Seen the documentary, apparently there's 3 movies, first with Thor, 2nd with Daredevil and Kingpin, 3rd with modified version of Black Widow. So it kind of was a trial attempt at an MCU.
This show made me want to learn the piano after hearing The Lonely Man theme at the end of each episode. Joe Harnell's score for this tv show is timeless. This movie is one of my favs and it was Bill Bixby that pitched the idea of a tv marvel verse way before what we got in the present era. Bill Bixby RIP and amazing actor.
Please do more classics like 'The Godfather' trilogy , 'Apocalypse now' , 'Taxi driver', 'The Deer hunter' , 'Raging Bull' , 'Blade runner' , 'Scarface' and 'Once upon a time in America' .

Man I never understood the hate that movie got. I finally checked out the bootleg on UA-cam and the plot was better than any thaeatrical F4 movie we've gotten and the special effects are impressive for being 99% practical.

When I was in junior hi, I loved the TV show My Favorite Martian. Bill Bixby was great in that show. Fourteen years after My Favorite Martian premiered, Bill starred in The Incredible Hulk. My daughter was a toddler at that time and was enthralled by the Hulk. She would sit on the floor in front of the TV, waiting with amazing patience throughout each episode for Bill to get angry and turn into the Hulk. When those moments arrived, my daughter would clap and giggle and scream with glee. Her two favorite toys during her preschool years were her Tonka dump truck-and her Incredible Hulk doll. Barbie dolls were never on her radar. My little girl loved action!

Lou allowed the 70s miniseries to be good with almost no special effects. The CGI Hulk did not reach anything close to what he was able to do until the Avengers movies

Personally, I am very firmly in the "The Incredible Hulk TV show is one of the best things ever made", despite not even having seen most of it. Such a wonderful, human show, truly makes me want to be a better person. Anyway, do you want to maybe do more older superhero media? The Batman movie from 1966 is of course the first thing that comes to mind, but if I may suggest, the cliffhanger shows from the 1940's would probably be great UA-cam material. Nobody seems to really remember them, and they do have some big name heroes whom we still know, and some quite good stories. (Also quite a lot more not that good stories, it's a bit dated, okay?) Then again, this is coming from someone whose favorite Superman story is the Atom Man vs Superman from 1950, so maybe I'm not the best authority on what would be cool or not.

I was a bit young to properly enjoy the Incredible Hulk TV series, but the perfect age for the Hulk TV movies. I loved this one and the Daredevil one.
It's been a while, but I remember the DD one actually being pretty decent, with Matt working really well in the format.

This show was the superhero flick that made up 80s kids childhoods, so whenever I see a old post from before the avengers that was sceptical on the MCU I give them a massive benefit of the doubt

The 1978 Hulk show was actually great, it's definitely Marvel's best live action series
When the Ang Lee movie came out I was disappointed that they didn't use his "wife killed in a car crash and ensuing guilt" origin story. I always felt that made Banner more empathetic.
@@swistedfilms Well it was also an original origin story made for the show. For the movie, they wanted to make it more like in the comics.
