    Our guest today is KJS Dhillon, he is a retired General Officer of the Indian Army. He last served as the Director General Defence Intelligence Agency and Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff under the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) from 2020 to 2022.
    In this very special episode, we spoke about the best aspects of the army, the reality on the ground, terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir, drone warfare & so much more.
    In an age where American Marines and their British equivalents are celebrated all over the world, it is crucial that Indians get to know about our Commandos as well.
    Thank you to all our brave soldiers, for their contribution to India! Jai Hind!!!
    Hindi Episode: • Pulwama Attack, Kashmi...
    As a podcast host, I feel it is necessary to bring out the stories of the army. Personally, for me, it is an absolute pleasure to host and learn from the people in the defense forces. Keep expecting even more powerful army stories on the show going forward. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

      @ThaLazyDesigner Рік тому

      Yes and No.
      Apart from the classic mass commercial kachra, we do have 3 very well researched movies in recent times. URI , Ghazi attacks and Shershaah. It's not going to be as accurate as a documentary cause to make a movie enjoyable, interesting and entertaining , you need to take creative liberties.
      So, if you are looking for a well researched military movie in Indian cinema then URI, Shershaah and Ghazi attacks is the answer. We do have movies like Border and L.O.C. Kargil, but they are highly dramatized and does not stay extremely true to the story. And then we have disappointing movies like Bhuj which are just downright GARBAGE.

    Bollywood movies aggrandize the Indian military unrealistically. In movies we see just the opposite of what really happens in the reality. It is not a secret that our army was not able to defend Kargil hills as some salwar clad Pakistani terrorists and army regulars grabbed more 140 peaks while our army was sleeping. In Pulwama, 40 of our uniformed armed soldiers get killed sitting in a bus while scores of them die in their well fortified army camp at Uri. 20 of our soldiers die in a hand to hand combat with Chinese soldiers in Galwan valley. In movies we blow sunshine on a unheard of Gunjan Saxena woman Pilot whereas in reality we see Abhinandan sipping tea on Pakistan National TV for being blown out of our frontline fighter plane and getting captured by paki civilians. In reality we clap for our departing soldiers on peaceful UN missions whereas in reality they hold a murky reputation as many of them deal in contraband goods, drugs and prostitution.

Lot of fake news is manufactured for 5hem to make them look good and viable since in reality they screw up big time. May I ask as to why is Pakistan, a six time smaller nation with one third of armed forces , is still a menace for us since 72 years. Isn’t Pakistan the same menace for us than it was 72 years ago?
