It's always easy to ignore the little things until they build up and becoming overwhelming. Great video and perspective as always! can't wait for then next one
Oh yeah the Retro fox is sounding so good, love new mufflers, looks she is getting up the road real good. And yes
that B-cam is still talking $hit.
Video looks great as always, car sounds awesome. Thanks to you and the Mrs. For the care package that I received yesterday thank you so much.
You’re welcome and thank you 🙏
Nice! All buttoned up and chirping the tires. Love it!
That’s really cool your daughter helping you
She loves to help!
Awesome video as usual!
All ur videos get my attention n keep it lol.. man I really love the sound when I get mine up n running smooth again I'm going to check into that muffler.
Great video as always. 👍
Thanks for the video B.
Awesome sounds good!
Loved the video. Can't wait to watch it with my daughter tonight. Brings back a lot of nostalgia when I watch all your videos ..... thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this channel and your family 👏 ❤ 🙏
Thank you 🙏

@@BREW2LFOXBODY a small price to pay for salvation
I didn’t know the turn signal switch was that easy to do. Got an 89 tilt column for my 91 so this helps me understand how it’s in there. Thanks
I heard the reason for the engine coolant going through the egr spacer was to keep it cooler due to the exhaust gases being hotter than the coolant. You can get a thicker spacer usually on e-bay and as for the water tube I just cut and weld where the small hose goes and it makes for a cleaner look. Put a pipe plug on the rear of the intake at the location where the other hose was.
Hell Yeah!!!
Retro Fox Sounds Good!!!
Hell yeah brother nice ride mines almost there haha
Nice! From what I've read, the coolant is used to cool down the EGR spacer since the exhaust gasses recirculating through there during steady acceleration (cruising) situations is much hotter. Also, the 93' Cobra has the EGR and coolant setup, but it is part of the upper intake manifold instead of a spacer like the regular 5.0 HO engines.
Dump the egr if smog is not important.
Stop the exhaust flow into the spacer. Leave sensor vac hooked.
let’s get the facts straight ……
the 93 cobra DOES NOT have coolant flowing through the upper intake . 😊😊
I just did the clutch fan also. Wasn't to bad.
Retro Fox sounds really good 🔥
😎 sent mine down to you next year😄😄😄
The sve electric fan kit is actually pretty dang good
I drill another hole to release some of the throttle body spring and change the hook side also. It's now the same as stock .
That shop assistant helping you with the fan must be the driver of the pink jeep I've seen in your garage. Does it have a 5.0 in it?😉
I also noticed that the 70mm tb I put on my stock fox was stiffer than stock. I’m now looking for an aftermarket 19lb mass air meter since it runs rough during cold starts. I just purchase today the ect and act sensors like you said on your previous video. Hopefully that will do to make my fox run like new again.
Hey bubba, can I suggest that ya get sum lights that you can stick under hood, sum the shots are so dark
Early 90s Ford Motorsports has an HO deuce roller chassis at NSRA shows. Showed what smog etc could be eliminated easily and how.
Lots of people fighting simple things.
Running lean at idle is usually the main issue.. after HCI..low idle.. runs hotter than normal.. tune will fix. if everything is right. Another problem is leak timing cover/ water pump.
Could you use a phenolic spacer between the upper and lower intake, and get enough clearance to hook up cruise that way?
The coolant going through the EGR spacer is WAY cooler than the exhaust going through it.
Looks/sounds like retro is running pretty stout 👍
So that's what that is.... Lol nice man I did the same didn't cut just tucked em nice and neat
Aw man I wanted more details on the spark plug install, I got my 347 built and can't figure out how to get the plugs installed..😳🥺.........................................................
😂🤣😂🤣 just messing with ya man, figured that you could use a laugh or a "what the hell " moment 🤣😂
Looool I was wondering there for a minute 👀😂
@@BREW2LFOXBODY 😂🤣😂 Glad you read it and got a laugh, I like to throw in random ,crazy ,off the wall stuff for a good laugh 🤣 there will be more to come !!! 👍🏾🚗💨💨💨
So did the delete plate just eliminate the oem spacer with coolant running thru it or did it eliminate the egr also? If so do you just leave the connector to the egr unplugged? Plugged into nothing?

MSD Digital 6al with the plug and play 8874 harness makes plug gaps irrelevant. Also helps the cold start and cam idle, tune, and torque, bad gas, etc. JMO 😎
Loved the video! I've been trying to decide if I should order a bump steer kit and what your thoughts were on it, I'd love to see you do a review on the SVE or MM kit on the retro since we all have lowered foxes now days. Do like a before driving vid over some bumps and whatnot and then an after. Mine seems to "fall" into lines in the road and track back and forth at times. Just figured it could be a good video suggestion since they are only about 70 bucks for the kit.
I have one I need to install… maybe I’ll do that next week?
@@BREW2LFOXBODY Hell yea man! that would be awesome!

