It was hard for me to come to terms with all that happened in season 8 but I feel at peace now. This truly is the greatest story of our time.
Adam Allred I’m so glad to see someone say this. Ever since S8, everywhere you look that is GoT related there are people just bashing the last season. You’re the first person who has said you felt at peace. There is no story like GoT/ASOIAF. It is truly the greatest story ever told. The ending may not be good, but what makes this story great is its journey. And it truly is an amazing fucking journey.

for me personally its not the greatest TV show nor story of all time but it is one of the greatest - season 8 was a dissapointment but it was still good in my opinion. expectations were just too high (mine too) but i came at peace with the conclusion of GoT
Despite season 8 the show is one of the greatest things I've experienced and will always have a place in my heart, tough when I rewatch the show in 5 years I'll end it at season 6 for sure
Honestly when I think of game of thrones. The story hasn't even ended. In my mind the white Walkers are still coming, the north is still preparing, Cersei is building her army, and snow is falling. To me the end hasn't come. The end is what I make it to be. We all have our own imaginations. Its up to us how it ends; Because not every ending is the right one. But the best ending, is the one that moves our individual hearts the most. So go on and decide for yourself how it ended. Dont let this finale destroy your love for the series. Write your own ending. Make it your own ending.

If this makes the scene make sense that the scene makes sense. Everything used in the vid was used throughout the show, it’s not alternate editing. Meaning the logic makes sense regardless of if this was plaid before the scene or not. Use your damn brain for crying out loud.

they just needed to turn the last season into a series of movies
They needed to turn it over to showrunners who were interested in doing it for the 10 or more seasons it needed.. the very same ending could have worked... if they actually took the time to TELL the story like they did the first 3 seasons..

Gaming With A White Guy It wasn’t just the showrunners. Some of the actors wanted to move on as they had done it for many years. How many times do people leave TV shows to do movies? It’s not at all uncommon.

@@thisguy8106 All they needed was 3 more episodes, not 10 seasons, the people involved in this show were pushing the envelope of everything, and exhaustion was starting to make things harder.
The best part about this series is that each and every character was awesome all of them have a different kind of stories !
You can hate GOT S8 as much as you can but there is nothing in this whole world right now which could fill the gap left by this series. The time will tell that GOT has lifted the bar too damn high for the fiction movies... its not just graphics and animations, its characters, thier quotes and thier dialogue delivery thier changing loyalties we will all miss. I will always see GOT as GOAT hands down!

It is a good video. But one of the things that probably helps is that the film doesn't include as many scenes from earlier seasons that show how character breaking season 8 was. In order for season 8 to make sense one has to forget the journey GoT took us on in seasons 1-7. And even then it may not work.

I went to GOT live experience in CA last week, and I wanted to cry I cannot tell you how many times. Ramin Djawadi made this show so emotional. I loved every song and every scene tied to them. I will always love this series no matter the rushed ending. The actors and actresses gave it their all, and it was simply amazing. GOT always; House Targaryen. House Stark. House Lannister. Night's Watch. Wildlings. They continue to live in the fans.
Casi Zamudio the music is simply perfection!! I listen to it all the time. I am grateful for such an experience and the concert is AMAZING!!

I don't know which bit reminded me more of how season 8 screwed things up-Dany getting stabbed after the King's Landing massacre or Sansa talking about how the lone wolf dies when the Starks each turn into lone wolves.
An insightful montage that demonstrates how well you understand the themes of Game of Thrones. This show was not written as so many are, week to week, episode upon episode. It was created with a plan, an outline that carried it logically to its conclusion. Laying a foundation from the very beginning. It is a damn shame that the majority of the fanbase can not recognize how brilliant it really was.
I’m still pissed how they ended it....they need to make a part 2 and have John be the king beyond they wall and then come back and claim his throne

I got into this show about last year . I was super super late but never too late . The first episode on season 1 immediately grabbed my attention because of the walkers. I binged watched so much you guys don’t even know. I’m forever grateful for this show . It made me mad , it made me cry & it made me so happy . I don’t think there are any other actors that can play the roles of GOT as well as they did. Thank you ❤️

With the end of Game of thrones & Vikings I feel an empty void in my life. Sad as it may sound these shows were my lively hood from day 1, I wish I was trapped in an endless time loop watching them like it was my first time. All good things come to an end.
Everytime I play the last of the starks in my shower, I quitely weep in silence at what I lost, loved the characters like they were family. The show has left a pit in my soul that I don't think will ever be filled again.

I know season 8 was bad...but can't we just appreciate the whole crew for giving us something,for showing us something which we'll probably never forget till we die...The show as a whole was nothing short of an EPIC.I watched GOT for the first time during the Lockdown.I finished all the 73 episodes in under 1 month,with the last 33 episodes in under 4 days!
After I finished watching the last episode,I realised that shit GoT is finished and when you watch GoT your entire day,like 12 hours a day watching only GoT...it doesn't feels like a show anymore,it feels like something which we are part of.I was really upset when I finished the whole show,not because it had a very bad ending(which I upset about) but because we'll probably never gonna see anything like that,the cast,the dialogues,the action scene all were so perfectly crafted that it will take years to have a show of this calibre.
If "The Dark Knight" is the ultimate SUPERHERO Movie then "Game of Thrones" is the ultimate TV Show!
