Have you tried using liquid Skin Tac before? I put some on my G6 before application... if I don't use it, I run into the same problem you do with the G7 of it peeling/coming off on around day 4. Thanks for the great videos!
I use skin tac wipes on my G6 plus I try to keep the area as dry as possible and I don’t have much of a problem with peeling. I’m hoping to do the same when I start G7 (without using the overpatch) this weekend YAY!
Have you experienced signal loss?.....I did on the one I had......I went back to g6...on the fence about totally switching to g7 because of this issue with the signal
How about using some skin tac next time? I plan to cut transparent overlay tapes from post-op tapes, but using the original patch as a template. Thanks for the update re compression lows!
Can somone please help me. My 4 year old daughter just upgraded from the g6 to the g7 one major thing is missing. This is the repeat alerts. I can't seem to find them anywhere on the G7 receiver. Does anyone know where they are?
Have you ever considered wearing your cgm in the outer side of your thigh? Just a bit more above the knee height. I know it’s an unofficial zone, but I’m doing it since years (G6, Libre 3) and my values are perfect. Peeling off is no big problem since then.
I just wondering, I also have the omnipond on my arm, and for now I use the G6 on my belly but I would like to can it on my arm as well. The only problem that I had is I need to change my omnipond every 3 days and the Dexcom is for 10 days, so my question is, do to change your omnipond location to a different place?
Hi, I have been following your videos since BluCon and Miao Miao days and unfortunately none of these ever worked for us due to totally nonstable, nonreliable and effectively unusable Bluetooth connection with a smartphone. Due to the above I would like to ask about reliability of Bluetooth connection. Could you please provide some quick & dirty statistics, approximately how many times per day or per week and for how long at average you experienced loosing connection between your G7 sensor and your IPhone, and was re-connecting seamless or troublesome? Additionally, any insights regarding more specific launch dates in other European countries? The wait has been already so long that it is driving me crazy. Thanks!
I use the G6 (i’m Canadian). I have big issues with the waste the applicator creates. I asked Dexcon at a web seminar about this issue with the G7. They assured me it was lessened for this model. Hoping, so hoping you can tell me this is correct. Can you remove the magnet you described and other metal components so they can be recycled. I do it with the G6 but it involves me smashing/prying open the applicator! It is a very important issue for me.
Have you had any issues with the transmitter on the g7? My son has just started g6 and it struggles to stay connected to his phone. He is on the waiting list for the g7

I’m using the libre 3 now and would like to use the G7 if it ever comes out in the US but I’m worried that the smaller adhesive area won’t work. I really don’t want to use the over tape. The libre 3 stays on me for the whole 14 days with no help.
G6 user, with bad reactions to the adhesive. Do you find the G7 better to the G6? Regardless of my reaction to the adhesive, I find the G6 fantastic, and has made my life so much easier. I’m excited for the G7, but don’t apprehensive off change

Because of the smaller size there is less adhesive to hold it in place. Dexcom would encourage one to use the overlay because replacing a sensor/transmitter combo is more expensive then just the sensor in the G6. I'm an old guy so appearances are not a big deal to me whereas it could be for others. Is it the appearance of the added overlay the issue? I really don't understand the why not use the overlay when it is provided and solves the problem of it not staying on the full 10 days.
I use skin-tac to keep my g6 on. It also helps with my skin from getting irritated. I will see how the g7 works when I am able to get it in the USA. I am hoping the skin-tac will work on the g7 but i may have to use an overlay patch

I also use skin-tac (with my g6). Not only does my sensor stay on, but my skin doesn't get irritated from the g6 adhesive.

How was wearing the Freestyle Libre 3 for you? Did it stay on for the 14 days?
i was wondering this. it seems hard to use it with skin tac, i just put it directly on the g6 but with this one being inside seems impossible

Well my omnipod peels after a few days. I feel it’s cause the adhesive is it big enough. I wish it was a tad bigger

Has anyone measured the probe that goes into the skin vs the libre 1-2 or 3, I am curious how deep these goes in compared to those.
