- My best game so far in years, and by far. I had TWO attempts to beat the boss in ONE single game. Of course, no pinball game is ever perfect. Everything in this game was (at least for me), except the fact that I did not beat the boss. I did beat Island adventure twice though.
EDIT we are now in 2022, I watch this again and I still am impressed about how things went so, so smoothly in this pinball game. Especially during steam frenzy which starts at 26:53 . I managed to get the super jackpot during this mind-blowing gameplay. I was doing some shit with the flippers I didn't know I could do I guess.
This game aged well. I remember playing this 20 years ago, and it's still amazing. The musics, sound effects, the board itself is awesome. I've spent countless hours trying to finish it, and never been able to. But I love it.
It took so much time for me and my father to beat it perhaps 12-14 years ago. I played it again a few years ago and I managed to beat it a couple of times. My father was so much more into this than me at first back then , trying to get to the boss. His reactions after he was losing his balls were hilarious. Yeah the music is very good, the board is great and all! A great game
@@DaveGamingg Cool stuff. For me it was my mother who loved to play it.
Yeah, I want a real world model of this game. For now I have to dig out my old PC, blow the dust clear to play this game. I also have Big Race USA but It’s not as awesome as Fantastic Journey.
Indeed not, from what I have seen and heard so far. I agree with you totally, I'd play that pinball machine for sure if it existed!
I have all the Pro Pinball simulations. They are as good as Pinball Arcade. Fantastic tables. The only table that has stopped working for me is Pro Pinball - The Web. All the others work fine.
Thanks for the information ! Which table would you recommend personally?
I WON this game with my friend. It took a whole summer of practice but in the end we actually beat it. This isn't the kind of game you can just win after a month of practice. It takes multiple months.
Yes indeed. It takes a lot of time, but after a while I managed to beat it a couple of times at least! I sure wish I could have beaten it during this 9 billion points game though...
@@DaveGaminggIt was funny we each used a flipper as if somehow that might give us some advantage. It was fun even if it didn't lol. Good memories.
I still think this is the best fake pinball game ever made. It plays great. I mean nothing beats a real mechanic pinball but this is by far the best digital one ever made.
Agreed! This game really made me discover pinball initially, and then I had so much fun on the Iron Maiden pinball machine in the arcades near my home. After work 5pm I'd go play that pinball machine, and had so much fun when the extra balls still worked back then!
LOL Dave, When I started playing pinball, there were no computers invented yet :) Pinball machines were electro mechanical. So you can guess what kind of pinball machine I have at home :) Big Valley the first pinball machine that had multiball :)

i remember this game as a kid watching my brother playing mostly times, one specific details in my memoir is when you lose the little man laugh,so evil.
I played it with my father, for consecutive hours on saturday afternoons we'd play and we would try to beat this game. So addictive. I remember the laugh very well for sure!
Great Score. I have Pro Pinball Trilogy for the Dreamcast-a PAL Import. The colors-graphics and video screen are superior than on the PS1. How are you able to get the video screen so high? I can only get it to go a couple inches higher than the steam engine on the PS1? I can get it almost as high as you have it on the Dreamcast. Thanks for any help.
Thanks a lot!! This trilogy is most likely something I will look into in the next couple of weeks/months, I always was a fan of pinball games in general, still am today! And I think the main reason why the graphics look so good is because this was recorded on the PC version, there is one that exists.
this soundtrack kicks ass
Thank you! Yes the soundtrack is nostalgia to me. A classic childhood game!
Im really sorry for u, unlucky Johnny.
Classic pinball game. Sometimes lucky, sometimes unlucky...
I had this on ps1 and I’m getting it back soon , I had all 4 , the web, toemshock, big race usa, and this fantastic journey. I would rate them from beat to worst in reverse order of the 4 I stated. This is my favourite along with big race usa.
I've never ever played the other pinballs, but I heard that big race is pretty decent indeed. Still today this game can still be tons of fun!
What platform is this on? PS1?
A ps1 game originally, but played on the PC version
Very impressive score, I only have the PS1 version, Fun game.
Thanks! Very fun game indeed, it is much easier getting good at it on the PC version if you ask me. But when I was a child I absolutely loved playing this game on the PS1!
7:41 wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. 😍❤️💯👏
Since it is a long game I don't remember everything from it, but I just watched again my boat adventure which went flawlessly and I was hitting some satisfying shots as well, so I agree. Wiiiiiiii!!
Extra ball! muha ha haaa!!!!
Let's just admit it , those extra balls are SO satisfying every time. Shame that the real pinball machines that I play in real life in the arcades do not give our well deserved extra balls. Frustrating !
