March 18th, 2020 (session 26) -- Afternoon of day 3 of my Deerfield, FL fishing trip. After eating an intense lunch, I went back to the G-08 Canal to chase some exotic Species that I might have missed in the morning. Read more about it below:

🐠 ...All "exotic" Cichlids in Florida are nonnative (a.k.a. invasive). They were either released by folks in the fish/aquarium trade, or they escaped via aquaculture. Here is a list from the Florida Wildlife of all established Cichlids in the state: bit.ly/34fyhC1

Sometimes an Owner Half-Moon Tanago hook (www.tenkarabum..., with the same setup.

Loven the forum brother, always checking it on my 3am break at work, working midnight shift in a warehouse that supplies 90%of the grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacys, convenience store and so on here in nova Scotia, shes been a rough few weels but we're holding strong and keeping things rocken!

Empanadas are the best! I used to fish canals and ponds around Miami in the early 1970s ,pretty much only bass and bluegill back then. Pre-exotic period I guess.
I've always wondered what these waters looked like back before all these exotics were introduced.

They are both Cichlids; though, in different genera! I used to catch Carás back when I was a kid. So beautiful.

About species I would also want to ask you a question: what's the situation about Ameiurus melas in the US? I'd love to see you catch one! In Italy, of all the Ameiurus genre we ONLY have Ameiurus melas, so it's quite strange to me seeing that you anglers in the US rarely catch one :)

Love everything you do! Ive been fishing since I was 4 years old, I love how wholesome your videos are but I have question. I've noticed a lot of the videos have an audio balance problem, the majority of audio is coming from the left side rather than the centre. I was curious if that's for a reason due to traffic or something els?

Um... broward county is near Miami which is virus central in Florida right now I seriously do not want to be anywhere near south Florida right now especially since we are under a big state wide stay at home order until the 30th. There no parks no nothing to fish right now as literally everything is closed. Get the heck out there unless you’re in Philadelphia already. Seriously avoid south Florida right until the stay at home is expired.
