Kurt Geiger Jewel Tone XXL Kensington Unboxing: Did I need 2 XXL's? Quality Issues??

Thanks so much for stopping by! This video was recorded earlier this year. After getting the original XXL I needed a second one! I was hoping that the Jewel tone bag had better wear and tear and realized after a week of continuous wear that the answer was NO! The wear on the jewel tone is also trash! Again I like the aesthetic so I was okay with taking the risk. I think that the large Kurt Geiger metallic leather bags dont hold up well to any type of wear. The color will rub off. All 4 corners of my Jewel toned bag have rubbed off a bit.
I still enjoy wearing both bags, but if you are considering these bags, be sure to try to get on sale and prepare for the corners to wear quickly

ooh, that jewel tone colorway is so gorgeous. I actually kinda think the difference in the size of the eagle head perfectly fits the personalities of the two bags.

The Kensington Sunset in this size is striking. I thought the smaller bag was beautiful, but this is definitely a stand out piece.
Edited to ask….have you seen the rainbow denim Kensington?👀👀👀 I just shred it on the community board. I almost grabbed the small one today. Still considering it.
Oh I have to check out the Sunset! I love this huge size!! Quality for the metallic leather is not great. And Yes I say the rainbow denim! It is super cute. I love the color way of all the pastels. I dont love the fringe I want it to be smooth

How is the metallic coating wearing on the bags? I just bought the XXL brighter rainbow one off a seller on Vinted second hand for £40 and it only had a tiny little bit of metallic wear on the yellow edge on the flap. The rest of the metallic coating is currently perfect. For £40 I’m not too worried if it wears off but will definitely be treating it with care to minimise the wear. Love the darker tone rainbow one 🥰
First off you got an AMAZING deal!!!! Second, the only part peeling for me on this bag is the yellow part. The other parts are still holding up. On the other bag in the video, I wore that one for a weekend and the corners are shot. Like all of the metallic gone from the corners lol
I couldn’t leave it there for £40. Vinted verified that it was genuine too so was very lucky to get it at such a bargain price. Yeah mine seems to be just a tiny bit of yellow slightly wearing on the edge of the bag flap. I’m just going to enjoy wearing it and not worry too much. I managed to get the non metallic XXL rainbow bag brand new for £70 too and that one I have no problems with regarding wear so far so am glad about that’s. Initially when you first brought it out I thought you had jumped the shark-that you’re just a shopping addict. But then I saw them side by side and had to concede. Yeah I get it, the jeweled one is more wearable.
