Not judging by any means...but man, what a fall from grace. If you go back and listen to his promos from the 90s, he sounds like a completely different human/person. Tragic what alcohol and drugs do to a person and the vicious cycle that it creates. I wish him well.

I worked an independent show in Binghamton with Marty Jannetty, great guy, don't know about his demons, had a beer with me, had a little party afterwards, treated me with respect, cool guy as far as I'm concerned. As far as a worker, in the ring. It was a great show, the fans were satisfied, enjoyed every minute of working with him. The first time I've ever seen a quadruple cross face. Mind you, I was just a manager, but it was fun to work with him.
Marty done slipped up and said Luna like 50 times in 3 minutes. I think he can stop saying "oops" like it's still an accident now.
I guess we know how he spent the money he got for the interview. God damn he's lit up.
I do hope he can turn it around. I know what he is going through. Took me years to finally get clean. Probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
