Hello ! 👋 I have a problem with all the Tallylyn trains and need some help So.... I can obviously get it going and set off however I have trouble getting it up to say 10mph it also always never seems to be able to climb up small hills or climb very small gradients? It just slows down all the way to 0mph and just stops? Very frustrating when I really do have a love for the locos and using them! Any fix? Any help is greatly appreciated👍
Sounds like you are not keeping the pressure up. You need to learn how to balance feeding the fire, keeping the water in the boiler at the right temp to keep the pressure up and adjusting the reverser so as not to waste too much steam. For hills you need to keep the boiler pressure up otherwise you will just stall. Can’t remember if this route has sanders on the locomotives. Its not my route I just recorded a session I played on it.
Also, ive tried C to open the cylinder cocks but it doesn't work ... seen other get them going but I don't know how? If you could help me out that would be great! 😁
Yes, Train Simulator 2021. The Talyllyn is not an official dove-tail route like the Corris. It is a fan made route that I got for 5 euros. They also make the Ffestiniog route too.
Nice: just funny that the smoke seeps through the concrete bridges. Still great fun.
Cause it’s not an ‘official’ route so its not up to date.
Train simulator has never had physics to make smoke react to bridges sadly.
