How do you keep the color?
just add a white color layer underneath and you'll see the colors are back to being true
@@ashleybenchek7352 What do you mean exactly? Please elaborate
@@niclasweintz same. didn't understand
Watch video carefully
Just duplicate the layer
OMG thanks!! it works well in architectural plans, removing background while maintaining the scaled lineweight of my plans.
OMG what is this sorcery 😍! This is what I have been looking for, result is perfect. Finally no white around the edges when setting a black background! Not all heroes wear capes ❤💋
Thanks for your positive comment, I will continue to bring forth amazing videos
One minute and sixteen seconds. Incredible. Thank you for giving me the solution without wasting a single second of my time.
after you do everything click the fx and click color overlay and then click the color that you want if you originally wanted to keep the color
whats the fx?

I was not logged in . Logged just to say thank you. Magic !
Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. In most videos when it comes to removing the background, the magic wand is always pointed out, but that's no use when you have so many details in the picture. Many greetings from Germany
I am happy the video was helpful, thanks for watching ♥️
Thanks man, I was looking for that. Finally no white trace back with the black line.
This is literally the best tutorial I’ve ever seen to remove a background without compromising any details. Took me 2 minutes
Nice 👍
Awesome
Good technique, but it didnt work when my image had colors in it. This worked only for B&W image
Amazing
Thank you so much! I struggled with this for two days. Now I can also change the color! This is exactly what I want! !
You're so welcome! ♥️
lovely! thanks, just a little question, when I click copy the final image, it creates a new layer, i clicked alt key but didn't work
awesomee!
Thank you sir...
this is a very useful video, but I have a problem, when I work on a color photo in exactly the same way, when I create a new layer, the color changes from color to black. What is the solution?
please give us an answer to this
Select a portion of white using rectangular marque tool then go to select>similar>backspace that's it
YOU ARE KIDDING ME! thanks so much!
Dude that's awesome 😂 thanks bud
Bro.. can I give you a Nobel prize.. my God. I spent 3 hours watching tutorials that didn’t work and you solved my problem in one 2 second comment lol THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I could hug you 🤣
man u're a genius
BROOOOOOOOOOOOOO
shortest and easy video, thanks a lot!
More magic! Exactly what I needed thanks.
Great to hear!
To fix the semi-transparent, just under the properties tab click "select and mask" and change the contrast to 100%.
Just wanted to say, thank you. Simple and clean video tutorial.
You're most welcome
GREAT WORK NICE AND SIMPLE BRO LETS GOO!!!!
Thanks, I appreciate
Super bro
This is great but please for anyone posting Photoshop tutorials on UA-cam, please put a black bannner on the bottom so when we stop and rewind we can see the photoshop adobe buttons over the youtube displays.
Helpful!
Nailed it. Exactly what I needed! Much appreciated
Thanks
Nice
Wow another way ❤️❤️😍😍
Thanks ❤️
What if I wanted to leave the white just behind the head and remove the rest of the white around the logo...
Really helpful!
Thanks for sharing this tutorial! It was really helpful!

You’re welcome, thanks for watching
Amazing tutorial
Thank you! Cheers!
A very detailed tutorial.
Thank you.❤
You're welcome
I lost the colors in my image. When I pasted the image it turned to a grey image and not the pink it was before? I am guessing the prior designer made it pink in some way this process removed.
Very helpful. Thanks for going slow enough to understand what functions you were selecting.
Interesting ♥️
Keep it up 🥰
Thanks 🤗
Can you change the colour?
Which photo Shop
Very Helpful. Thanks
Does this work if its an imported file? A photo a drew on paper and scanned? I have very detailed art, and have been trying to bring it as digital art, been trying to remove the background but its extremely detailed.. it’s black and white photos.
It’s works only if the image is clear enough, you can give it a trial
Save my life and project! Thanks!