They help.
You'd be surprised how much tires affect the wandering and pulling.
Not all tires that are rated the same and the same size steer and handle the same. Major differences.
Diameter and wheel offset alters scrub radius and can make things worse.
Use what works for others. JMO 😎
How did you get your throttle cable bracket to connect to the delete plate mines also hits the heater tubes
Ole Retro starting to be a player!
Slowly… 😂😎
So is retro's heater core bad. I noticed it isn't hooked up
Why didn't you got to a electric fan? I've always have had good luck with the proform. Just curious?
Did you add a 75mm spacer and throttle body to a stock upper intake WITHOUT porting the throat!?
Do these performance modifications require a custom computer tune?
Do you know where I could get factory sized throttle body studs? I seen the one from trickflow but they include the gaskets.
What did you do with egr ,evr, and vacuum lines? Won’t it cause a rich condition with egr unplugged.
I remember why your fan was tore up I think. When one of the bolts backed out and let the fan go crazy and it tweaked the water pump and made it leak as well
Ahhh yes! That’s right 👌
Is that the same video that the cut springs fell out?
Did you leave the pcv connected to the intake still. Or did you put a filter.
Did you use an EGR simulator or just leave it unplugged so the ECU turns off the function? Thanks
What happened to the deflector?
did you have to get that egr plug delete??
You recommend gaping the spark plugs to .39 then?
With removal of egr how do you stop spark knock ??
noticed the 4 hole fan spacer got thrown around alot making that nice cling..sound...but isnt it not used on the foxbody>!!!
I’m pretty sure it’s used on the pre- aero cars. But I’m not 💯 on that.
Anyone know what Trans and gears.?
That seemed like a much better 1st gear than mine
What rear gear is in the retro fox?
They make the EGR delete that is the same thickness as the stock one. That way you can leave your cruise control hooked up.
👌true.. I like the look of the small one.
@@BREW2LFOXBODY as long as your ok tucking LOL
Don't you get a engine code now you deleted the EGR?
Sounded sweet! Could u tell a difference with the head swap?
Honestly maybe 30-40 hp
What do you think about the chin spoilers on lx mustangs in place of the stock diffuser? Do you think it will effect the cooling?
I love the look honestly. Not sure on the cooling effect though.
What’s the advantage or disadvantage of the delate plate? And did you plug in a resistor?
Nothing really. I just like the cleaner look.
Still waiting on those door lock knobs I see. LMAO 🤣
Me too 😂😂
@@BREW2LFOXBODY what did you say? I couldn't hear you cause of all the rattling.
Lol your the man brother!!! 🙏
Did you buy or build your garage? If you had someone do it, which company?
Company named ALL METAL built the shop
Desde España, yo un foxbody 90 lx 5.0 v8 video delete smog pump
"Alright guys, I'll get back with you when I get everything off the calypso....." just like my grandma and grandkids, can get the right name to the right kid to save her life. 😂
Did I get the names mixed up?😂🤦♂️ I did have to get the throttle body off the calypso to put on the retro. But I wouldn’t doubt I got them mixed up 🤷♂️
@@BREW2LFOXBODY then maybe you didnt mix them up. I understood the body on the bench for the retro, not pulling from calypso. Makes sense. Was just a funny comparison in my head. Too many cars or too many grandkids? Lol
How often should a timming chan be changed ? My car seems to have the unsetable timming...it either will turn over like crazy and might start and runs like crap...or I get it to start cold and runs good but as soon as it gets a bit hot..like 5 blocks..it has to cool down to start
unplug the mass air and see how it runs
really
@@hotrodray6802 don't have mass air..its carbureted
Nice video! What made you change the turn signal switch? I have no turn signals on my 92! Just wondering if that's my problem!
Do your hazards work?
@@jonathancorona1423 no, I think I need a new switch for the hazards. It don't click when I turn them on. Would that affect the turn signal from coming on?
@@frank3stangs They are sort of wired together in a weird way. However if you take out your hazard switch, check to make sure no wires have fallen out of the connector on the back
@@sav22rem22 yup, i had that problem and had to check every wire and make sure it was in the right spot and turns out that one of them was in the wrong spot. Unless the wiring is correct then most likely it’s the switch being the issue or the flasher
During that test drive that 1st to 2nd gear shift must not of hit as hard...your right-side speaker grill stayed in the dash
😂😂 I finally fixed it 👌
Man I don’t think there is anything about a fox you don’t know
Do you need to change the maf sensor after changing to a bigger throttle body? And why did you change the wiper/turn signal stock?
No need to change the mass air. My blinkers wouldn’t reset after I turned the wheel.
You don’t need to change the maf.
@@BREW2LFOXBODY my gauges go crazy when my headlights are on and turn signals are on, any idea what ls the problem?
I had the same problem it was a ground problem
@@fd-vy9up thnx I’ll check for loose ground this weekend
