I think we have similar tastes in pedals. I have the Meraki and the Sloer too. They’re both great. I’m thinking my next video will be the Take 5 with these two pedals.
Great demo! I've been really intrigued by this one ever since it came out. Curious to see how it compares to the Deluxe Memory Boy and Vapor Trail Deluxe...
@YukiTheSynthDragon Yes! I don't have mine anymore, but I'd be very keen to watch that. 😈 If UAFX ever add an update that fills up the other two delay mode slots on that pedal, I'll definitely grab another one!
@@PedalExperiments I want them to come out with an oil can delay on one of the slots. Maybe a boss dm1 since that uses a ccd instead of a bbd. That would be really unique.
I think I’m going with the Brig. the price point works better for me and I don’t require an “authentic” analog delay. All of these delays sound really nice.
👏🏻👋🏼Thank you, I was considering which way to go. One question; is one the sides of the pingpong or fx quieter? Is there a way to balance the volume of each side?
It’s not technically less loud, it just has less repeats on the opposite side when it swaps sides. You could increase feedback on the side with less repeats evening it out.
I haven’t tested for this yet. I don’t really hear much of a bass cut though at least from the synths I have tried with it yet. But I usually don’t hit lower frequencies all that much.
I could never imagine paying 600$ for a delay pedal, but dayum that sounds amazing

Looking forward for the shootout with the Strymon Brig!!!
Really enjoyed this buddy, might have to out the monologue and get the MS-1
The monologue is still a very good synth !

Thanks ! I should try it against the dmm emulation in the starlight for some fun as well.

Nice color coordination 😅
Thanks Yuki. I've heard it has a hipass filter on the dry signal when the pedal is engaged, but sounds okay here. Can you confirm this?
