On January 8, 2024, authorities announced the 1987 murders of Robin Edwards and David Knobling in Isle of Wight County had been solved. I live in Gloucester and it wasn't him. It was an cop that worked for Gloucester sheriff's office
They found some trace DNA. I don't know why they left that out.
@@RuthFoster-ev4heMe too. I thought how did they get this guy who had no DNA in the data base. I think it was a deputy too. They can be very secretive and deceiving.. But he didn't work alone. Same for the wrongful conviction of Taylor beahls killer. There are deputies that know the truth..but they won't speak..even now. They let someone else take the fall.
They were able to retrieve his dna AFTER his death.
Sad he isn't here to be convicted

Some offshoot religions & sects are forcing under age girls to marry their abuser, to avoid the abuser ( usually part of that same religion) being prosecuted. Solved by "DNA"? Absolutely no specifics on what was found, and where? Sounds very fishy to me. A favorite tactic of inept police is to pin the blame on a dead person who obviously cannot defend themselves and then claim the case is "solved". This gets the family and TV crews off their backs and improves their statistics.

The first true crime podcast I ever listened to covered The Colonial Parkway Murders as the first case, a cold case. It’s so unusual to finally see any resolution at all. Interesting if his hunting buddies haven’t come forward.
His family claims no knowledge. None of the news stories say if there’s dna in the other 3 cases. I hope the other 3 cases get resolved!!

I live in Gloucester County not far from colnial parkway anyway since i was young i was always told the killler was a man that use to work for the Gloucester county sheriff's office🤷🏾♀️ This cop would always show up on the scene and it wasnt his jurisdiction to be there.

In my opinion, someone powerful is involved. If not, it would be investigated who may have done but may harm someone in power. That's what I think is going on here. The brother has to come to grips with that. I don't think it will ever be resolved until when and if the person involved has passed away. This is just like the Idaho 4 case. We will never know who actually did what. Money talks and killers walk. Just saying.
