This is one of the best narrations. In my student days in 1988-90, I used to run the grounds of the Rajrif centre in Delhi and do the obstacle course. The jawans there were one of the best human beings and used to encourage us students. The memories of their warmth still brings a smile.. Jai Hind

My dad was a Col in the Indian army and was stationed in Kashmir. He was so well known by locals and the army men that he would travel without any escort and when stopped by a crowd- he would come out and instantly there used to be a comment -Arrey yeh to hamare commander sahib hain When he was posted out , there was not a single flower left in the Mughal gardens as the locals used flower petals to shower his motorcade!

This is one of the best narrations. In my student days in 1988-90, I used to run the grounds of the Rajrif centre in Delhi and do the obstacle course. The jawans there were one of the best human beings and used to encourage us students. The memories of their warmth still brings a smile.. Jai Hind

My dad was a Col in the Indian army and was stationed in Kashmir. He was so well known by locals and the army men that he would travel without any escort and when stopped by a crowd- he would come out and instantly there used to be a comment -Arrey yeh to hamare commander sahib hain
When he was posted out , there was not a single flower left in the Mughal gardens as the locals used flower petals to shower his motorcade!

Salutes to a brave stern Military leader who has such a soft feelings and heart. I literally cried when he mentioned how a mother celebrates the birth of child and raises the child and loses the 18 or 19 year old to terrorism encounters. My heart was filled with pride to hear about the operation mother to control and contain terrorism. Salutes again sir. You are a great inspiration to the next generation of India.
