I absolutely love the way this turned out! I have been waiting for this channel to put out a grimdark Imperial Fist. I was definitely not disappointed by the results!
So you think you could paint a grimdark style on the nighthaunt Scarlett doom faction? A lot of people just cover them in blood for the blood god and I feel there is so much more possibilities out there. I also think you would do a amazing job at it
I already did Nighthaunt back in 2016 with a blood spattering recipe but were not specifically Scarlet Doom. It's on our website and we have some photos of them on our social media FB/IG
Nice work, love it! I would love to see you guys take on a kitbashed Grey Knight in this style. Just ordered the Villany Ink starter kit to use for this purpose.
The villiany inks i ordered absolutely do not dry quickly at all... in fact, they can be wet for days in some cases. I really want to like them over the regular AK or mig products but it's very difficult at this point.
@leroylong78 maybe you have the early batch. But even still, some of the paints do have longer working times. Depends if they are the effects or the washes. feel free to email me: info@grimdarkcompendium.com
@GrimdarkCompendium Mine are from the kickstarter and take like days to dry, and still on some parts could be manipulated. The effects are good, but it's a bit of a pain if you want to continue your project that day.
The character that the face brings is superb
indeed it shows the War-torn look of a Warrior.
Yeah it's awesome, do you know where it's from?
This approach captures the feel of 40k far more effectively that the Eavy Metal style. Excellent work.
Thanks!
ahhhhh the soothing dulcet tones of the one and only DARK AGES WORKSHOP! My buddy! So great to hear your voice!
impressive, it reflects the world of 40k perfectly, the face is brutal, where it comes from, it's cool for a conversion that I have in mind

Amazing! Any chance you have thought about doing a Grimdark HH White Scar on bike? 😊
This is amazing! Is there any chance that the acrylic over the enamel could affect the curing of the enamel?
What did you use for the custom purity seals? As for the wires are they copper wires..? Learnt something here already. Great video.
Yes exactly. Thanks! Glad to hear you enjoyed.

Can you use oil in place of enamel in order to get the acrylic reductive effect to work?
What do you use for the purity seals
Please tell me what age of sigmar kit you used on the dark angel inner circle kitbash, I need it lol 🙏🏻 help a brother out
this is great! Tell me, what did you use to make the seal of purity?😮
That is cloth with a very tight weave.

Nice! Glad to hear it. Yes. We'll slowly cover as many factions and chapters as we can.
That face is beautifully done but it's also a lesson for all my brother's out there to WEAR YOUR HELMET
what kind of tape material?
The total opposite of eavy metal..but it totally captures the look of the 40k universe…I love it
Thank you!! Yes, we like it grim.

How did you create those tabard and purity seal paper bits?!
Cheesecloth (?)
Nice
Thanks!
Where can I get that skull showing head bits?
Primaris Heavy Intercessors
Thank you!! I'll try your recipe
What material are the cloth pieces make of?
That's just actual real cloth with a very tight weave
@@GrimdarkCompendium Thanks! Do you know if it was full cotton or a blend?
What did you use to shape it and fix that shape, please?
Outstanding! That is the way marines should look. Not clean and highlighted.
i love the content, but why do you sound like a 2005 blockbuster trailer?
🤣🤣 Our friend, course maker and artist Dark Ages Workshop is italian. He just sounds like this. Has the voice of a chain smoking angel.
Just another reason to love the man in my book!
Decrepit filth...🔥 name
very nasty !
Thanks!
Has something happened on this channel with a different painter or something? this voice sounds odd.
There are several artists working on Grimdark Compendium, this is Dark Ages Workshop.
Thank you so much for the tips, the Grimdark artwork.. never a disappointment on the compendium 😊🫡👌🤟🤟🤟
