What about parents who are in wheel chairs due to no fault of there own? Would you say they are an example to there cildren? There are children looking after there parent, would you say that? A girl looked after her mother who was in a wheel chair.. people with disabilities who have motor neuron and other disabilities....

@@michelle_sea_view a parent in a wheel chair can still be an example to their child by their character. They can teach them to be moral, kind, generous, etc. The ability to walk is not a requirement to lead by example in showing your kids how to be good people.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle has been an essential part of my life for many years. I firmly believe that a healthy lifestyle not only promotes physical fitness, but also improves one's mental and emotional well-being. My own experience has taught me that a healthy lifestyle is the foundation for a happy and fulfilling life. Growing up, I constantly saw my family and close friends struggle with obesity and eating healthy. They would constantly eat junk food and never exercise. As a result, they suffered from numerous health problems, including high blood pressure, fatigue, and weakened immune systems. They had to learn the key to a healthy lifestyle which is , finding a balance between physical activity and a nutritious diet. I have made it a point to exercise regularly, whether it's going for a run, practicing yoga, or lifting weights, as well as eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins, while avoiding processed foods and sugary drinks to try and set an example for them. In addition to physical health, a healthy lifestyle also promotes mental and emotional well-being. When I exercise, I feel more energized and focused, and it helps me to manage stress and anxiety. Eating healthy also helps me to feel more confident and in control of my life.
Overall, I believe that a healthy lifestyle is essential for a happy and fulfilling life. It's not just about looking good or feeling good, but also about taking care of your body and mind. When you prioritize your health, you give yourself the best chance at a long and fulfilling life. A healthy lifestyle can also have a positive impact on those around you. By setting an example of healthy habits, you can inspire others to do the same. A healthy lifestyle is of utmost importance to me, and I believe it should be a priority for everyone. By taking care of our physical, mental, and emotional health, we can live happier, more fulfilling lives and inspire those around us to do the same.

I started watching a different video before this one on motivation and I turned it off after 90 seconds. It was a man yelling at a crowd of people and shaming them into getting and staying motivated. Then I watched this beautiful woman give loving and much better advice on long-lasting motivation. Thank you.

Thank youuu!! Forgiving yourself when forming habits is so important. I can't help but feel bad about myself whenever I missed an alarm for morning workout and it makes my day worse. Just need to take it easy on myself and continue trying the next day

A whole life i exercise and having a healthy life style. Martial art, my passion by adjusting your training to your physical capabilities, swimming, scuba diving. Since the pandemic, we start walking every day between 30 and 60 minutes. Combine it with a healthy life style by fresh vegetables, fruit, nuts etc. My families history health style was about social revolution where they enjoyed life too much and paid the price.

Exercise is not as important than food control when it comes to losing weight. One can’t out run a bad diet. A good diet is determined by how little rubbish food we can consume compared to how much good food we consume. If you’re overweight cut out only one bad food out of your diet per month. Chocolate for me is the diet de-motivator/killer. If I can control chocolate then I can wrangle the whole better diet. If you are overweight… try this… a big bowl of salad for breakfast. I sometimes add a meaty protein. No lunch. And for dinner I microwave a zucchini and add olives, mayo and cooked onion. It’s always the zucchini but the additional things change. And I have wine! This on a daily basis strips off the weight. I know the wine is wicked but it means I can socialise with others in the household who also like to drink. This works. Try it.
As far Melanie’s advice is concerned… I think it’s great advice but it’s too weighted in favour of exercise rather than food intake. Also I disagree that having faith in the supernatural (god or as Melanie calls it ‘spirituality’) is a critical factor. Atheists can become fit without the god concept motivating them.

Routine is the BIGGEST factor for me - habits are almost magical (good and bad) how they control us towards or away from success.

I'm sorry this is all great advice if you are in a mild stages depression but when you are in this chronic cycle of feeling like you have a hundred pounds sitting on your throat, another hundred on your shoulders and back, then you have a pounding headache and your stomach is in cramps (that part comes from the guilt of not being able to pull it together) I could go on and on but Ialready know exercise is good for me if I could push myself to do it, I would. The problem is a lot of us don't even realize how much trouble we're in or don't even start to help ourselves until a lot of damage has already been done

I heard the scientific results of exercise vs anti depressants
Incredible It was a Sydney, Australian assessment...we need to exercise like we need to eat healthily
The viscous cycle is more depression less health.
Hopefully find an integrative medico to support you xxc

activity is important, yet there is more to life. find peace in pursuit is found in a spiritual relationship with Jesus the Prince of Peace Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6= Isaiah 9:6. Then we have true purpose in life 'all is well with my soul' and we have the power to live in His forgiveness, friendship & amazing grace!

Cheese, dough and grains ,otherwise known as pizza and beer. Healthy living at its finest. If you can see your feet beyond your stomach, you are healthy. Watch football on TV. Maybe run to the kitchen during commercials for even more health. But dont overdo it.
