Lol So true about the fire fish. When I first got mine, it would jump into the overflow every other day. Once it found a safe haven under a rock it stopped.
I hate to be that guy, but fish is only acceptable as plural if they are all the same species. Because these are varied species, the correct term is actually fishes. Learned that from an ichthyologist.
So basically most people are wrong..? Thanks for teaching us! So when I say "check out my reef tank full of fish" I should be saying "tank full of fishes?".
Do you guys recommend using Aragonite for a substrate on a 10 gallon Nuvo Fusion tank. I do plan on using it as a reef tank. Someone at a fish store told me that be careful with aragonite because some corals might attach themselves to it, he said I should use sand instead. Any advice would be appreciated. I love your content.
It’s all choice. If you’re gonna have heavy flow. Use aragonite. If regular use sand. Mushrooms will stick to the aragonite. Most soft corals will attach to aragonite. But if you’re putting corals on the tank bed, it’s better if it DOES attach to the aragonite. Then it won’t shift or move around.
@@dedicatedreefer9966 Hey thanks for your response, I do like the look of the Aragonite. It reminds me of a fresh water substrate. I definitely will keep easy corals and the pump that the tank came with is pretty beefy. Going with the Aragonite will probably help me in the long run with the heavy flow.
@@richardfuentes4204 aragonite for sure. I just migrated from a tank with fine sand and it was a nightmare to manage flow, especially as things grow and channels become ever tighter
@@daftgowk1 Yeah thanks for responding, I think I will use Aragonite. The tank is small and I'm worried about the flow knocking it around. That happens in my fresh water tanks when I use a HOB filter and sand.
Love this show everyday! March - pls tel me I can put a 6line wrasse in the innovative marine 15g AIO I am about to setup. First fish will be a clown (for my son) and mostly soft coral. Naysayers indicate the wrasse won’t jive but I trust what you said in this video that it’s possible. Help a brother out. :). TY, Keep it up fam!

@@lauraholmes9353 Hah, i would never make a big deal of it, but sure its always nice to be technically correct.
Yaaaay! More fishies 🥰
I think I bought the last peppermint shrimp 😅. That was about a long year ago when i had aptasia in my tank. Its all gon yhanks to him.
My lfs have peppermint shrimp
So a 6 line will do ok in my red sea max 130d ...
It's a 34 gallon aio... An older model
Brag Fox corals at it again
When referring to more than one species of fish, you can use fishes as the plural
I have a 6 line wrasse and a sunrise dottyback in a 25gal tank. They have only been in the same tank for about 3 weeks. I hope they don't fight haha.
Tailspot Blenny is quite a character.
It just wants a rock to hide in! Then it will calm down
Tia looks pretty today
Molly miller blennys are GREAT for Aiptasia
Tia's answer was the only answer lol
Tia 🔥😍

I would go with Fiji pink live sand by caribsea

First fish next USA! Keep branching out!😜
Are all these new fish captive bred?
I'm looking for a Blood Orange Clownfish and Elongate Dottyback. Could you bring them in?
That is a hector's goby
I want to buy that invert wall....who made it?
I'm almost ready for live stock

Most sources suggest at least 30g to 40g aquarium size. You will properly have agression problems in that small of a tank.
a six line also swims way too much, I think putting it in a 15g would be quite cruel
@@nanocube6689 Definitely we should give wild caught fish the best lives possible.
Ok ok, I’m sold, I assumed that was the case just never experienced them myself first hand. Appreciate the candor folks.
Fish !
Cool fish :)
Filefish love acans !!!! Those will go first lol
Also no guarantee that they’ll even eat the aptasia. Luck of the draw!
Sounds… fishy 🤨
Sorry, but the plural of fish when there is more than one species is "fishes"
