  • Different then what I usually upload (which I rarely do), but I made it out of boredom. All I did was slow down the audio, add reverb, remove some of the bass, and add vinyl crackles.

    Of all things I remembered, even naw I can still smell the smoke from that burning city. As I forget my mother’s voice and children’s names, I still recall its cry of anguish drowning out the screams throughout the land. The beast too was a victim yet it could not stop its progress. It’s too great to forget. So as I lose myself more and more to this disease, it remains. In time, I shall be left alone with that monster that has scared the furthest reaches of my soul, along with the very real burns it gave me.

    i really like this but would like a version where the crackling is quieter or more subtle. i find it sort of distracting

      Apparently because Caretaker is just some poor guy who bought 3-4 jazz vinyl records, modified them by adding effects he didn't made by himself and then released them without crediting the jazz artists behind the records.

      @@oxideking3011 I see, thanks for the context. I'm sure if those artists were still alive, they'd enjoy knowing that they became popular again some 90 or so years later through the caretaker's sampling
