You are right, it’s calming to watch the ‘suffering’ plants get a refresh. I imagine they will all come back beautifully for you. We had a couple harsh days and I was busy on another project, some of my babies need some TLC too. 🌸💕🪴
OK, awesome, glad videos like this are good to watch. I hear you on the harsh days, it's hard to be consistent with garden work when the weather is so whacky!! We can only do what we can do though ❤🌺
I love watching maintence video's it gives me ideas on some things I never thought to do and it's very satisfying to watch other's and know it's not just you lol
Thank you so much for this kind message! I had to chuckle about the gloves.😁 I've always been like that for some reason, just prefer working without them. Thanks for making me smile! 💚🌺
Hi Nicole 🌺. Well done . The plants are going to be amazing in these containers and hope the depladenia will be fine . I have tree poisettia in my garden it becomes five meters the big red flowers and I planted it from cuttings and it withstands our winter and also I have one like yours out in container the difference between them is the size of the leaves and flowers as well as the shape of the leaves . Have a great day .🌺🌻🌺
Thank you so much for this message and for reminding me you have the tree poinsettia. Please keep me posted on that, because it really does amaze me how big it is!! Thanks again for your sweet message - have a great day! ❤🌺
Can’t wait to see how that ponsietta think I spelled it wrong does. Thought they needed special lighting treatment to get them to turn red in December.
great video !!! thank you for sharing. i have some plants that i need to give tlc also but, it has really been hot here. suppose to get a little rain later so maybe that will help. be safe in this heat.
@@soniewhitten4844 it's so hard to work out there in the heat. Be safe out there. I swear, even if rain is predicted here, it barely ever comes. Ugh. Hope you get the rain you were hoping for!!!
whats so crazy to me is another gardener i follow on YT was in Scotland the last couple weeks too! RANDO! Unless yall were there for gardening reasons LOL
Thank you so much for this kind message! I got mine at Lowe's. They had them about a month ago, not sure about now (why wouldn't they?) They had them in bigger pots compared to the Mandevilla, which came in the small containers. I'll write back if I see them out somewhere this week!
That Kalanchoe looks very healthy! Great addition to your garden! Do you know the best way or even if you can root begonia cuttings? My son gave me a couple of cuttings and I have them in water but it doesn’t look like they’re doing anything and it’s been about 2 weeks 🧐
@summerofstacey6676 keep them in water and you'll see them sprout roots in about 4 weeks or so. I've done that successfully with lots of begonias 😊❤️ yay to your son!!
@salomeantonmcclellan5067 hmm, I think that's risky unless you look up specific plants and how they will react to it. Some plants will get root rot or drown, others will be fine. I bought some of those plastic balls that you fill up with water and stick in pots from Walmart. You can do something similar with plastic soda bottles. Fill with water, screw cap on, drill small holes in cap and stick bottle (cap side down) into the soil. If you'll be gone over a week that might not be enough water though.
@@salomeantonmcclellan5067 I hear you as I ran across the save problem. I opted for putting all pots together and just asking the pet sitter to water 🤷🏼♀️
I have added my pots to a tray or container of water and set them in the garage while away for a week. I didn't add tons of water but the survived. Have done it more then once.

@denisea3036 that's actually a really great point - it does make you feel like it's not just you! I love that. Have a great evening! 😊
Very nice video. I like to see you working and fixing problems in the garden. Good luck for your patiens🤞!

@@sandytoes5108 is great having that feedback, thanks! 😊
Wow I am impressed how you just stick your hands in the pots without gloves 🧤. So wonderful how your plants go to seeds! Great maintenance video 🪴👒🪴

I love your videos and your garden is beautiful. Where did you get your dipladenia plant? I’ve been looking for one. I’m in Wilmington.

Going on vacation in 3 weeks, kind of worry about my plants. Thinking of placing some on a large container w/ some water. What do you think?
