My job sent me to Newburgh three times. I met politicians and stopped for lunch at places. I (white guy) was treated very well and never felt uneasy. The waterfront area is beautiful. The sentiment was they're problems but a desire to correct and improve them.
Newburgh is changing and no longer deserves to be called "dangerous". In fact, I feel like you selectively avoided including blocks where many houses and buildings are getting renovated. There are more and more people day-tripping up to Newburgh from NYC. We have incredible historic sites, like General Washington's HQ. Plus, you avoided the magnificent waterfront on the Hudson River completely. Come back to Newburgh and shoot a more realistic video. And get out of your car and walk the neighborhood.

The waterfront is very beautiful! At one point so was Newburgh!
It's just amazing all small cities are very dangerous today because of no jobs high cost of living and different people moving in 😮

Truth. You wouldn’t necessarily think Fargo, ND, has issues, but 10th Street near NP Avenue and downtown is not a great strip to hang out at night.
