- Hailing from the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, the electronic pop duo consists of Dylan Brady and Laura Les. Laura attributes the band’s eclectic style to the two having grown up on the Internet. In our Skullcandy interview, she references discovering secret Pokemon videos soundtracked by Nightcore songs, a genre she simply describes as “sped up songs with high-pitched vocals.” It’s not a bad description for 100 Gecs either.

y’all are being weird an interview is not gonna be as casual as conversation between good friends. The interviewer is doing his best to give them incentive to elaborate about themselves and they seem to be a bit reserved as people. Nothing wrong with it and it’s not that awkward lol.

The interviewer is on the *surface* kinda what i expect of a regular radio interviewer but also kinda feels like an interrogator trying really hard to be "good cop" what with his posture and whole controlling the conversation thing. Like, they're probably high af and some of the conversational guidance helps in that state, but he cuts off answers to get to the next question and when he finally gets them to warm up a lil more, he seems to make shit weird again for them.
