Yeah i got a thin tpu case with slight heat dissipation, cut out a 4 1/4 inch hole in center and put that cooler in center. Adds grip for long gaming sessions, protects my fingers from getting hot and keeps my 12.9” m2 ipad pro cool even while playing games like genshin impact, PUBG Mobile or Diablo Immortal. Of course also gives slight protection on sides and back as well

I've got it for the ipad mini 6 and pro 11 m2, but i found another use to it. now my laptop on diablo 4 stays around 50 C
I bought this for my 2019 Intel Macbook Pro which has thermal pad mod. I applied the magnetic Disc without applying the thin TPU layer. its working super good. the thin TPU layer slightly inhibits the cooling performance
the cooling will be bad with the thin tpu film. apply without the tpu film in between. To remove the pad just use a heat gun, heat the pad and remove the residual glue with some IPA.
Technically I guess? There’s nothing stopping you from using it indoors vs outdoors as long as you have a power source. With that said I would try to refrain from using any mobile device with a battery in direct sunlight. Check our battery videos for more battery tips and tricks.

Just get samsung tab s7 or the s8 whenever they release the s9 in few weeks, those aren't able to fet hot by themselves anyways, but they would probably run a bit better with the fan

im a bit late to this but anyway, I wanted to point out that the less thermal insulation materials like plastics and so on the better. The 3M is necessary but I wouldn't stick the first plastic layer as I don't think the iPad is gonna scratch

I have one but it is a bit smaller, works like a charm. The temperature will drop to like -1 degree celcius if the fan is not attached to iPad. When attached to iPad, the temperature stays 9 to 15 degrees, which I doubt will cause condensation inside the iPad. Because so far I've noticed, the condensation starts at like 4 or 5 degrees

So many questions. Can you use it in another tablet not just apple. How big is it? Compare it to the razer phone cooler for tablets. Use infrared camera to see difference.
It's made for iPad but I don't think anything will stop you from using it on another tablet, but you can check the link in description and see if it'll work on your device. Size dimensions are also in that link. If you know how big an iPad Pro is, this video gives a great understanding of size. Could have used my FLIR cam but probably wouldn't demonstrate the temp properly since there is a big magnetic area that would be much cooler than the iPad. That's the whole point of this review is for us to tell you if it got cooler or not. Plus, you can try it for yourself, Amazon usually has a good return policy.

Considering the music is lowered by 27db it says a lot. It's pretty quiet, as I mentioned in the video.

You may need a 20-45W usb c power supply/charging brick, i have an m1 pro, i switched to 45W and the coolers performance is higher
