In jjk the risk of using a technique directly corresponds to the strength of that technique. That's why attacks with longer chants or charge up times like HP or furnace are so powerful. If red was instant it likely wouldn't be any better than blue.

That's kinda the point he's making. Basically sac blue/purple for insta red with no power loss. I'd sac something else. Like maybe teleportation or something that's less needed in a fight

​@@akeemsmith3096the thing being, sacing blue is a huuuuuuuuuge lose. It's gojos main movement option along with a powerful and versatile offensive option. That's not even mentioning purple, which is mechanically busted.

@@trithos7308 On top of blue's utility with being able to manipulate the environment to obscure vision, guard against attacks with debris, enhance his punches and maintain distance, and create lingering traps in the environment that can change according to different instructions makes it too useful. The concern here is damage considering red is at bare minimum 2x stronger than blue, I think it'd be better to sacrifice available imbuement capacity aka limiting how much you can charge red to go into a frenzy state releasing countless basic reds similar to dismantle spam.

I mean it does seem to be a frightening proposition though. Gojo did seem to have made the same kind of binding vows as sukuna when it comew to domains, but those seem more flexible. But permanently worsening some aspects of your technique to strengthen others might actually be a bigger thing. Because you are essentially limiting options overall to specialise your technique.

So he needs blue and red to teleport so prolly not but he could sacrifice a six eye or change limitless to reactive instead of auto. Or change his hand signs. Maybe a pre fire could work where he could load it up like Yugo did. Then hit a blue on the opponent to basically granted the red it which guarantees a purple. Bc the two combine right could be good 👍

Nah, he gives up Red for Hollow Purples.
Hollow purple is an imaginary technique that is essentially a mini black hole. ONE is "its RCT or death."

I mean theoretically Gojo could have sacrificed everything Infinity (Blue,Red,Hollow Purple),Six Eyes,parts of his body and all of his Cure Energy to evaporate Sukuna with a 200% Maximum Output Hollow Purple enhanced with Binding Vows (kinda like how Sukuna sacrificed part of his World Slash) if Gojo would have done that Sukuna would have instantly died but that’s not What Gojo wants to do a 1v1 and not just Nuke Someone to oblivion.
