I remember when McDonalds first started making breakfast, it was AMAZING. And even into the 80’s, it was real food ingredients:real eggs, real buttermilk biscuits (made from scratch), it was SO GOOD…it’s just sad how horrible fast food is now. It really is killing people’s health 😢
@@Fearlessdove I never thought I would be an older person talking about the “good ole days”, but here I am, old, being nostalgic and watching UA-cam videos about the “good ole days! Ha!
The McPizza lineage traces back to the 1980s, when it started as a whole pie that was served at your table on a pizza rack. The product became a personal-sized pizza in 1991 and lingered on the menu at hundreds of the chain's U.S. stores until nearly 2000, but it never really caught on.
I have eaten at all of these fast food restaurants at one time or another over the years but these days it is usually a Sonic Drive In or Taco Bell Thanks for the Memories.🇺🇲📺🇺🇲
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 l'd rather eat at home! That way l knowed where my food has been! From garden to kitchen table simple as that! Nothing beats a home cooked meal and homemade salad! 👍😊😍
Not from the 70s/80s....but many of these brought me back to leaving high school in the late 90s and eating the things our parents didn't agree with....but mannnn was it a fun trip with 8 of us in an SUV and feeling all grown up buying our own food 😅🤣😂
Ok .. speaking from someone who lived in the 70’s most of this stuff is from the 80’s. Wendy’s only had a single, double and a triple and Frosty’s and I could go on 😂
I enjoyed visiting most of these establishments with my girlfriend, then my wife! After a few years it was with our children. But then time eroded some of these fine eateries. Now it's just a look back at what once was. Time is a bitch!!!
The Bellbeefer was my favorite at Taco Bell but it never came with lettuce or onion, just the bun and meat. Taco Bell and McDonald's were the only fast foods in my area until Burger King and Wendy's showed up in the late 80s. Sonic just opened a few years ago.
All these foods advertized my family and me can make 'em all at home! Cheaper and ya'll don't have to get gussied up and go and buy the food. Nothing can beat home cooking! 👍😊
I love my daughter's homemade chilli dogs! They are the best! We always made all my Moms' old recipes. Ya'll just can't beat homecooking. It's also cheaper! 👍😊
Sadness.😢 Some of these fast food restaurants never made it to Massachusetts! Sonic has only ONE location here and that wasn't until about 10 years ago!
Talk about a difference between back then, and now, when I worked at Hardees, we were trained to be meticulous in the preparation of "ALL" of the products on the menu. From the sandwiches, to the breakfast biscuits, to the salads, fries, and desserts, we put in the effort to give each customer a product that not only was tasty, but was put together neatly. There was none of this "JUST SLAP IT TOGTHER", and hand it to the customer, and let them deal with the mess. We maintained a high level of service, and cleanliness. The same was applied at KFC when I worked for them. Nowadays, it's obvious that no one cares enough about the customer anymore by just the mere attitude that you get.
Wendy’s was sensational back in the 70s their french fries were crisp and delicious. They’re singles with cheese with everything was juicy and flavorful. The yumbo at Burger King was my favorite along with the whaler. And everything with $.79 cents
The old Jack In The Box is now Big 'N' Beefy in Lawrence MA. I've never had any food from any if those resteraunts. But my freinds swear by them. I like home cooked better! Fast food isn't a thing with me. I love the commercials though. 👍😊
They didn't evolve, they just changed. Most of these menus where better in the 70's than today. They went from good food to human made component food. The food today is less healthy than yesterday.
The only thing l like from Mc Donald's is their large diet Coke at 1.29! They can keep their foods. My daughter and my grandson and me will cook at home! Better for all of us! 👍😊
Arby's always suffered from one short coming that has become common today. Despite how good the food looked, somehow your teeth would always meet in thin air. 🤥
Why does there always have to be at least one party pooper in the comments such as yourself? If you don’t like fast food, why in the world are you watching a video about fast food?
Fast food was a lot healthier back then. Food was made on site, not trucked in frozen. Most places fried their foods in lard or tallow, not seed oils like today. Lard and tallow are good for you, seed oils are poison. Buns have also changed, you wouldn't find sugar or hfcs in buns then like they are now.

I'm so addicted to these videos! It's nice to just watch these after a long day and reminisce.

Oh this hurts my soul and my pocketbook. I miss the old days when fast food wasn't by default overpriced garbage.
I wasn't around in 70's but 80's babies can relate to some lol
@@PureGreatness334-hi4mt lol yeah 1 cent gumball machines and 25 cent soda machines
Agree, in the 60’s 70’s and even into the 80’s most fast food (albeit fried) was still REAL FOOD.
Believe it or not, I still remember how good Kentucky Fried Chicken was and how it tasted😊
@@TangledNanaEven the fried food was healthier because lard or tallow was used in the fryers, not the poisonous seed oils of today.

Back when Wendy’s had the greatest tables ever
Are they the old newspaper print tables? If so I,myself wishes that they'd bring those back.
It didn't cost so much to give yourself a heart attack back then. No cell phones either. And no 911 either.

I still miss the Taco Bell Enchirito!
Me, too! I always asked for the green sauce instead of the red enchilada sauce.

I never heard of the Beefeater taco, but it sounds sublime! 🌮
@chrismayer3919 It was delicious, and back then, it was real meat, freshly cooked throughout the day.
@@charliedavis8894 🤤🌮 STOP TORMENTING ME!!!

In the 70's McDonald's sold fried chicken in boxes in the Dayton Ohio area and it was very good.
Back when food was chemical free🎉

I remember when I was in hs in the 70s on a Saturday night I would go to jack in the box for 2 of their very greasy tacos for .99
Anyone remember Burger Queen? There was like a Bee as the mascot? Am I tripping?
Lol! 😂
Church's is so good! Only way I can get it here is if I go to the hood, which isn't often
Izzat Donald Trump in the beginning in the Pizza 🍕 Hut commercial?! "Then it's a deal?" 🤔 Ha! He had the 🦆 tail even back then!😂

I'm not even vegetarian or vegan.. but I love the impossible whopper. It kind of tastes like the original whopper to me.
I could have sworn he said “blant paced”.
KFC is the last place I would go to for fried chicken
Didn’t know trump was in commercials
Arby's doesn't have half the choices they used to. No more turkey and very few chicken options. Disappointing.
Arby's always suffered from one short coming that has become common today. Despite how good the food looked, somehow your teeth would always meet in thin air. 🤥
No matter the price, that junk food is very bad for health and should be avoided !
