And conveyance of emotions. But I'm genuinely extra sensitive about music 😂 I've tried to get some friends to wrap their minds around this album's brilliance, Some have "liked" it, But not like me lol. I think a lot of more "normal" ears have a hard time adjusting to the falsettos so it sets them back a bit. Not me tho 🤣 when I first heard KD playing in the background on a radio station, I stopped in my tracks, walked over with my ears and mind totally glued, sat down and just listened until the song was over. It was "Arrival". For me, it genuinely was a profound moment of discovery lol.

The most BOC sounding /influenced album of King Diamond, and one of his best for that reason too, along of course with his diachronic quality and excellence in everything he touches. ;'Insanity'' brings me to tears, everytime I hear it, reminding me of when I was 14, listening to this masterpiece on freshly bought vinyl. The crimes of the Catholic Church of the era described in this album, delve on the unspeakable.

The fact the King Diamond and Mercyful Fate aren’t as big as Iron Maiden or Metallica or as acknowledged, is a crime unto itself
It's mostly because his falsetto voice is a polarizing "love it or hate it" kind of thing.

Damn, That ending line in The Trial gives me chills every time lol "can you tell me WHERE'S THE PROOF..? ? ?" It really is one of the most powerful questions (imo) anyone can ever ask regarding claims and assertions. ESPECIALLY, "extraordinary" claims..
Just brilliant lyric writing and story telling.
LOVE this album!!!! Especially “BURN”….favorite line, “THEY SAY THE DEVIL IS HERE TONIGHT, THEN LET HIM PLAY HIS VIOLIN SO WILD!!!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Behind these walls my favorite song \\m//
King is a countertenor, the rarest type of voice in the world. He is definitely my all time favorite singer!
Nah, he's just doing falsetto (pretty good falsetto).
Fake News. He is a tenor, not a countertenor. He uses falsetto, usually between C5 to F#5.
@@ElderDragonBrasil Yep, you're right.
Greatest Metal Vocalist on The Planet. Also Love Tate, Halford, Dio( RIP)🙏 and John Tardy in Death Metal.🤘
@@ElderDragonBrasilhis range is E1-Eb6 actually. And he is counter tenoring just not in the typical "rounded" opera style of it. Counter tenor's in opera use falsetto
A masterpiece. So many memories... all Hail the King!
Hell Yes.☝️☝️🤘🤘

Masterpiece! Thanks King, Andy, Snowy, Pete, Hal and Robert!
All hail the King 💎
Insanity and the curse my favorytes of this masterpiece album the Eye from the master King.wooow!!!
Insanity is my favorite track. It will be played at my funeral.
Super album 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
