I want this reboot to look like the good old original
I just want to point out that while the likes of Gumball, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls and all other post-2000's cartoons were airing, people were also online bemoaning how Cartoons were not at the level of the good old days.
We've always had trash. We just remember the gems in the trash and think that that's what it was all like. Watch, in 10 to 15 years, you'll have channels bemoaning the good old days when cartoons were good in the 2020's.
We really need more shows where they don't talk down on the audience
I can't comment much on the new fairly odd parents show since I haven't seen it, but apparently it's really good. I have no idea how much of it you've seen but it's getting a lot of praise online

The ending of Star vs the forces of evil didn't make sense to me. Merging Dimensions, I mean it's like DC's earth prime but knowing how the show's dimensions work is kinda catastrophic. Star and Marco are practically owners or anomalies in that new merged dimension.

I remember looking my little sister watching a cartoon on Netflix. It looked so boring, so plain. The characters weren't talking as their age, but rather looking like babies were around. I noticed a lot of other cartoons doing it as well. I'm really sad because there's a lot of great shows like W.I.T.C.H, Winx, Adventure Time. Even We Bare Bears, Ben 10 was enjoyable too. They didn't talk like they were 6. Neither the adults.
It's great to see that am not the only one thinking kids shows regressed.
I also noticed the editing is much calmer than the pervious one. Which is funny to think about. You were radiating with nostalgia on the Bleyblade video and passion on the Volleyball video, and now you're much calmer and serious about the matter. Still not disappointing! Keep it up San, you're doing great :D

its not even about the showing sending a message. most cartoons are just cash grabs. theres no story or plot. its just characters acting like idiots
companies are only worried about money so they just make episodic shows that "cant fail"
im not saying episodic is bad. Adventure time and steven universe started out as episodic. but they built up to the story and everything from past episodes would show up in the back ground as easter eggs
we dont get that with the newer shows anymore. newer shows arent building a story, or a world.
I agree with what you say for the most part, but I have a few nitpicks. Not every show needs to go from episodic to story driven like Adventure Time and Steven Universe. Shows can still be just episodic, like Phineas and Ferb, SpongeBob, Dexters Lab etc. Not all shows necessarily NEED a real story to work, a plot yeah, but not necessarily a story. And with your idiot characters complaint, I can agree for the most part. For me, I don’t mind an idiot character, but there needs to be boundaries. If you want that idiot character to be funny, then you’d have to be something similar to Emperors New Grove and make jokes that actually land, but balance it out with other none idiotic characters.