Thank you, this was very useful!!
Hello, thanks for your video and your time. I have only a question, please: Why when I export it do I see a total black image? Is there a special way to export it with this transparent background? Thanks
Yes, just save it as PNG
es lo mejor que hay en cuanto a transformar en png sin perder calidad
You... you are a hero without a cape. It was driving me crazy. Thanks for the tutorial bro 😂😊
You're welcome ❤️
YOU ARE SO OG FOR THIS THANK U
This was so helpful. Thank you for the video
You're welcome ❤️
New to Photoshop. When I get to the part where you paste the copied image, mine always pastes as a new layer. Any idea why I can't get it to paste into Layer 1?
create first the layer mask, the one that he clicked at the bottom (rectangle with circle inside), then at the layer mask, there where you paste your image
i like this direct to the point
Thanks
The ONLY video I found properly detailing how to get PNG images! thank you very much!!
You are welcome dear, thanks for your positive review ♥️
Oh wow this was actually super helpful. Thank you so much!
Thanks 😍
How to save it
I just subscribed to your channel. Keep it up man. You are awesome.
Thanks man, I really appreciate ❤
Ok this seems to have worked well in Photoshop, but I have to save it as a JPEG to use it as a watermark for Lightroom. When I click to add the watermark in Lightroom the logo still has a white block background. I just want the logo in the photo, not the square white background behind it. It literally looks like it worked until I go to put it on an image in LR as a watermark. Any ideas?
Try saving it in png
How is this better than using "blend if" and converting to a smart object? Then color adjustment layer with clipping mask. This seems like way less control.
Great
Thanks
Thank you for sharing 🙏🙏🙏
You're welcome
Could you tell me how to save it without background, I would like to save it in PNG.
This works so well, but then how do you use the extracted image in a new document when it is linked in the layers?
You can save it as PNG or merge the layers and move it to the document
When I add a vector mask holding alt it just makes two black screens not one black one white
Same issue
perfect, thanks !
You did this in the most complicated way possible lol. So many more simpler ways.
cursor ko magnify kaise kr rahe ho pls bta do bro
This helped me a ton. Thank you!
You're welcome
Super helpful, but how do you remove the background from around the image and not within the image?
I like it!
Thanks 😊
Thank you for this. I do have a question. I am stuck with it being too transparent, how do I make it darker?
Ok, convert it to smart object, go to image >> Adjustments >> Curves, and drag down the slider to make it darker
Try it and give me feedback
@@epickreatives I maybe doing something wrong cause nothing happened 😅
This looks so easy, yet I can get it, Maybe it don't work with CS5? HELP
Thank you!
Mine is like with low opacity how i give the 100%?
thanks zawg even tho you didnt use shortcuts n that annoyed me this is a good tutoriyal
I am having an issue with doing this with a color image... i use the the bucket tool and whether i fill with black like u did, or i fill with the color of the image, it shows up grey when i hit paste... it seems to do the right thing when i get done, except its sooooo light, so when i adjust saturation the back ground, even though its checkered, is still colored.... i followed this step by step, idk what im doing wrong.
I believe in order to do the same effect you must copy the colored image (adding another one to the layer) then add the black to the first and press invert i hope it works (i haven't tested this theory yet)
This doesn’t work on a colored image, I will make a video on how to do that soon
Did you make the video for colored images? @@epickreatives
Remember guys to download in png.
It's veary useful, thx
Thanks
Hello, I need help, I want a certain thing like a sticker on tiwtch, but I can remove the background, but I don't want it to be visible as soon as I upload it, so I can just see the transparent background in the photo, the surroundings are not transparent, if we understand, I would like to know how so that nothing can be seen because it is constantly displayed to me, including the transparent background. Thanks
You can contact me on whatsapp, let me understand what you want +2347040213538
When I try to paste the original image in the mask, it actually creates a new layer. It doesn't work as in your example.
I experienced the same at first but check the comment just before pasting the original picture, you have to click on the mask while holding alt key, and then paste your original image ;-)
Thank you
Worked like a charm! Thank you!
You're welcome ❤️ thanks for watching
You are the best, thank you so much for this! ✨✨
You're welcome dear💕
Fantastic! Thank you

Thank you my friend. You saved my day
