime, I go lighsmith with avenger crusader and can have 1 minute uptime healing dungeons means I will have my miniburst ready healing and not overhealing, plus the bulward and the sacred weapon is really good defensive and healing, and again, Disc priest is way better with oracle not Void weaver all themeta people are wrong on that regard, there is more nuances to the builds than have more numbers in details.

i think the overall gameplay didnt change that much for resto druid. applying hots and healing with regrowth was always the core gameplay.
And here i was hoping for some changes to Priest AoE healing, it is in such a sad state... i mean, we got a bunch of spells for group healing, they just do piss poor healing, even Sanctify feels bad to press. But i guess ill keep spamming flash heal and heal.
I don’t even press sanctify in M+, it’s such a dogshit spell since our s4 tier set was removed.

This will all change next week & the next all the way up to November 20th Anniversary! I am on a break from WoW till November maybe longer! I am playing for the main storyline & that is it!
The master of harmony buffs are cute but the hero talent is broken by design. It's a overheal nightmare and the fact that one singular talent transforms almost the entire tree into roughly pure DPS to the point where you double your damage output in exchange for some little hps loss is absolutely crazy.
The buff to the amount of healing done when using it on an ally is nice but sadly I feel that the biggest buff is the huge 30% all heal buff when the effect is on an ally. It will make stuff like revival heals an insane amount.
It's season 3 tier set all over again where everything about it sucks but there's one raw HPs buff that is insanely overturned slapped onto it to make it usable at all.
We will interact even less with the vitality gimmick and just use the buff to boost the rest of the kit.
It's a shame because this hero talent could be so much fun if it was properly designed but they failed miserably on a few key aspects making it borderline unplayable.

Not too surprising holy priest isn't seeing buffs with how it is performing in raid and being brought for most fights, although guess they could have buffed prayer of healing and circle of healing. Resto shaman nerfs make sense though, they don't need raid nerfs and these changes really don't affect them in raid. also while shaman isn't the highest on damage it is probably the easiest damage possible to get out as you just drop the totem you were going to drop anyway.

I have haplly and rsham, and when i'am playing hpally in keys compared to rsham i feel like i need to do 10 times more to do the same rsham can do with 2 buttons, and now it's going to be even worse, thats frustrating coz hpally is my main for 10 years by now and i'am trying so hard not to drop it....but blizzard is just killing it once again

I hope they genuinely watch this and take feedback from it. Very disheartening balancing over the last few weeks that's left a poor taste in my mouth after what was a pretty good launch. Especially considering there's still bugs with healer abilities that need addressing. (Ex. Acid Rain on Wake and Dawnbreaker.)
Typical Blizzard. Something that's good and fun gets a 50% nerf, something that's really bad gets 5% hope and prayers.

The resto shaman acid rain damage is worded weirdly. It says "Acid Raid". Should that be "Acid Rain" or does it mean that Acid Rain damage in raids will be nerfed 20%?
Also not like Acid rain is even working properly in every dungeon. Doesn't work on boat in Dawnbreaker for example...
Man, I played Pres all of DF and wanted to try something new so learned HPal. They've given us nothing but nerfs since I chose this class. I must have pissed someone at Blizzard off somehow.

None's gonna play a harder throughput(lol) spec, when spot-healing specs will now surpass it.
Kinda sad honestly. Parses showed us it was balanced right in the middle , as the 4th most used healer in Mythic with: Complexity vs Reward being equal. The very best could handle the complexity and so reap the reward, while most couldn't.
I guess nothing has changed what Blizzard. Devs showing they have no idea what they are doing. I guess the lfr raids and follower dungeons the devs are pushing they felt needed change.
I agree that they need to redesign resto druid in some way. Outside of soul of the forest Regrowths, NS regrowths and tree form, everything feels so bad and 5% isnt enough healing. I know it's easy to make druid to strong if the hots can combat with AoE damage but a lot of the times it feels like putting Hots on my party is actually reducing their health.
They need to rework the druid class tree so it isn’t necessary to waste points in talents we don’t use to get to important nodes. But yeah, I’d like my HoT class to be able to actually heal with my HoTs.
I am loving my MW in raids and dungeons, they are strong! Just wish I had some choice even though celestials is fun.
I’m hoping the complete and total silence on anything priest means they’re hard at work on a huge rework/revamp 🤞

This is frustrating. I stopped playing after season 1 in dragonflight partly due to the status of h paladin. Just came back to play war within and looks like we might have the same situation.

This is what I call lazy tuning. Esp the flat % buff or nerf. I am a main retro druid while I agree with the first 8% buff few weeks ago. This % buff just seem blizzard is really lazy, this will not fix anything.

This is so stupid. And it really sucks that Blizzard is making it so hard to do anything difficult with my favorite class. I don’t like my Holy Priest that much this season, so maybe I will just try tanking
And HPal was bad in DF season 3 and 4. So we have not felt consistently good since s2 of DF. Now we are going back to the bottom of the healer pile

That consume flame nerf just guts the spec. Braindead take from Blizzard yet again, cater to all of the bad players who got mad that their class wasn't top parsing. I played Evoker this season because my main (RDruid) was turned into pure shit and now my Evoker has been nerfed into the ground. I can play chronowarden in raids but I actually enjoyed being able to carry my raid for once. There are also some very important tools that Flameshaper brings to raids like the renewing blaze ability that meets a lot of ST heal checks and people wont want to run it anymore since they completely gutted the CORE ABILITY of the fucking HERO spec. BRAINDEADDDDDDDD

I play holy paladin lightsmith in dungeon and is really fun and good, herald produce a burst of healing but 60% goes to overhealing which is stupid in order to play it you need to pair it with avenger wrath which is 2 minutes uptime, I go lighsmith with avenger crusader and can have 1 minute uptime healing dungeons means I will have my miniburst ready healing and not overhealing, plus the bulward and the sacred weapon is really good defensive and healing, and again, Disc priest is way better with oracle not Void weaver all themeta people are wrong on that regard, there is more nuances to the builds than have more numbers in details.
