I think that actually shows the character of both of them. While Tyrion knows that he was born to a very difficult life he does what he can to improve his lot in life, making hard choices and making moves on the chess board to turn the cogs of the kingdom. However Cersei doesn't have this self awareness of her own character. In fact this is her biggest flaw, arrogance and self-delusion. And though the final couple seasons were the worst of the entire show nowhere else is her stupidity more prominent.

I really love the line, “watching your vicious bastard die” because of its double meaning. To most people in the room the word bastard would’ve been just a curse, but Tyrion saying it to Cersei is like saying that Joffrey’s bastardship is one of the reasons he died, almost as if Cersei and Jaime were just a responsible as Olenna.
The real reason Edard died was because he had just discovered that Geoffrey was an inbreed bastard and had no claim to the Iron throne i feel more like the Gods knew this and started weaving the doom of the Lannisters which Tyrion wasn't apart of as he wasn't a Lanister ;p

Well he cared more for family name then Tyrion,... so even if he didnt want to he still had to act upon it.
Irrespective of the abysmal ending of GOT, in the end, Tyrion proved the statement of Varys, "power resides where men believe it resides", he was the true manipulator of power from kings and queens and princes. A worthy player of the game of thrones.

Why? Jon would be even less inclined to listen to him than Dany. At least Dany tried to listen to her advisors, Jon never did. This is precisely why Jon would never be a good king. I agree with Tywin about wisdom being an important character trait for a king. Wisdom is rooted in experience and learning from it, Jon repeated the same mistakes even after one of those mistakes literally killed him.
Bran is immune to politics. If someone plots to kill him, he'll know before they do.

Because the writers could not deal with his character and they were terrible at writing dialogues etc. They were more focused on great visual effects and action. By the old and the new gods, Bran felt like a villain in the end. One might think that he used his Greenseer powers to read the future and manipulate it in ways so that he ends up being King. He must have been the sneakiest player in the Game of Thrones ever.
He did not choose to be king. He was voted for. And quite frankly he was the most deserving one not only because how he knew everything but because of how wise he actually became toward the end. The show doesn't portray him all that much but we only don't want him to be king after seeing all the struggles of others. And the fact that he becomes king just conveys a great message that sometimes no matter how madly we want something it'll only end up to the one who deserves it and can make better use of it than others.
