Man when Illari says she would carry her burdens alone I felt that. It really reflects the burden Blizzard alone is carrying when they cancelled the real PvE mode they planned.
I liked the part where blizzard said " It's canceling time" and canceled all over the Overwatch 2 PVE. Truly a blizzard moment off all time.

It's most likely gonna be very similar to symmetra turrets but instead of damage, they heal. This was a scrapped symmetra rework idea

@@rachidow2125 Only 3 garbage mission chapters that have their quality removed, for next year players have to wait for the next set of 2 or 3 missions that have even more quality removed from it, the devs stated that starting next year it’ll take about 4 to 7 months for the next chapters to be release.

It will be interesting if the omnic skins on the heroes could refer to Null Sector creating omnic enforcers that could copy or match the heroes' abilities and skills similar to how Echo mimics her opponents and allies. It will be an interesting fight for the heroes to fight their omnic counterparts if used in future story campaigns. However, I believe it won't be the case for the Overwatch 2 story campaign coming out on August 10.
It’s be pretty cool if we can see that! So far, we have Ana, McCassidy, lucio, Kiriko, and Pharah for zombie related skins.

This looks absolutely amazing! A shame I'm not as excited for it as I should be. I love Overwatch! Ever since the beta days and have been with it for years, and I want to play, I just don't want to be disappointed anymore.
I know what you mean, there was a point in time when I was a really big blizzard fan, I played so much overwatch and hearthstone. But since a couple years ago it just hasn't felt the same, which stinks because I still do enjoy the ip's just not what the company has done.

As a new player, I'm curious about Hero Mastery. The Practice Range isn't nearly as effective as Custom Training Maps, which are sometimes more advanced than what I need to try a hero, so this would be in between those two.
Do some scratching on Overwatch and Blizzard's controversy and you might have second thoughts.

Idk if they’ll appear in invasion but we definitely know they’ll appear later from early trailers, there’s even an early scene that was shown at Blizzconline 2021 which shows Widow, Sombra, and a huge line of talon units lined up on Suravasa, which will probably make for a rlly cool mission.

@@momoreview5555 No its not, in the clip with Ana you can clearly hear she has new sounds which is exclusive to mythic skins. Wouldn't make sense to have a mythic skin for DPS characters 2 seasons in a row either (let alone a character as unpopular as sym)

The story missions have been so goofy and fun! I really wish they can continue the mission stories, I'm thoroughly enjoying them, and hope for more.

It's quite indicative of the state of the game that there was an entire segment of the trailer dedicated to the battle pass, like when the Diablo 4 team did a Q&A and mentioned the shop or the battle pass 50 times in an hour. That's where the focus is these days.
I love how 90% of the new support's gameplay was her doing dps. Truly the overwatch experience of all time

I love that they announced the OW2 Anniversary event because it will be the only one before going maintenance mode.
If they don't figure something out soon, that's what'll happen. The League is about to be kaput, players are fleeing, and the upcoming changes are just wack for the characters.

I still want PVE mode
Say what you want, I think the hero mastery challenges will be a boon for the game. There are so many people who ignore a lot of the mechanics of the game or just don't know the limits of the heroes they play. Having a training ground that highlights all the utility a hero brings in practical scenarios is way better than just a training dummy shooting range.
I'm really hoping that, there's so much more to playing a character than just learning what each button does. Might me there will be no more easy matches in the future though!
Yeah, I think I'll love this mode. It kinda seems like there might be fun challenges besides just being a tutorial.

I'm some how more excited for this season than I was for the release of ow2. I like this feeling I really hope they continue to make every season feel like this and less like season 3-5. I don't ever wanna get seasons like those again

yeah, they just don't have the resources to put anything out really, devs don't have the staff/budget for that. And going back to 3-3.5 month style seasons is very dangerous if you don't have enough strong content and really interesting stuff to pull players in or improve the QoL of the game.
This is actually not that bad, I agree. But honestly still less exciting than ow1 stuff. Probably more interesting because they actually are gonna add a lotta stuff, but it seems like to be mostly filler that nobody wants that much and they need to give us "something". (like workshop was truly exciting and useful and had a place. I hope Hero mastery is good enough to get beginners into the game faster so they don't have to spend a lot of time learning the ropes)
I hope the new maps are way better than stupid Push maps that are absolutely horrible, including the arctic KOTH map that is worse than HLC and Paris.
