Crazy that NED caught a crab and still won. Their destiny was literally written in the stars. No amount of training any of the other crews could have done would have been enough to have beaten them. Those 4 guys were born to be in that boat together at that time to win that race.
It depends on what you find exciting - a 10 second running race may be more suitable for you. For your better understanding, that time of 5m33sec was an extremely fast time for that boat class: The Netherlands crew were the class crew of the season. Chasing them, the closeness of the finish for 2nd, 3rd and 4th was "nail-biting" for all those with a vested interest in what colour medal / no medal outcomes were to happen for those three crews. And for the record, Germany usually have a say in holding a Gold medal in this event every Olympics. They were unable to even get to the final six in the world in this Olympics.

The best of the footage was seeing the Dutch crab and win anyway … the worst was seeing them all receiving medals with a muzzle on
This is súper boring

Do you have any idea how insanely difficult this? These rowers do not get nearly enough credit for their work and dedication.
Met Jack Beaumont. Held the medal. Great story. And how he made the Rio team too 4 years earlier. 'Nuff said
